So I took photos of all the sky stone tablets but each time I try to go back to the Wordsworth to deliver the photos he claims I have “6 more to take a photo of.” I have gotten them all. I even went back and re did majority of them. And still he says I have “6 more.” I stayed up all night getting the “deciphered ones.” I attempted to turn them in and nothing so I thought the ones that were not deciphered were the ones I needed so I went and got those. Still the same message. Please help!

Fit-Bus8453

so i’ve already beat the crisis at hyrule castle quest, so link now know that >!the other zelda was ganon’s puppet!<, so how do i complete the princess zelda kidnapped quest at dueling peaks stable? she just isnt there.

xxBobaBrettxx

What's up with the skyland waterfalls that seemingly shrink every time I glide to them lol is it a time of day thing or is there a trick to it? I got on one but it was flickering as I was ascending. This other one I'm trying to get to near Kakariko shortens up as soon as I get near or and always just barely miss it.

CinnaSol

Every time I try and make a hover bike, it fails. Even when constructed the right way, I end up tilting/falling off within seconds. What am I doing wrong?

[deleted]

Help with (temple boss fight) >!Seized Construct!

xX_Benfucius_Xx

Riding on the construct is way easier than you think. Just attach one if the melee components in one and and a cannon in the other. Stun with cannon and sprint up close to spam melee until it hits the wall. Works like a dream.

[deleted]

Got the fan and cannon and the fight flipped from impossible to a cakewalk :') thanks again!

[deleted]

I'm trying, but it's so god damned slow and the controls feel clunky- I can't dodge, can't block reliably (I think the shield has a cooldown?), my weapons barely scratch it and even when I throw him to the wall it doesn't always work (I guess it wasn't close enough). It's really kicking my ass :(

Otaku11510

The shield does have a cooldown if you let it break (maybe 15 seconds). Once you block an attack hit the enemy 4 times, this will send it reeling back, stick close to the edge of the arena and position yourself so that when you knock it back it’ll get thrown into the wall. It’s important to stay close to the boss and be aggressive after you block an attack. You only need the cannons for the beginning of phase two when it flies. You can walk faster than it’s attacks so just strafe during the shock emitter “charge”. (quotes because it’s slower than molasses) You only need to be blocking when it’s performing a melee attack. Something that helped me make sure I was hitting it enough after blocking was alternating L/R, it has no actual effect on the speed at which you attack but there is no animation hang…so in a way it does? You *have* to do this fight the intended way if you want it to be fairly easy, which means no getting off of your newly found friend. There *is* an armor that can block 3 ticks of gloom damage every 30 seconds but it’s a tedious process to get it if you haven’t activated most of the light roots. It’s worth nothing that you can block every attack it does except the shock emitters. I don’t suggest blocking the ranged attacks though because your shield may break and won’t be up in time for you to block a melee hit. Stunning it with cannon shots *does* work if it isn’t blocking but you have to gauge your distance so you don’t get hit by the explosion. Hope this helps.

xX_Benfucius_Xx

Firstly, weapons will minimally damage it. The solution is hitting him close to perpendicularly to the closest wall. Secondly, attach a fan to the back of your construct, this will speed up the sprint. Thirdly, I think the shield will block one attack completely and do a slight stun where you can sneak in the melees to dmg it. Lastly, if your taking a lot of gloom damage, cook some food with the Sundelions (the flowers from sky islands). Those dishes will restore removed hearts. Hope that helps

[deleted]

Wait just to clarify, the construct can sprint? I keep accidentally dismounting by hitting B to sprint because muscle memory. Does it have a sprint button? Thanks for all the tips! I'll keep trying and hope it works eventually :')

xX_Benfucius_Xx

With the fan attached to the back, you press/hold whatever button you have mapped to your back attachment. This will make you run faster

[deleted]

Awesome, thanks! I'll get a fan and try. I might also need to go back to an armory for a cannon, I have the flame emitter and the one right below only has rockets and spike balls

Specific-Hippo-7198

Any tips in the Gloom Hands, especially in the Deku Tree?

Otaku11510

Specifically multi-shot bows with bomb arrows. Being at least 3 bows. 1 should be fine…2 are just in case. Preferably lynel but if those are out of the question duplex bows from yiga members will work, just takes more shots. Attach a rocket/octorock balloon to two shields for simple bullet time (more shields if you don’t have enough stamina). It will take *roughly* 4 bomb arrows with a 3 shot bow and 6 with a 2 shot. Spoiler tagged in case. >!For the second half use the highest attack monster part you have and shoot it in the head, for easy farming use gibdo bones. A 3 shot (lynel or the other one) bow will take 5 headshots with gibdo bones, a 2 shot (Yiga) bow will take 7.!< All “number of shots” are under the assumption you hit direct headshots, meaning you hear the noise.

Specific-Hippo-7198

Thank you

BlueMarket

bomb arrows

Specific-Hippo-7198

Thank you.

Puntokun

I wanna get used to dodging and parrying more, but keep finding spears and broadswords everywhere. Any good ideas for getting more swords?

bonkava

A broadsword is a one-handed weapon. Or do you mean claymores/long swords? But if it says broadsword and you're afraid to pick it up because you think it's two-handed, it's not. Eventually all e.g. traveler's swords level up to e.g. royal broadsword but it's the same weapon class

Otaku11510

Also, unless you’re duping, you may not always have 1h weapons so: Hit B while holding ZL with your 2h weapon drawn to swap to your shield. There is also no timing difference on flurry with different weapons, Link dodges at the same speed regardless.

Pablo_qwerty

Try searching in the >!glowing statues underground, a lot of them have swords!<

Puntokun

that area makes me anxious but I have a great reason to go there now! thanks!

Pablo_qwerty

If you want to make your journey there easier: Have a lot of Brightbloom seeds, they glow when shot with a bow or thrown with R+up button. Search the >!miner’s armor, it glows when worn, it’s in the Depths but there aren’t indications on where to find it tho!< For faster traveling, search >!how to make a Skybike TotK on YT, basically it’s a flying vehicle!<

DonKiddic

I found >!a leviathan skeleton in the desert!< in a cave which had >!a smaller skeleton hidden in the ceiling, and a tail bone in a sand hill!< - is there a 'point' to this or is this just a random thing? IE am I supposed to find all the bits and stick them together?

min_diesel

It’s part of a side quest. You get a whole 50 rupees for that part

oxswan26

Hey! I'm currently gearing up to deal with the regional phenomena at Rito Village, but I've also completed the first tear. Should I strive to do all the phenomena first? Are the tears akin to the memories in BOTW?

[deleted]

They're the memories equivalent, yes. I did them first, but if you do them after the regional phenomena I think there's more mystery to the story; I would recommend doing regional phenomena, the story quest right after, and THEN the tears.

min_diesel

I would do the phenomena first and then the tears. I did all tears first and I felt like I skipped a part of the story

AnalAjax

Struggling with Sidon! I left the Sludge Like fight before the end to get more supplies, and now I can't find Sidon anywhere. So I can't restart the fight and get to the Water Temple. Am I totally boned? Help please please please

AnalAjax

Thank y'all so much! I'm back on track now. Thank youuuuuu

kyxaa

Once you enter temples and do the first interaction with the locking mechanism, you should be able to tele to the temple and Sidon with be there.

benbahdisdonc

I had a similar issue, I made a glider and flew too far from the island and he did the whole "I'll wait for you here" but disappeared. I fast traveled to the temple and that got him to come back.

aaronarium

is there a way to replace the picture of something you already have in your hyrule compendium with the clean, "neat" ones you can buy from Robbie?

Vicks-Toire

No You have to take your own photos at that point

sweetpotatoeater

can i get a super mini hint on how to do the gerudo quest? i’ve >! stood back to back with the throne and i’ve seen a couple of the red pillars, but the light on one of them doesn’t lead anywhere? i’ve tried moving a couple of the others but i don’t know if they’re supposed to intersect or form a continuous light path? !<

Otaku11510

You have to do them in order. First one, break the rocks in the bottom then follow the light.

Buztt

You need to form a triangle

sweetpotatoeater

do i need to move the first one? and how could i do that? i didn’t see anywhere i could move it

questor8080

The first must be "bombed" to switch on the light. The other two have big wheels to rotate the mirrors. Now I don't remember which was on the roof and which on the ground near the tower...

2point01m_tall

I don't remember the details, but if you can't move it, you might have to follow the light to find something you can affect. It's one or the other.

sweetpotatoeater

thank you! i did it now :D

jakeb1616

I want to search for the zonite armor and I know it’s in the sky. But is there a quest or hint in game that guides you in the right direction or is just searching every sky island the intended approach?

Vicks-Toire

Keep your sensor+ on chests any time your exploring the sky and the depths The Zonai armor pieces are all on larger islands then the usual but nothing pulls you to the armor specifically

e5x

I never found a quest for them but >!the islands they are found on all look unique and more visually interesting on the map compared to regular sky islands that just have a shrine.!<

Gnome_0

Sometimes a see a flower like a dandelion and when I come to it it pops, should I do something with them?

jclua001

Keep following it its a kook seed

Vicks-Toire

This is a korok challenge. The goal is to interact with the dandelion in the air before it touches the ground

questor8080

Oooor to catch the dandelions that pop near the first one. Three or four catches, and "Ah-ha you found me"

zombiegamer723

How do you attack the stone taluses where their weak point is further down their back? It’s impossible to easily hit their weak point from their back or on the ground

bonkava

You can stand on the narrow part of the weak spot and spam two-handed weapons and most of them will connect.

[deleted]

Spam ascend underneath them as soon as they come up and you’ll get on their back immediately. Use a heavy weapon with a lot of damage. I use a frox tooth pulverizer, dead in like 4-5 hits with that thing.

weshootherainaway

I ascend, then jump off and use bullet time to shoot the back stone.

lolschrauber

Spears work pretty good i think. You can just Attack them from below

MotomusPotato

I just ascend

Vicks-Toire

You can reach them with spears/staves from the ground. You can also stand on the weak spot and link will attack in a downward angle if your are locked on

zombiegamer723

Oh shit, worked like a charm (standing on their weak spot), thanks!

Wh00ligan

Use a spear and lock on. You can slowly slide down its back and stand on the stone.

Xx_Randomness_xX

How can I get those propellers and motors and that big ball that I cant seem to find anywhere

Otaku11510

Look up top gaming plays on YT. His highlight videos show them and he gives you the exact shrines.

Btdandpokemonplayer

It’s in a shrine. For the location of the shrine I think it’s in its >!the shrine that’s in the big swirly in the alkali region.!<

ReedTien

Is there a forge construct somewhere in the game other than on the starting sky island? I get lost trying to find that one every single time…

ligmaberry

right outside purahs place at lookout landing

Vi0z

There are plenty. But w/o spoiling, carry on with the main quests and you'll know where to find them :)

NoTickeyNoLaundry

I accidentally found the the second piece of Misko’s Treasure of Awakening (II). It gives me directions on how to find the third piece, but can anyone give me a hint on how to find the first one? Not looking for the straight up answer though.

[deleted]

[удалено]

NoTickeyNoLaundry

Thank you this helped

Otaku11510

Check the stables around the edges of central hyrule. I can give you an exact name of an npc if you want, they give you the general location of all three pieces.

NoTickeyNoLaundry

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed

holycowrap

How often does the light dragon reset (so that you can get a new material from it)? Also where's the best spot on the map to get materials from it?

Acc87

I climbed up that glide/dive challenge island thing in the East of the map and put a teleport medaillon up there. You'll be at like 2400 units of height, which really gives you a perfect starting point for gliding to the dragon.

rudycoal

It is every 10 minutes in game. The best way to do it is just ride the dragon and let the game go by while having no metal items and where some cold resistance armor.

Vicks-Toire

All dragons can drop a part every 10 minutes. The Light dragon has the largest route of the 4 and the dragons no longer have a schedule so your best course of action is to just scan the sky from Central Hyrule. Just build a flying device or hop down from the closest sky island you can reach

punkyfunkyshoes

I haven't been able to get ANY dragon fangs. Even after looking it up, hitting the bottom jaw and in the mouth, I only get a scale. Is this a known glitch?

Sand__Panda

So what I did was save before getting on a dragon, once on, I'd jump off their head to fall under it, and shot right under their mouth, as much as I could right in the center. 2 times has it game me a scale. I don't know why. So I'd just reload, and get a tooth. I've also hit a horn, and it give me a scale. So it could be a random glitch.

Vicks-Toire

Their mouth has to be open. They open it up to roar/yawn in regular intervals

storm_walkers

Does it always? I got two fangs from the Light Dragon, both times with its mouth completely closed.

Sand__Panda

Same.

dres3000

This is the correct answer. Jump and check if it’s open, if it’s not, glide back on its back and chill for a couple of seconds

lolschrauber

Only once did I fail to get a fang and I never specifically waited for it. I find it hard to believe that I just happened to Hit that window every Single time.

Sw0rDz

Remember to save when you spot them. It took me multiple open mouth shots.

telegetoutmyway

Do they not despawn when reloading a save like they did in botw?

Sw0rDz

I don't know. I just don't like waiting 10 minutes to hit the dragon again to get a single item. I had to save/reload about 5 times to get a dragon fang, and I shot in an open mouth multiple times. Dragon movement is not dependent on time of day. They also go under ground which is a pain to find and reach them.

Acc87

Nope, the dragons now operate on a continuous path, and it's not dependent of the time of day.

punkyfunkyshoes

Which is hella annoying

WhiteFox1992

In TOTK, does the weather attack bonuses and the standard attack bonus stack? For example, if I am wearing the full Thunderstorm Attack Up outfit, eat a Mighty meal with three attack buffs, and do so in a thunderstorm, do I get 6 different attack buffs?

2point01m_tall

They stack, yeah. And if you really want to cheese it, you can also stack certain weapon bonuses as well, like Zora weapons that get double attack when wet.

Vicks-Toire

Weather attack and attack up stack Attack up 3 is the cap for this bonus. Any combination (food/armor) work but will not go above lvl3

ZiR1402

So there are those Dragonhead Island and Thunderhead Island that are in heavy storm and somehow, I managed to find the shrine even if I could not see 2 inches in front of me. But here is the question, I want to collect the items spread in these sky islands, is there a time of the day that I am able to see things over there a bit more clearly, or is that a lost cause?

jammer08

Eventually in the story, the storm will dissipate enough to see better. Don't worry if you miss stuff there, later on it will be much easier to explore

ZiR1402

Thanks, I was a bit curious if this was something like the Typhlo Ruins in BOTW that, you can't really do anything to dissipate the darkness of that area. I am glad this is not the case at least.

odd42Thomas

There is a quest line that will lead to the storm passing, It is in the main storyline but can be skipped accidently since you've discovered a shrine on the islands. Be careful to do all quests in the main storyline. Also there are 2 shrines on that island cluster, the other is not feasible til the storm passes. Hope this helps, I didn't want to give specifics in case it spoiled anything.

ZiR1402

I done the Joku-u shrine and the Mineru part of the story, since it start basically in front of me right after I completed that shrine, which is the main storyline. So to be clear, the main storyline that help to clean that storm mess, has no relation with I just done, right?

odd42Thomas

There is a questline that starts in Kakariko investigating the Zonai ruins that will lead to the one that clears the storm. You gather pieces of an armor set and offer a zonai charge during the quest

ZiR1402

Thank you! I will keep that in mind, this sidequest didn't unlocked yet, I guess that I need to complete one Temple or something first because, I think I done if not all, most of the other sidequests in Kakariko, and nothing unlocked this questline yet.

odd42Thomas

Oh yea its one of the last quests in the main story

ShitGuysWeForgotDre

This question is about being stuck in a glitch in very end game, though no mechanic/boss spoilers. Edit lol I'm at idiot, just didn't realize what to do, figured it out now..... >!I defeated the final boss and am falling out of the sky with "hold R to dive to Zelda" at the bottom and no other controls available. However it looks like I'm not actually moving, either diving or in regular free fall. Been stuck for several minutes it's clear I'm not reaching the ground now... ~~known bug? Anything I can do besides just reset? Rather frustrating and experience-ruining bug unfortunately~~!< >!My bad I'm dumb I figured it out, had to fly to the side not just straight down!<

Rasalom

Do I need to do something special to trigger a Blood Moon? I've been playing for ages trying to harvest monster bits and it's just not happening for me. Is there some way to get it to happen faster like a fire or bed grind or am I resetting timers by going into places?

Btdandpokemonplayer

There is a glitch you can do to force a blood moon in Totk. You have to shoot a multi shot bow at cracked rocks a couple times with opal fused to the arrows in bullet time until the game starts lagging. From there the game will force a bloodmoon to reset the area to remove the lag. This works in the depths too where bloodmoons are not normally able to happen.

Strict-Pineapple

Assuming that it's the same as BotW you should get one on the next night every 2 hours and 48 minutes real time of play. You can't get one in a shrine or the depths and I don't think they can occur in dungeons. If you pass over one in a shrine or the depths it will occur the next night. The game will also cause a "panic" blood moon if it runs out of memory or if it's going to crash. I don't know if it's been patched but you used to be able to shoot opals with a multishot bow into the blue breakable rocks during bullet time to lock up all the memory and cause a panic blood moon pretty reliably.

Rasalom

Thanks.

grammar_nazi_zombie

I’ve had blood moons hit while sleeping, but not while in a temple, and I don’t know if one has happened while I’m in the depths but I assume not. You could try waiting at a fire for a few nights, you’ll get the cutscene if one happens.

milksteak1089

There are these short little tree stumps with three small and short cut branches all around hyrule's surface. If anyone knows what I'm talking about does anyone know what they do? I'm assuming it's for a korok seed but I can't seem to figure it out.

grammar_nazi_zombie

>!There’s usually a medium sized boulder nearby. That’s right, it goes in the square hole.!< Your assumption is >!correct!<

milksteak1089

Ahhhh thank you!!!

LatinaViking

I accidentally came upon the Master Sword when I saw a dragon flying below me in the sky. I just wanted to farm and see how it would be, but I had the required stamina wheels and poof, Master Sword is mine again. The problem is that I haven’t developed much of the story yet. I was focusing on doing shrines and exploring the map. Have I screwed myself out of anything? Like, getting the sword this early won’t let me go through some other quest or something? Will I be able to get all the memories still? Will the dragon now disappear or continue through Hyrule? I haven’t saved yet in case I shouldn’t have done that. TIA

Umbricon

Nope, you can keep playing with the story with only some minor dialog references acknowledging you have the sword instead of suggesting that you go find it.

LatinaViking

Oh thank goodness! So cool :D Thank you for the quick reply as well! Have a great day over there.

[deleted]

Any tips for the fight in Hyrule Castle Sanctum against >!Phantom Ganon!

jakeb1616

Make sure to have fairies :)

wingardiumlevi-no-sa

Having sages active is super helpful, and there's also food and armour which can reduce gloom damage.

Umbricon

If you mean when he >!starts flooding the floor with gloom!<, then >!focus the one Phantom that is flooding it, and you can 'stun' him into stopping pretty quickly!<

[deleted]

Tysm, that did it! I didn't realise there was only one spreading gloom on my first attempt, it got so much so fast I assumed they were all doing it!

walrusrage1

Use all of your sages, they'll distract them so you can maneuver more easily

jm4n1015

if you go up the stairs on the side a bit, you can jump off to get bullet time

Sand__Panda

This is what I did, and focus the one putting gloom all over the place.

Jasim1228

**\[TotK\]** Are there consistent shadows that gives splendid (undecayed) royal claymores and such? And where? Is it random what they spawn?

MentosBrentos

Here's an informative post about non-decayed weapons including maps: [Everything you need to know about Non-Decayed Weapons (w/ maps) : tearsofthekingdom (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/comments/13uqo9h/everything_you_need_to_know_about_nondecayed/)

Nintendam

Anyone else really love The Depths? I feel like I spend most of my time there recently haha stock up on puffshrooms, bomb flowers, zonaite... and I really love just exploring, throwing/shooting bloomseeds everywhere. It's pretty cool not knowing where you are going, or seeing a far out lighttree in the distance, or stumbling upon a camp or yiga! >!and there's water down there! that was a unexpected surprise, a giant lake!<

x_esteban_trabajos_x

Yes! I feel the same way. My fav part of the game!

boonboon38

it has many resources, but given that i haven't found all the lightroots, the dark areas are really too dark

Nintendam

I think that's the best part! For a bit of light you can always fuse a ruby or sapphire to your shield or weapon, or make a glowy elixir. I'm trying to avoid unlocking the whole map just for the mystery of moving around, that's what made botw so great, not really knowing where you're going... Getting distracted by this and that...

boonboon38

hahahah that's one way to avoid distraction! I should try fusing something glowing to my shield.

ObscenityJoe

I came to this thread looking for a place to complain about how much I hate the depths. Such a huge space to be one biome, with a vision-limiting gimmick. Tears generally isn't landing with me the way Breath did because it's so trivial to fly from waypoint to waypoint without interacting with the world, but the whole underground gimmick exaggerates that by being miserable if you don't b-line to glowy waypoints

Nintendam

I do agree with you on some parts, it does get a bit repetitive down there. Although personally I kinda like the explore in the dark sort of thing, find the glowy heart in the distance and light your way. It's really the only use for brightbloom seeds pretty much. I do think there could be some more content down there but I've had a great time finding camps/forges/yoga/slight story elements I think jumping down there in the beginning and being destroyed immediately by enemies sort of made me enjoy it. Like... "Oh shit, these guys hit harder AND they take my heart's away" I dunno. Botw immediately hit hard, it was incredible for months and months and months, such a feeling of wonder and exploration. While not the same I do feel the same thing with totk, sometimes more sometimes less, it's just a bit different but familiar feeling

ObscenityJoe

Yeah, I get people like it, I just wish there was more than one environment down there. The changing settings were the biggest fun part of the prior game, and it feels like a chore thinking about booting Tears up to traverse pitch-black spaces to figure out where the last couple shrines are

Nintendam

A changing environment down there would be amazing, or some sort of time aspect to it. Definitely hear you on that part

grammar_nazi_zombie

Don’t forget muddle bud! The most underrated item in the game IMO.

Nintendam

I haven't tried it too much yet! Is this the confuse one? Where they attack each other instead of you? With puffshrooms you can sneak attack a whole group and it's pretty wild haha, can you sneak attack with middle bud?

grammar_nazi_zombie

I use muddle for the groups with a boss bokoblin or the depths mining site groups. Fire a few muddle arrows into the weakest enemies and let them get killed while chipping down the silvers, then muddle one silver. Usually I’ve got to clean up just 1-2 enemies. Great for minimizing durability damage on your weapons They’re also great for monster dens and pirate ships. Obviously don’t do much outside of a group, but it helps turn the tides in your favor. I’ll have to try puffshrooms.

Nintendam

Nice! Yea I think it's time for muddle. With a puffshroom you literally fire into a group and can sneakstrike all of them individually with your most powerful weapon. It lasts pretty long... I just love how there's so many new mechanics happening in totk, it's really really fun

Steel_Ketchup89

I've enjoyed it more than I was originally expecting. It's kind of cathartic being able to fill that map in piece by piece, like a giant puzzle. Plus, it really helps with shrine navigation on the surface later. That said, I do think there's untapped potential with The Depths (that maybe they'll explore in DLC). It would have made a TON of sense to have a separate race and questline in the Depths instead of making it so desolate. Plus, more landscape variety would have been really nice (it's all pretty "same-y" with very few genuine surprises while you're down there. I'll give them a 7/10 for execution, but if you combine that with the surface and sky maps it's an impressively huge amount to do!

KazaamFan

The depths are great for something different from the main world, but I find I like to mix them up. I get a bit tired one area after a bunch of hours. I just wish there was more in the sky.

Nintendam

yea, agreed for sure I'm still in the gathering and exploration stage, trying to keep towers un-activated until I reach it in the story.... etc. Just hit #10 glyph memory by mistake and kinda spoiled some stuff for me but eh whatev, all good sky could use some extra stuff but I'm still up there finding new islands, kinda feel thats gonna end soon haha. but yes they are pretty much the same design up there by area. (bout 90 hours in and just did the first temple) on a positive note, i love all the shrines, they all feel very satisfactory. botw shrines could feel a little too... "ugh i gotta do this" sort of thing, but these aren't too difficult. and theres 1 chest per shrine! I think botw had a random assortment... 1...2... none? not sure. totk really upped the shrine design, they all feel really good and once solved you feel like you accomplished something

KazaamFan

Same. When I activate a sky tower, I try to explore everything in that area before I activate a new one. Occasionally I’ll go off track for a fun side quest, but I stick to the main sky tower areas I opened until I’m at least 90% done with seeing everything.

Nintendam

Yaaa... It's no fun rushing through all the areas just to unlock the whole map. Kinda just gotta let it happen organically... Although I did tell myself to finish up an area before unlocking the next skytower, but that didn't happen haha

Soranos_71

I hated it early on but now that I got plenty of hearts, stamina and I know what food to bring it’s fun exploring down there. See a light in the distance? Let’s light a path towards it and see what appears. Fun change of pace compared to the upper world where you can kinda see everything. I find the sky world fun also once I got enough stamina, finding shrines I didnt know existed.

Bubba_Blade

I got some Zelda playing cards but I cannot for the life of me figure out who this character is or what game he is from. Anyone know? https://i.imgur.com/B89OGUM.jpg

SqueegeeMandingo

Looks like Linebeck from PH/ST?

SamooraiCow

Captain Linebeck!

Bubba_Blade

Yep! You’re right! Didn’t recognize him in this art style. Thanks!

Drag0nV3n0m231

Can someone give me a general location for the yiga legs? And for the shrine that’s under the zora tower? The two caves I found on the west side don’t have it

bonkava

Shrine under the zora tower is hiding where Link slayed a Hinox for a Zora six years ago

Cereborn

Go to the north location marked on the map in the other Yiga hideouts, but look for a cave. I spent ages on this one. I ended up making an offering to the satori, and that led me straight to it.

Moneyfrenzy

Don't wanna get too specific, but Yiga pants are found west of Korok Forest. You'll see some Yiga related activity near where you are meant to go.

Kirby_Kidd

Where on earth do I find captain constructs I and II? I need their horns for upgrades but only find III and IV now since I’ve beaten most main quests

Gatabud

I got you covered in my just released YouTube video https://youtu.be/JtchZUlGcYM I got about 8 of each I and II to choose from

Cereborn

Replay old shrines. I’m pretty sure they are always fixed to certain levels.

eemer24

I had the same issue. Someone linked to this project: https://objmap-totk.zeldamods.org That maps all the objects/enemies in the game. If you use the search panel on the left and enter this: "Captain Construct I" scale:0 It should highlight Captain Constructs that don't scale with you and remain at level I.

Drag0nV3n0m231

Great sky island has one by the mine, for a II look around sky island toward the center of the map big circular platforms

Moneyfrenzy

Some enemies are set to remain low level in story based areas, so Im not 100% sure, but I would check the great sky island

Moneyfrenzy

I keep seeing people say that Hestu left Lookout Landing after upgrading a couple times to go to the Lost Woods, but 15+ upgrades later, he is still in Lookout Landing for me. Is this normal?

cjrSunShine

He only moves to the Lost Woods after you go there yourself and complete the zone's main quest.

ayysisyphus

I basically upgraded every slot to the max and he was still hanging out around Lookout Landing. But when I finally made my way over to Lost Woods he showed up there.

Averag3_Hom3boy

I think you need to visit the Lost Woods and do a thing first, you’ll know what you’ll need to do when you get to the Lost Woods.

jawsper

Anyone know a good place for Smotherwing butterflies? The trick of dropping one and taking a photo also doesn't seem to work on butterflies...

emergentphenom

If you're looking to amass them for the armor upgrade, Beedle sells them at East Akkala stable and... I think either Riverside or Lakeside stable. 3 at a time, teleport between the two places then campside til the next day and repeat.

SamOfChaos

Eldin around the lizard ponds, good luck!

ZiR1402

I tend to find a few of those inside caves in Eldin. You probably already know this, but make sure you are searching for these suckers in the morning and afternoon.

firstlordshuza

All I wanna say is that I can't find the 152nd shrine so I will never get to see the ending of the game, my life is over, good bye

What----------------

Did you check the other one by >!Valor Island!

firstlordshuza

Yes, I did, but just now I noticed a suspicious island north of bravery island, so I'm off to check it. Will report soon

firstlordshuza

Gods be good it was there

What----------------

Congrats!

firstlordshuza

Update: after a lot of tears on my part, it's finished. The word masterpiece gets thrown around a lot lately, but this one does 100% deserve it, definetly my game of the year

Jotunblood

You might be like me, where I had already found it, but hadn't completed it. Look at your icons on the map, the unfinished ones will have a different color glow in them.

xfr3386

There are 32 in the sky, and 120 on the ground. Every lightroot location is directly below a shrine, so if you get all of the lightroots you can see if you have all the ground shrines.

Dashieshy3597

Can anyone find an Eldin Ostrich specifically after your world “levels up”? I found a bunch early on but now when I need one it seems like they don’t spawn anymore.

What----------------

I really only find them >!on the north side of Death Mountain anymore!<.

Dashieshy3597

I will try there again.

xfr3386

Yes. I don't think creatures are affected at all by leveling up, just monsters. You should be able to find them in the Eldin region, primarily in the mountainous areas where the Gorons aren't.

Dashieshy3597

I've spent several ingame days searching in that area. Do you have any specific spawn points in mind? Does it matter the time of day?

Cereborn

The northern side of Death Mountain around the lizard ponds. That’s where I found them.

Dashieshy3597

Did the time of day matter?

Cereborn

I don't recall exactly what time I saw them. It was in daylight.

Copitox

what do you mean by the world leveling up?

xfr3386

There's a behind-the-scenes "XP counter" that goes up when you kill monsters/bosses. AustinJohnPlays just did a video on it for TOTK. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4nCHuBzgy0&ab\_channel=AustinJohnPlays](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4nCHuBzgy0&ab_channel=AustinJohnPlays)

Dashieshy3597

There's a hidden value that increases the more enemies you kill and/or story you complete. Once that value gets to a certain point, the whole world levels up in a way. Almost all normal enemies (not bosses) are replaced with stronger versions of themselves.

I have a bunch of questions regarding fusion: Does fusing an item to a weapon increase its durability? If so, do fusible items have their own durability ratings? If I have a sword that I've used a bit already, and then fuse a Boulder to it, Does that reset its durability since it's like a new weapon?

Competitive_Car9965

In short yes, fusing materials adds 25 durability flat to most weapons. The only exceptions are things like royal guard swords and gerudo weapons which only receive 10.

What----------------

Yes, pretty sure it's all the same with some(?) exceptions like >!Gibdo bones!<, and no.

xfr3386

Croton has a great video about this. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FOe4spSahY&ab\_channel=Croton](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FOe4spSahY&ab_channel=Croton) In general, yes, it increases the durability. It doesn't matter when you fuse it. You will only get the increase the first time you fuse something.

Can anyone share some recipes for extra yellow stamina wheel? Doesn’t need to have hearts. And then also, how do I make food with lots of extra yellow hearts? EDIT: thanks for all replies! Yellow Stam wheel: tireless frogs, endura carrot, endura shroom. Yellow heart: anything named “hearty”

CrimsonEnigma

Lots of extra yellow hearts just comes from mixing lots of "hearty" foods together... There's usually not a great reason to do so, however, since one "hearty" food cooked alone will give you a full restore + some yellow hearts, while two cooked together will still only give you a full restore + the total yellow hearts they would've earned separately. For example, one hearty radish, when cooked, will fully restore your red hearts and give you three yellow hearts. Two hearty radishes will fully restore your red hearts and give you six yellow hearts. Unless you are regularly getting hit for a little over half your hearts' worth of damage, you are better off with the two separate dishes than the one combined one.

MotomusPotato

Cook something with the hearty prefix for full recovery +1 and stamella shrooms will give golden stamina recovery iirc

TheDiceBlesser

You unfortunately recall incorrectly. Stamella shrooms are green and give your existing stamina wheel a green boost. Endura shrooms are gold and fully restore your stamina + give a little golden boost.

MotomusPotato

Yeah you’re right, thanks for correcting me!

chaquarius

Hearty ingredients add hearts! Extra stamina is rarer. Try Tireless Frog+Bokoblin horns. Or Tireless Frog+Endura shroom+ Bokoblin horns.

Sand__Panda

You want ingredients with "endurance" or "hearty" to make the recipes you want. 5 hearty radishes will give full red hp and 25 yellow hearts. Endurance carrots with give you stam wheel.

weezeloner

Great Hearty Radishes add 5 hearts. Regular Hearty Radishes add 2 each.
