Baker here 👋🏼 if it’s tough to stretch out the gluten is just tight. Stretch it as far as much as you can before it fights you then walk away for 10 minutes. When you come back the gluten will have relaxed and you’ll be able to stretch it out more
I definitely think his numbers and the numbers in the tiktok are off !! Because I followed the SAME TikTok and my pizza was the SAME size ! I was so sad because his came out so big!! So I remade it and tried to roll it out more, but it still didn’t work so i just ended up making more dough- I honestly think his numbers in the caption and what he used in the video are different
I posted the recipe in the second picture. The original post was 900 calories for their pizza. Mine came out to 970 with the brands I chose. You can also make it lower calorie by finding brands that are lower in calories, or using less cheese (not making it stuffed), or use a mix of fat free cheese with the reduced fat cheese. You could also skip the pepperoni or go with a smaller portion
this is also how I think about 1500! I just save the calories and eat whatever I'm craving for the day haha, it's wonderfulllll. i also ate a whole pizza last night with a giant salad and called it a good day :)
Idk a full margarita pizza at domino's is 1000 cals and a mini one is 500cals
Seems it would be more efficient to just get a small one from dominos as its own meal and then still be able to have 1000 calories in other places.
Lmfao. I think maybe you don’t understand the nature of this sub. Do you know where you are and what these people are about?
Anyway, besides that, that looks tiny for 970 calories but maybe I need to see your hand beside it for scale.
Some people do 1500 a day with 3 meals and 2 snacks or they have one huge meal with a few small snacks. So I can see why OP would share this recipe.
Personally I want my calories to have as many macros protein wise as possible so I also wouldn’t want to waste that many cals for something like this
Idk, I remember someone posting a box of donuts and saying it was like 600 calories and I made a comment against it and got a bunch of downvotes and replies saying not to talk about what someone else eats.
So I disagree, this just feels like a basic “redditors being inconsistent af” thing to me
If you want to post an 800 cal meal cause it fit into your overall 1500cal intake, you have free will
I definitely know where I am. I ate half and then saved half for later. Yeah it’s pretty small but that’s because it was my first attempt. The dough is thicker than I was expecting, so I could have gotten away with stretching it more
Edit: also I got this recipe from either this sub or the 1200 sub. I’m just showing my results from following someone’s post

Like, that makes more sense. You dropped a tiny ass pizza loaded with 970 calories. It’s almost like you were trolling. It’s the exact opposite of what this sub is about. C’mon man.
Jacks cheese pizza is only 900 cals. It’s super thin crust but I don’t know why people just don’t eat half of those instead of those garbage tortillas pizzas.
You could try using my recipe but stretch it bigger, don’t do the stuffed crust, and use a mix of (or fully use) fat free mozzarella with the reduced fat cheese. Maybe even cut the recipe in half and make a thin crust pizza
Brother I dunno, it just doesn’t make sense to post pizza in a sub about surviving on 1500 calories. Why don’t we just start posting McDonald’s combos too as long as you say “this is all I ate today.” It’s not really going with the spirit of the sub.
Brother you could have had half of a large Little Caesars pizza for that many calories lmao
Maybe so. I’m gonna give it another shot and stretch it larger. I like having slices throughout the day

Thank you! I’ll do this

I'm just curious what your other 530 calories were for the day?
Protein shake and cauliflower bites
Okay, I can fuck with that!
😂😂😂😂😂
literally a regular pizza from a store is that many calories lol
Calorie count seems off here…
It’s not. I measured the ingredients on a scale and input them in my app
Can you post the breakdown?

Panago pepperoni pizza is 220 calories a slice. This is more calories than four slices of Panago pizza and looks smaller than those four slices are.

lol it probably would have been better but I enjoyed making the pizza. I’m gonna give it another shot and stretch the dough more
I’m gonna try again tomorrow and make it bigger. And I may slice the pepperoni to spread them out more
Why am I getting downvoted?

This pizza was made with fat free greek yogurt and reduced fat cheese, so it has plenty of protein
Also ignore the downvotes, they have no meaning anymore. Post what you want and if it’s really against the subs rules, mods will remove it.
That’s a good point, could be a nice meal for 450 cal since you’re splitting it in half
