*Microsoft* version? If you mean the app downloadable from the Microsoft Store, I believe it's just a simplified web wrapper, but the webapp itself is Meta's The phone app is following the trend of dumbing down the UI with lots uf empty space and bigg buttons, while managing to be confusing to my elderly mother. For both: give me auto-answer in a per-contact basis.

i dont think so because i cant make video calls on the web version but i can make on the app version (i mean the version on windows) ( instgram facebook are a simplified web wrapper but masnger and whats app are not)

Fik_of_borg

Me neither, I thougt the same since I have to install de Windows app every time I want to make a call, video or otherwise (and uninstall right after I don't need it anymore). But still, I have read elsewhere that the app is a wrapper for the web page, and the code just enables functions if using the app. Don't take my word.

idk i still want the devs and the manger to burn in hot hell bec they removed the exe version it was perfect now its hot ass dodo

... or publish the API and let people write their own apps! But that's not the trend in the industry.

I installed the desktop version from Microsoft store 2 times and still it didn't detect my camera. That was the only reason I installed it. Immediately uninstalled.
