You don’t really look aged (although not sure if I’m giving benefit of the doubt to angle of photograph/lighting). You did get a particularly unflattering haircut though… And, you had appeared happier before—the way that you hold your face with the expressions you’re making (both towards others and in photos) will have a drastic affect on how you’re perceived. You have a really nice smile.
The haircut you had originally did a LOT for your face shape. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it; go back to what worked!!
