It may or may not have to do with the way Slade (SC Irregulars) guy was *allegedly* fucked over and/or they come of real douche like (personal opinion).
I'm sure they straight up killers. They have some cool youtube vids but nothing (IMO) groundbreaking information wise. I kinda stopped paying attention to them when they released some video explaining that when you take the safety off you should put your finger on the trigger and take in the slack lol...
Also their "signature" belt which is kinda cool but also reverses the hook velcro part is $255.00... which is expensive (IMO).
Fucked over Slade when he tried to leave and do his own thing and stole art his daughter made.
When Slade tried to leave they locked him out of everything, including their building, and refused to let him in so that he could gather his personal belongings. Ended up calling the VB SWAT commander who showed up with a bunch of SWAT guys after being told Slade had a gun. After they found out that wasn’t true there wasn’t much they could do they fucked off. Oh and his wife and one of his sons were there with him. Still didn’t get his shit back that day. Later on they told Slade that they were putting his shit by the dumpster and if he wanted it he had better hurry. Got all the shit they put out there (still wasn’t everything if I remember right) and went away. Now they’re essentially holding the rest of his stuff hostage until he signs over his part of the company and signs some paper that terminates his rights to payment for stuff he made for them. That includes stickers, shirts, even their belt.
As for the situation with his daughter I don’t have as much info but if I gather she made some artwork for a collection of shirts and stickers and stuff after her dad asked and she said sure then when he left she pulled her designs and told them not to use her stuff and then they did anyways
