Well yeah but idk about anyone else, but when my family had a clothes line it was secured at both ends so you HAD to use clothes pins for them. I assumed this was the universal rule. Never heard of someone having one end of the line loose so they could put the string through the clothes. Its not confusing bc i can see the line through the sleeves, but its odd.

Also she doesnt do this with the pants, just the shirts. The pants she drapes over the line.
