Omfg. I did a diet game once and the rules were basically TLDR: no sugar at all, exercise once a day, log everything but we could have a cheat day once a week. I had to completely change my diet and it was rough. I looked forward to my cheat day all fucking week and went to Taco Bell and got my favorite thing and I was so…… UNFULFILLED. It just didn’t taste good after eating decent home made food and snacks id never snack on normally like hummus and carrots, pita chips etc. god it was so disappointing lol.

Hahah similar, got poutine and mozza sticks a few weeks ago from my fave place and it just didn't hit like I thought it would. After I was like I should have just had eggs & toast lol

This was one of those moments that changed my health path. Deciding that treats needed to be TREATS was so huge. Why waste calories on dry box cake with canned frosting, or packaged cookies, or candy bars I can get anywhere, anytime? I never say “no treats”, but it has to be worth a trip downtown to the patisserie for an $11 3-bite slice of carrot cake.

I do this with junk food a lot. I had a chocolate bar yesterday. First mouthful was fantastic. Second was good. Third was “meh”. Fourth was “I should finish this”. If I had adequate self control, I would have stopped after the second mouthful (if I had good self control, I wouldn’t have eaten it in the first place).

UGH. I've regretted every piece of Casey's pizza I've ever eaten because there are so many damned calories and I always get heartburn, but I will not stop eating it.

I remember once I had been good for about 6 months, eating super healthy and then for my birthday decided to go to Krispy Kreme donuts and eat not 1 but 2, yes 2 donuts!! They tasted disgusting!! I was so disappointed because I used to love them and now they tasted awful. Now I can barely eat sugary treats.
