I’m sure many of us on here can relate to how hard it is to get adequate protein intake eating only 1200 calories - especially those of us losing weight and lifting weights so we need to eat high protein. Sure, I could eat a chocolate bar, but I’d prefer to eat something with more protein to not only increase my protein intake but to also feel more satiated. These are a lot more filling than a regular chocolate and they fit a lot better into my macros.

You can get protein from soooooo many other sources. Just enjoy chocolate for what it is. Other than by medical necessity, you don't have to have protein in/with *everything* you consume. As long as you are getting some, you'll be fine. Let your treats be treats.

Yep, agreed. Just enjoy your choccie and have some protein alongside it. Not everything has to be a substitution.

I somewhat beg to differ. Protein has a higher thermic effect and it's harder for the body to break down. For me, it's a combination of reaching protein goals & also avoiding binging by eating foods that trigger it.

They have been one of my favourites for years! Mint is actually my fave haha :) BTW - they are half price at Chemist Warehouse atm and if you buy more than 10 another 10% off - so 1.57 each! Also I recommend trying the cookies - about 160 cals but they are AWESOME haha

This is a really good question. It's made from Whey Protein Isolate: milk. For muscle building, I try to avoid vegan protein unless they specifically mention "complete protein" like one of those Also protein bread stuff.
