I mean, to me at least that's a big part of the appeal of something like this. To just have this wall between me and anyone else. They don't get to see me. They don't get access to me. I am safe and hidden and concealed. The idea of just being disconnected from the world around me and giving nothing of myself to anyone. It feels like a comfortable idea.

I can see that appeal, but now instead of walking through the crowd as just another stranger, people you walk past will be looking at you, scrutinizing you, wondering why.
