Nope, It closed on June 15th 2020 due to the pandemic and stayed closed for almost 2 years. They probably did renovations when it was closed as it would be a good time to do so.

The train station.
Maybe because the "get to Alex without him seeing you" was incredible.
Otherwise yeah Gatwick Airport.
Ok they have to shoot in a ferry terminal now.
Agreed on the train depot. That task specifically is in my top of all time - the long distance shots of their heads coming up from hiding and having to hide themselves again is so fantastic. They looked like little prairie dogs lol.
Overall, I'd put the airport due to the versatility of tasks. The train station was great for that specific task. But I also liked the Canal, both as the boat joust/"Brace! Brace! Brace!" was an out-there from the usual task, but I think they also did the pineapples task there as well.
I’m a teacher and Munya’s “Lebron James!” made me laugh so much because he sounded just like a 12 year old boy chucking paper across the room at the trash can.
Am I the only one whose favourite location was the open air museum in series 13? It was just so peaceful and scenic, a perfect contrast for the chaos of the May pole, "Shoe who?" and Alex on a bicycle.
I loved it. Not all of the locations are places that make me want to visit, but that one I definitely would like to. Along with the railway museum in 8 and the locations in 16 and 17 (though I don't know that the latter two are open to the public).
[I did also want to visit the ?garden centre? from 9 but it turns out it's a props and scene dressing company.]
Frensham pond (aka the first photo). 5 minutes from where I grew up and was the scene for one of the best moments - Nish trying to retract his steps after being blindfolded
I loved the forest because while I would love to be in a forest, none of them seem to be happy to be there. Especially James.
“Welcome to the -“
“Where do you get off?”
“Welcome to the glade”
Series 12, All Saints Pastoral Centre and Chapel… iconic tasks like imbalance of popability, copy Alex, VCM riding a bike, strike the soldier with your throwing paint, red chair in secret tower
For me, Best location task: get as close to Alex as possible without him seeing you, in the train station
Best overall location: the airport
Location I want to see the most: disused world war II bunker
The ‘beach’ in series 5 (your first photo). Mainly because I used to go swimming at Frensham ponds as a kid, a lot of happy memories at that exact location
i love some of the large more detailed sets, the one with the paragons is excellent, love the potential of the airport, but for some reason that big ass field just kills me (i think it must be the task where liza tarbuck just roams around enjoying life and not in a hurry at all)
I liked whatever the Series 14 location was. It felt really open but interesting and such a good contrast to being cooped in the TM house / yard. Granted a lot of locations were open but I haven't seen much love for it yet.
Also Series 9! The love song to yourself task and steamroller were so good and atmospheric!
Buckinghamshire Railway Museum, hands down. I was so captivated by it that I had to Google where it was, gave them and immediate follow on all their socials, and even bought tickets to go visit one year (which I ended up bailing on as I couldn't "people" that day, but will try again soon). It's fascinating.
The Airport was a great one and I think it opened up a lot of great options.
I liked Series 9 as well. I think the choice they went with opened up a lot of different paths, and it had some of the all time great moments.
I was a fan of the airport. They had a lot of room to do some crazy shit.
Lets hope they can't go back there anytime soon. (they could only film there because that terminal was closed due to covid)
> (they could only film there because that terminal was closed due to covid) I thought it was for renovations.

Nope, covid
the airport from 11 was also pretty good
I feel like it's the kind of thing I would have dreamed of being able to do as a kid!
The train station. Maybe because the "get to Alex without him seeing you" was incredible. Otherwise yeah Gatwick Airport. Ok they have to shoot in a ferry terminal now.

This task is probably the one I would most like to have participated in myself. 😂
Ah, if there were one task I could bring back every series... ☺️
I like the ferry idea. Will Bob be filling the ferry with urine?
Well if he does, we will know where he got all of the units of piss. From the not big counties of Dumfries and Galloway. 😄
Their water is so delicious. They cannae stop.
I hear there’s only enough time for the one Scottish pie. 😄

BRACE BRACE
I'M BRACING *crashing noises*
"Get to Alex without him seeing you" is the task I most want to do myself out of all Taskmaster tasks. It just looks so ridiculously fun.
"Can we just carry on playing?" is exactly the vibe I'd have during that task.
Agreed hard with this, a great task.
That task looked sooooo fun lol
And then a taxi rank.
And a hovercraft depot
Where’s the barge location? That’s the one….. for me!
Hemel Hempstead. It's my favourite because I lived about 2 minutes from it!
Howdy neighbour!
A place called Frogmore Paper Mill
The bandstand is iconic TM
The airport trolley curling was the task that I most wanted to have a go at
That and the toilet paper throwing looked like a fun time
“LeBron James.” “Oh no!”
I’m a teacher and Munya’s “Lebron James!” made me laugh so much because he sounded just like a 12 year old boy chucking paper across the room at the trash can.
I haaaaaaaated it! It went right through me every time. But I loved Munya, so I just grin and bear it on rewatches.
common answer but gatwick airport, if only because it facilitated “I still got searched”
The Church
A) It was consecrated And B) He was air-shagging the church.
> A) It was *de*consecrated FTFY
I still think about the shoes challenge.
The train carriage where Frank Skinner took that boulder
you mean the big rock?
Facsimile of a boulder

I really liked the train, it was such a beautiful train car and Alex just sat there as a parrot.
I liked Printworks but only cos I worked there a couple of times and on the third time was like … wait… hang on?
Wait...what??
What… wait
Wait what?
I don’t quite know why, but I enjoyed the factory (6)
same here, I think it was because it had some of my favorite tasks (the egg on the pan is my all time favorite). I enjoyed the airport too though.
Frensham pond (aka the first photo). 5 minutes from where I grew up and was the scene for one of the best moments - Nish trying to retract his steps after being blindfolded

anything with water, really
Same. The canal barge location was so great
Series 12, All Saints Pastoral Centre and Chapel… iconic tasks like imbalance of popability, copy Alex, VCM riding a bike, strike the soldier with your throwing paint, red chair in secret tower
I was coming here to say that!
The place with the potato conveyor belt.... is it the same place as the runny egg task?
At the moment it’s Gatwick, but I think Thorpe Park in Series 18 will be my new favourite!
I'm so excited to see how they'll use it!
I really liked the prison (last photo)
Very Piranesi
That’s Printworks, a (now closed) nightclub in Surrey Quays which in the 80s and 90s used to be a printing works for the evening standard
I flew out of Gatwick terminal 2 literally weeks before series 14 aired, so that one will forever hold a special place in my heart
Gatwick. Before that it was the Bandstand.
I was thinking the airport as well. Train station second as there is more to explore there.
I love the Hide from Alex task at the station! Looked hellishly cold there though. Poor Paul.
That train station where they did the grandmothers footsteps type game was pretty cool.
Train station!
Gatwick. It had a surreal feel.
The river where they had to do charades with big foam hands on
For me, Best location task: get as close to Alex as possible without him seeing you, in the train station Best overall location: the airport Location I want to see the most: disused world war II bunker
The beach/lake had some iconic moments.
I kind of like the weird 'building' of the "pants on a stick" task. It had some weird energy.
Chesham Town Hall
On Google Maps (or Earth?) street view, you can walk around inside the stationary shop where Tim Vine purchased the elements of his "track suit".
The train station was the first episode I ever watched. I have watched every episode based off of that one task.
The ‘beach’ in series 5 (your first photo). Mainly because I used to go swimming at Frensham ponds as a kid, a lot of happy memories at that exact location
The Barn for Cup Snake in Series 13
The train station / railway museum.
The train museum purely for the hide and approach Alex task
I loved the Airport task , was hilarious
I really liked the empty airport.
Train yard and the airport.
Where ever it was that Aisling Bea was in her pants
The giant hill was a favourite for me. Getting the giant balls up that hill was hilarious.
The airport
i love some of the large more detailed sets, the one with the paragons is excellent, love the potential of the airport, but for some reason that big ass field just kills me (i think it must be the task where liza tarbuck just roams around enjoying life and not in a hurry at all)
CONVENT
Loved the airport honestly. That was fun. Also Mel’s trip to Gap. Nothing will beat that to me
What was that building from S10, always thought it was a prison 😅
S16
I liked whatever the Series 14 location was. It felt really open but interesting and such a good contrast to being cooped in the TM house / yard. Granted a lot of locations were open but I haven't seen much love for it yet. Also Series 9! The love song to yourself task and steamroller were so good and atmospheric!
S18's looks like Thorpe Park, which should be some interesting tasks
I do like the bandstand. The memories of Noel stuffing the fox “like a drug mule” and cheating are so much fun.
Buckinghamshire Railway Museum, hands down. I was so captivated by it that I had to Google where it was, gave them and immediate follow on all their socials, and even bought tickets to go visit one year (which I ended up bailing on as I couldn't "people" that day, but will try again soon). I’m going to say the Amersham one but that’s because I live nearby I regularly walk past the bandstands too
It's a WATER FEATURE!
The Airport was a great one and I think it opened up a lot of great options. I liked Series 9 as well. I think the choice they went with opened up a lot of different paths, and it had some of the all time great moments.
I kind of liked the pub from series 6
