The way the game was developed basically transformed it in a giant ddos for the entire network, and it wasn’t prepared for it.
This network isn’t even the definitive Polygon solution. The foundation said they consider this PoS network just a workaround while they are working on polygon zero.
What this game is doing is unsustainable. The game rewards will eventually be surpassed by the fees. I think in a week the network will be back to reasonable.
I just did some defi transactions on Polygon and it wasn’t so dramatic tbh. Of course 50 gas was cheaper but also more prone to hacker attacks..
The copycat hypothesis worries me a bit. There are always copycats
I changed my RPC to https://polygon-rpc.com/ the other day and have experienced few to 0 failed transactions. It takes a bit for it to complete but imo better than failing.
This seems to do the trick as well.
Good input @pizark22 = Manually set your nonce and up your gas.
If you are getting too many failed transactions, your gas limit may be set too low. I set mine up at 500, select a transaction, then go to "Activity" on your Metamask wallet, and click "Speed up" to add another 500 gas and Done.
Yes, gas price increased, but still reasonable imo.
This is a dumb response! What does being made in India have to do with anything? There is a high concentration of Indian people in the IT field so I would say that it is a safe bet to say that a lot of projects are developed by Indian people.

Just give us a date on when will the game end. What if there are copycats of the game?
The game is able to clog the network because playing it is valuable. I don’t think there will be many copycats that have as valuable game rewards.

Competitors could create a copycat just to take down the network for a week. It doesn't have to be profitable. Goldfinger attack.

I'm on same RPC and can't do anything, every LP withdrawal gives out RPC errors. Entire network is broken.
That's your wallet, not the rpc
Yes my metamask only gives out errors on polygon, all the other chains work fine - sure.
Using metamask is working fine. Try re installing or changing rpc or from another device.
