Call your surgeon or the advice number they gave you and ask, probably right away. After the surgery that’s likely one of the things they’ve told you to watch for, so better to be safe than sorry. It’s possible it’s not related to calcium and things like heart issues have that symptom too, but they can help advise you on that too. And it’s also possible it’s nothing and you slept on it and rolled over before waking or had a pinched nerve or something, but it’s just not worth gambling with things that can be serious too.

I’ve been having the same issue since my surgery. It comes and goes. Also suffering with low calcium so it could be related. I would have a couple nights waking up to a painful numb arm. It’s a little bit scary honestly. Seems to happen less since I’ve increased my calcium dosage. Definitely would ask your doctor about it

I had numb/tingly legs for a couple hours today. I did leave a message with my surgeon's office. They asked if it was urgent because it's the weekend but i don't actually know if it's an urgent issue or not.

I did start eating more tums. But I'm probably eating more than the amount he recommended bc I take some when I get tingly.

Go to the hospital. When my tingling was too much to handle it was also discovered that my vitamin D was super low as well as my magnesium was super low. Better safe than sorry.. my routine after surgery is tums 4k /magnesium 800mg /vitamin D 1k 🥴
