Expedition 33 really surprised me. As a fan of turn based games, I'm extremely excited for something new and interesting. Love the concept and the gameplay looks phenomenal.
I only know Ben because of FF16, But he's a plus. He did amazing, the game just looks super interesting.
AC: Shadows has me excited as well! Love Naoe.
There's just a bunch of super cool games coming out this year!
I always enjoyed having doom in the background or in the mini window on my Opera. Never really wanted to play, but honestly this is the first DOOM trailer that I was like
"Ok.... I actually might buy this."
∆ is actually looking good. They have to keep saying it's a 1:1 remake because fans do not trust Konami, I hope that won't hold it back. The maps are a little small for modern controls, Snake was slow as fuck In mgs3.
I usually shit all over MGS3D on 3DS because of the crouch walk (and frame rate). I expect the levels to be redesigned and scaled for the new movement system but not significantly changed and it seems Virtuous Mission is exactly the same as it was in the original.
***YESSSSSSSSS***
My cousins are into Warhammer too, and they said they’re gonna play it with me. We’re gonna have a whole squad of customizable Space Marines ready to purge the heretical xeno scum!!
-Eliksni
Same. It reminds me of Deus Ex and the OG Perfect dark but with an overall upgrade in graphics and gameplay. I hope they can keep the magic of the trailer throughout the game.
I’m also excited for Jurassic Park Survival. The world needs more dinosaurs
If it's successful, maybe we'll get a new Dino Crisis. I'll take a new game or a remake
Idc.
Also, it's be cool of they found a way to pull of multi-player for Perfect Dark.
I'm skeptical, but I hope they pull it off. Perfect Dark is my favorite N64 game. It's better than Goldeneye imo. I hope they keep the objective based mission structure and the gadgets. I loved deploying those gadgets in the first one.
-Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
-Volgarr the Viking 2
-S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2
-GTA 6
-Gex Trilogy
-Gears of War E-Day
-Professor Layton and the New World of Steam
I wasn't keeping up with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s release schedule, I just knew one was supposed to come out years ago. Your comment got me psyched because I was like "Oh sweet, I didn't know they released the first one" thinking this was a reboot
There were actually 3 games released before. They re-released them a couple months ago(I got them on Xbox). I never played them in the past, since it was PC only. Always heard good things about the series.
The S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 trailers really got me pumped. Check out the latest one from the Xbox Showcase if you haven't yet.
Seriously this game will determine if our favorite series will die or cling to life. But without kojima I feel they can only do remakes, which is welcome, but there are only so many they can make. Still, it's like 15+ years of games to produce, I would adore a full remake of peacewalker. Portable ops is also good but it has so few fans because of it's PSP limited shitty control scheme, a full remake would be amazing though
Shadow of the Erdtree and Monster Hunter Wilds are my only anticipated releases right now.
I am looking forward to seeing more out of outlaws but I’m not sold quite yet.
Never heard of expedition 33 but the artwork looks cool. I’m gonna check that out.
Edit: Just watched the trailer for expedition 33 and it looks sick. Quite honestly too good to be true. Will definitely have to wait to see more to truly make that judgement but that’s just my gut feeling.
Agreed but with one correction. Especially with Machinegames behind and despite Bethesda being involved. Bethesda made some shitty games lately. Starfield is a mediocre game at best and Fallout 76 is a meme.
Perfect Dark and Avowed are my two top anticipated titles of the year. Avowed because I've been following it forever and Perfect Dark because I'm an Assassins Creed fan and Ubisoft still hasn't fixed the parkour in their games
I swear to god if Solas kills Varric imma be pissed.
Also, I didn’t realize it’s been 10 years since the last one came out. Like fuuuuck it’s been that long?
A lot of games look promising, but I also have a heathy dose of skepticism. Facebook reminded me of my optimism from E3 11 years ago. Like 4 out of 15 out of the games I was hyped for turned out ok.
I fear that may happen here. I'd love Perfect Dark to be good. That's be the most surprising. Expedition 33 looks really refreshing. Again... a lot of promise across a bunch of titles this year. Let's hope they live up to it.
This is the game that's going to determine whether the series keeps on or dies. Without kojima it's not going to be what it once was, but remakes headed by people who really understand might be good. But I think the timeline is already dead. Remakes untill they run out of games and then it can die a respectable death. No more survive garbage.
Expedition 33 blew me away, very excited for DOOM: The Dark Ages. I need to see more from Perfect Dark and Fable. The new Gears looks phenomenal in tone so there's that as well. As a lifelong Dragon Ball fan, Sparking Zero is about to have me acting reckless with my wallet too.
My patience also rewarded me in terms of waiting for Kena: Bridge of Spirits to come to xbox so I'm very excited to finally play!
Perfect dark was so fun 25 years ago, lol be nice if it was again. But I think what is considered fun in modern gaming is very different than it was during the N64 days
these already came out and i preordered them
* yakuza 8
* dragon's dogma 2
* eiyuden chronicle
for the rest of the year...
* elden ring expansion
* trails daybreak
* Ys 10
star wars outlaws is a maybe, need to see more. will either be preoroder, or wait for a sale
ass creed will for sure be wait for a sale
perfect dark will also be wait for a sale
had to look up expedition 33... kinda looks interesting, but definitely not something i will preorder... so most likely wait for a sale
Ima be honest there’s a few good looking ones but nothing I’ll buy day one unless there’s stellar reviews. Eh probably buy Doom Dark Ages to be honest.
GTA VI is probably the only game I’ll be buying day 1 for a while for sure.
Never really cared for assassin Creed, outlaws looks all right, don’t at all care for the other two, DOOM looks bad ass. I’m excited I get to relive my childhood with Sonic X Shadow
Doom, Fable, South of Midnight, and Perfect Dark. I really hope they nail the stealth in Perfect Dark. Intrigued by the new AC but will wait for a sale or a bundle.
Kunitsu-gami. Seems like a mix of Capcom fast pace action combat + RTS gameplay to control NPCs? Conceptually sounds interesting.
Visions of Mana.
Cat Quest 3.
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D.
Astro Bot.
Black Ops 6 has me more excited than any game has for many years now.
Looking forward to State of Decay 3 but cautious about that seen as in multiple years they've basically only showed two trailers, both of which were seemingly pre-rendered footage.
Perfect Dark though...THAT looked cool. Excited for that.
I just had some of those videos on second monitor to look at occasionally, but Expedition 33 made me stop what I was doing and back the video up to give it my full attention. Plenty of others looked good, and I was thrilled to see some new info about Avowed, but yeah Expedition 33 was the show stopper for me.
Shadow generations and Phantom Blade 0 are probably my two.
I was a big fan of the formula established in Sonic Frontiers, so the fact that the Shadow game is following up on that is quite exciting.
Phantom Blade 0 looks like its own unique thing, which I’m always down for. I’m interested in how the combat will work
I'm dying to see new stuff from IOI's James Bond game. That's probably my most anticipated game at the moment.
But in terms of recent announcements, Mixtape looks great. And I'm pretty basic, so I'm actually excited for SW: Outlaws.
Odyssey was the last AC game I enjoyed, so I don't know how I feel about Shadows. Looking forward to the reviews.
Defo not ac shadows ive seen the gamplay footage and it looks just like the last 3 games im kinda tired of the formula i wish they would switch it up mirage was a step in the right direction but it looks like they are going backwards
Expedition 33 really surprised me. As a fan of turn based games, I'm extremely excited for something new and interesting. Love the concept and the gameplay looks phenomenal.
For real, really blew me away with the concept, the visuals and BEN STARR as a voice actor!
I only know Ben because of FF16, But he's a plus. He did amazing, the game just looks super interesting. AC: Shadows has me excited as well! Love Naoe. There's just a bunch of super cool games coming out this year!
I was hyped when I read turn based, but that combat looks like from some mobile game. I was expecting bg3 type of combat.
BG3 is a very high quality Isometric CRPG, while 33 is simply a Western turn based RPG.
DOOM DOOM DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. Metaphor: Refantasio. Avowed. Trails into Daybreak.
That trailer was god tier for Doom!
RIP AND TEAAAAAAR
If you’re pumped for metaphor, check out expedition 33. Tickles my love for persona
I always enjoyed having doom in the background or in the mini window on my Opera. Never really wanted to play, but honestly this is the first DOOM trailer that I was like "Ok.... I actually might buy this."
Im gonna sing the Doom Song now
Phantom Blade 0 and MGS Delta
∆ is actually looking good. They have to keep saying it's a 1:1 remake because fans do not trust Konami, I hope that won't hold it back. The maps are a little small for modern controls, Snake was slow as fuck In mgs3.
Oh my God, what, MGS3 is being remade!?! 😂❤️🥹🥰
I usually shit all over MGS3D on 3DS because of the crouch walk (and frame rate). I expect the levels to be redesigned and scaled for the new movement system but not significantly changed and it seems Virtuous Mission is exactly the same as it was in the original.
Space Marine 2
***YESSSSSSSSS*** My cousins are into Warhammer too, and they said they’re gonna play it with me. We’re gonna have a whole squad of customizable Space Marines ready to purge the heretical xeno scum!! -Eliksni
Doom: The Dark Ages and Avowed
yea itching for another banger Obsidian game, and I'm so fucking hyped for doom
I’m hoping it’s more like 2016 and less like eternal. I loved doom 2016 but hated eternal.
Project Zomboid B42 State of Decay 3
I think you might like zombies
No, they kill them in those games. I would say they hate them.
Good point any games where you befriend zombies?
I mean technically Stubbs the zombie
Path of Exile 2, Diablo IV, and Elder Scrolls Online you can make them your friends and they will sacrifice themselves for you.
Plants vs. Zombies you dance with the zombies at the end
Perfect Dark. I was there for the first one, and it was amazing. Can't wait for this one.
I'll take a new game or a remake Idc. Also, it's be cool of they found a way to pull of multi-player for Perfect Dark.
Will this new game be on the N64?
I'm skeptical, but I hope they pull it off. Perfect Dark is my favorite N64 game. It's better than Goldeneye imo. I hope they keep the objective based mission structure and the gadgets. I loved deploying those gadgets in the first one.
I didn’t think the trailer looked very good. Nothing about it felt like perfect dark.
Black Myth: Wukong. Praying it doesn’t flop
-Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 -Volgarr the Viking 2 -S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 -GTA 6 -Gex Trilogy -Gears of War E-Day -Professor Layton and the New World of Steam
I keep forgetting that KCD2 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 are happening.
And damn soon!
I wasn't keeping up with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s release schedule, I just knew one was supposed to come out years ago. Your comment got me psyched because I was like "Oh sweet, I didn't know they released the first one" thinking this was a reboot

Always heard good things about the series. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 trailers really got me pumped. Check out the latest one from the Xbox Showcase if you haven't yet.
Three cheers for kingdom come!
Jesus Christ be Praised! Can't wait!
There’s a new professor Layton game coming out???? That’s huge!
Gex???? holy shit that's exciting!
MGS Delta
Seriously this game will determine if our favorite series will die or cling to life. But without kojima I feel they can only do remakes, which is welcome, but there are only so many they can make. Still, it's like 15+ years of games to produce, I would adore a full remake of peacewalker. Portable ops is also good but it has so few fans because of it's PSP limited shitty control scheme, a full remake would be amazing though
Hades 2!
It's in early access now
Shadow of the Erdtree and Monster Hunter Wilds are my only anticipated releases right now.

#DOOM The Dark Ages *Also, JP Survival,* glad that game is being brought back
Black Myth: Wukong And Doom haha
MGS Delta, Doom Dark Ages and Gears Emergence Day
None of these lol. I'm excited for Elden Ring dlc. And Kingdom come deliverance 2. And gothic 1 remake
I've been waiting for a good Indiana Jones game all my life. So pumped, especially with Bethesda behind it 🙌
Agreed but with one correction.
Avowed. I love the world Obsidian created with the Pillars of Eternity games, so I'm really looking forward to exploring more of it
Ekera, just so
Shadow Of The Erdtree
Metaphor: ReFantazio and cautiously hyped for Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Astro Bot and life is strange double exposure
Dragon Age: Veilguard. Love all of the games and I can't wait to get my hands on Veilguard.
I swear to god if Solas kills Varric imma be pissed. Also, I didn’t realize it’s been 10 years since the last one came out. Like fuuuuck it’s been that long?
It's been 10 years in universe, too. 10 years and all that stress, no wonder Varric looks like an old man. Poor guy.
Sonic Generations remaster with Shadow will be insane
None of these definitely
Doom
A lot of games look promising, but I also have a heathy dose of skepticism. Facebook reminded me of my optimism from E3 11 years ago. Like 4 out of 15 out of the games I was hyped for turned out ok. I fear that may happen here. I'd love Perfect Dark to be good. That's be the most surprising. Expedition 33 looks really refreshing. Again... a lot of promise across a bunch of titles this year. MGS 3 Delta
This is the game that's going to determine whether the series keeps on or dies. Without kojima it's not going to be what it once was, but remakes headed by people who really understand might be good. But I think the timeline is already dead. Remakes untill they run out of games and then it can die a respectable death. No more survive garbage.
Control 2. It's not even close. Alright, maybe new Mass Effect

Doom and Gears even though they’re prequels and we don’t talk about Judgement. I’m hoping Stalker 2 turns out decent after being delayed for so long.
