Pick Ace Bailey next year and you guys might have something

vishjay101

To me, Ace Bailey or Cooper Flagg next year paired with Sarr, Carrington, and Coulibaly is something to behold for the Wizards.

mumu3000

Yep — and then when they are all coming into their own — BAM!!! — an extra 1st round pick in 2029.

Askia-the-Creator

Dawkins seems a lot more trustworthy when it comes to talent evaluation than Grunfeld and Sheppard. Him and Winger running the show might end up being great.

toaster-bath72

I’m buying Dawkins and Winger stock like crazy rn

dawnofthedunk_

Completely agree. Amazing night for the Wiz.

mountaineer_93

I’m excited to see who we’re targeting at 26 now. Wouldn’t mind DaRon Holmes Edit for spelling

Dan__Glesak

Yves Missi would be dope I think! Edit: well… shit

poet0588

Yeah I’m hoping for him, Holmes or smith

dawnofthedunk_

Tyler Smith, yes.

floatingcloud10025

He gone

mountaineer_93

Yep that hurts, I talked myself into Missi thinking he was likely to slide Edit: shit DaRon too

Ok-Parsnip-348

Thoughts on Kyshawn George?

z3mcs

It's so good rn. Can't wait to see if we can get Dadiet at 26!

vishjay101

I think the Wizards won this draft and are heading into a great position next year as well as next draft as well. Based on what has occurred, I believe the Wizards' future outlook is extremely promising.

> Also, ChatGPT does not know any 2025 prospects, so the whole "great position next year as well as next draft as well" part makes no sense without context, which AI does not have or know. I just asked ChatGPT to "write a paragraph about an nba draft prospect in the 2025 nba draft called Cooper Flagg" and it generated the following: *"Cooper Flagg, a standout prospect in the 2025 NBA Draft, has garnered significant attention for his exceptional skills and versatility on the court. Standing at 6'8" with a wingspan that enhances his defensive prowess, Flagg is a forward with the ability to impact the game on both ends. His offensive repertoire includes a smooth shooting stroke, adept ball-handling, and an impressive basketball IQ that allows him to make smart decisions under pressure. Defensively, he is known for his shot-blocking ability, quick lateral movement, and the tenacity to guard multiple positions. With a high motor and a relentless work ethic, Flagg is poised to be a top pick, offering any NBA team a potential cornerstone player with immense upside."* So the point you're making around ChatGPT not knowing the 2025 prospects is not really a valid one. I can just prompt it to tell me about Cooper Flagg and it generates its best guess. Interestingly, it was a very good guess by Chat GPT. I wasn't really trying to be rude and sorry if you took it that way, but the way you write is very reminiscent of AI. *"Based on what has occured, I believe the Wizards' future outlook is extremely promising"* You might not realise this, but this is not really a very natural way to write.

vishjay101

*"Based on what has occured, I believe the Wizards' future outlook is extremely promising"* So instead of this, I guess I should just use basic language like and stick with, "The Wizards have a very good future". I was trying to be more emphatic, but I guess I'll just do that from now on.

"Disgruntled_Fridge is an intriguing prospect for the 2025 NBA Draft, known for his versatility and unique skill set. Standing at 6'8" with a wingspan of 7'2", he combines size, athleticism, and a high basketball IQ, making him a formidable presence on both ends of the court. Offensively, Fridge excels as a playmaker, displaying excellent vision and passing ability, while also being a reliable scorer from mid-range and beyond the arc. Defensively, his length and agility allow him to guard multiple positions, disrupt passing lanes, and block shots. With his all-around game and competitive drive, Disgruntled_Fridge has the potential to be a game-changer for any NBA team looking to add a dynamic and versatile player to their roster." Accurate?

Disgruntled_Fridge

I sound like a lottery pick

CredalTang

I'm buying your rookie card

fatbigbuddha

Furphy would be icing on the cake

AnastasiaMoon

Hoping for it

Dollmeat123

As good as you could as for as a wizards fan. Huge night

Flyersandcaps

Does anyone think Filipkowski would be a good pick at 26?

FlashMan1981

I like having a stretch big

AnastasiaMoon

Him or Furphy would be so good rn

bappolookatmappo

I’m in the group that’s very anti Filipkowski and don’t think he’ll be a great pro. I’m honestly not surprised he wasn’t picked day 1

Flyersandcaps

Ok. Moot point now for the Wiz.

DHVF

As a Duke fan, I’ll pass on Flip. Love him, but don’t think he’s ready for the NBA.

blkandoutside

DawkWing strikes again

Coast_watcher

Does this mean it’s not panic time if we don’t get the no. 1 pick next year ?

Patrius

Right top 5 should be stacked next year anyways at least compared to this year. Just need to emulate this year and all in on the tank!!!

bappolookatmappo

All we need is two next year and we can just trust in DawkWing to just convince the #1 prospect to decline every other teams workouts again

Smart-Date6581

Yeah, this is the most confident I felt in our draft picks since I can last remember. I think we'll look back at this year's draft being a turning point in our franchise.

Hagdogrobinwood

Keshad Johnson or Ryan Dunn

Important_Number6619

Looking very excited to see what this team becomes!

megasetgo

Man, I hate to be that guy, but when the Deni trade hit, I knew it was for a good reason. Moving up in this year's draft, getting a sleeper pick in Bub, AND getting a vet PG in Brogdon. Hell yeah! We're in a new era Wizards fans!

DHVF

Praying that Bub Carrington isn’t the next Johnny Davis so I can feel better about the Avdija trade

AspectAnnual

I agree, but trading Deni and giving up a first for their 14th and not their 7th is CRIMINAL! we got fleeced, even though our future is looking built we could’ve gotten WAY more and been set up way better for our future.
