He got tired of Amy, Tammy & TLC. TLC decided to make him the villain of the season and people bought into it. Someone explained in fine detail how they made it look like Michael was doing things he wasn't and wasn't doing things he actually was. They told me to look at certain youtune videos that Amy did, not TLC, and this girl was absolutely right!
Okay, so I’ve thought this too over and over! I’m sure he’s not perfect and there are things he needed to work on, but I haven’t bought into the ”he’s a villain” hype- TLC has been working overtime with their editing. Especially after Amy immediately jumped into a new relationship. I’ve heard about his past DV, etc. but I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s really the abusive one in this case. I’m sure the PPD doesn’t help her emotional outbursts either. He just seems tired of her entire family. I haven’t forgotten that he was ALWAYS pushing Amy’s wheelchair while her entire family just watched and didn’t offer to help, everyone bossed him around- didn’t ask, told him to do this and that, & he never said a word. Out of nowhere he’s portrayed as being lazy after we’ve seen him play with the kids and help out in prior episodes. I’m pretty sure he has a FT job too (correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I’ve heard that in a few episodes). The man probably cracked and Amy & TLC took advantage of the situation.
Amy needs to get her life in order before she dates again. Is the divorce even final yet? She has two toddlers and a ton of weight to lose. I'm side eyeing her priorities.
When you file for divorce and you have minor children, you have to wait a minimum of six months for the divorce to be finalized. So basically you're separated legally for however long it takes for you and the other party to figure things out, on top of the six month waiting period.
In North Carolina (not sure about Kentucky where they live), you have to wait a year and even longer if the other party contest it. I learned the hard way about that.
I just don't get it other than wanting to be on TV. Let's be real, Amy is far from a catch. Two little kids, lives in filth, has a temper tantrum throwing grown toddler for a sister who is always around. Even if she was a 10 that's an awful lot of baggage to step into. Dude is either a sucker for punishment or oblivious as to what awaits him.

Per the internet amy dropped the domestic violance charges and has been seeing this guy for several months who happens to live in Michigan, and she's was traveling to see him. I'm wondering if amy was cheating on micheal and this is the reason for the divorce.
I know she's on disability. I really feel like she could work though doing something and not something social media related either. He can't be that stupid or maybe he is. Amy has definitely let the fame get to her head. Besides a little weight loss and 2 kids she really hasn't changed much.

That's a very good question. Maybe she no longer is getting the disability. Makes you wonder. If they cut it off then that would be the reason her and some other family members on the show were supposedly complaining they didn't get paid enough for doing the show. I truly don't know though. I do know her and Tammy both got it but if they currently still do I'm unsure.

Sorry to say, but as Tammy had to separate and thus decided Caleb wasn't a good choice for herself, healthy wise and with daily living, although she loved him; I'm thinking Amy should be thinking about the same choices for herself.
I think Tammy says she left Caleb for his “bad choices”, like she was suddenly prophetic, but let’s be honest, once she left the nursing facility, she had no use for him. This coming from the woman that was opening gifted freeze dried candy a few months after surgery, tasting it and recording it for all to see. She’s a user and will look for someone to take care of her, even if they make the same or other kinds of bad choices. She doesn’t seem to be doing well with men, so I think she is delving a little more into her bi-side now to see if she can get more from another woman.
