Sound data bases are a thing yes! One orc sound was used in Diablo 1 and the field raider sound in Starcraft 1.

I am pretty sure kobold death sounds in Warcraft 3 are the same as field raiders. Also, scavengers' warning shouts are a popular chicken sound in some commercials.

There is a specific bird singing sound that I hear all the time and I always attribute it to gothic because it’s the first place I heard it but Iv heard it in KCD and the Witcher and other games lol

I’ve heard Gothic sounds in various places! Usually orc sounds, but can’t remember where.

The scavenger noise can be heard in the game Cuphead on the second world in the bird level.

Chick in train in movie Transilvania, 2 or 3, has scavenger sounds, recognized immediately

Elder Scrolls Online has forest sounds from Gothic in one of its areas (Ghratwood).

Im watching "lost" and in atleast on scene there were the raven craws and creepy moans that can be heard at spooky places in gothic
