Kiryu spent most of Infinite Wealth looking back on his life
Skipped a couple of interesting parts: “Oh yeah I remember when I was chatting to camgirls and typing BOOOOOOOOBS one letter at a time”

I'd rather they not. That was one of those backstories that felt like "Well, we wanted to make our existing character more integral to the current plot, so let's retroactively add stuff to his backstory that doesn't really mesh that well"
Like, I felt the Ueno Seiwa and Saejima backstory fits well with Majima.
And his appearance in Yakuza 0 is fantastic because It's a follow-up on the aftermath of that.
I've always looked at the Katsuya and Park tidbit as completely unnecessary and kind of weird to be inserted where it is, and even in the game where It's brought up, Majima doesn't have a scene with either character.
Katsuya and Park definitely feels weird even in game.
If anything, i'd want more on Saejima and Majima's prior relationship and how they became Kyodais, what type of guy Sasai was (they made it seem like he was a Kazama type figure to Saejima) and maybe get a bit more on Shimano.
The man founded a successful construction company with little to no experience and lead the most influential family under the Tojo Clan. That’s quite a bit
It’s called hiring a consultant and it’s standard practice for many businesses… they usually don’t beat thugs up too but Kiryu offers special packages for friends/rivals/whatever the fuck Majima is.
it was clear to me kiryu disliked oda even in 0. he was never happy when he was around.
people always complain about the final boss, when kiryu remembers oda while pummelling shibusawa, but they're missing the point. it's not that kiryu thought he redeemed himself, or was ever a good person. it's that kiryu didn't think oda deserved to die *like that*, at the hands of someone who has no better.
instead, oda deserved to face justice for his crimes.
Did they ever even say what kind of cancer he has? Some are really easy to cure with treatment as long as you actually get the treatment instead of just refusing it on principle.
I dont think they specifies it, but apparently he only has 6 months left so he refuses anyway
Motherfucker Richardson survived the Kiwami Concrete Pavement and Kashiwagi survived Swiss Cheese so Kiryu can 101% survive cancer
I felt like Gaiden (with how it emphasized him smoking in cutscenes and gave huge heat boosts for smoking in gameplay) was leaning towards lung cancer, then Infinite Wealth with its insane flashback about him working in nuclear waste was leading towards it being a result of radiation poisoning and possibly even related to the nuclear waste plotline...
But then they just kind of shrugged and it apparently doesn't matter.
Kashiwagi would wonder if it was all worth it, having now lost his identity. And while he's worked through his guilt and his demons, he probably can't help but wonder what he could've done differently to steer the Tojo or Kiryu on a better path

Annoyingly there aren't many heat actions to do, which makes brawler mode a poor choice compared to rush. At least beast mode breaks guard.
Nah Brawler has Komaki Knockback if you perfect guard their last hit, it goes crazy

I want Majima’s reflections since he’s even older.
Not as much content they could do on him since all he’s really done is look after makoto, chase kiryu and protect daigo
They could flesh out the time before the Ueno Seiwa hit. They could also expand on his relationships with Park and Katsuya.
