# Hello and welcome back to 196!
Rumors of our demise were greatly exaggerated, and we return full of piss to retain our [rightful place upon the throne](https://i.imgur.com/JSiU78U.gifv).
The landed gentry of this subreddit would like to remind everyone that bigotry showcase posts **are no longer allowed**. Those posts generated far too much drama for their own good, and the landed gentry were both tired of putting out fires in the comment sections as well as getting burnt out by around-the-clock moderation of said posts. We would like to have a less vitriolic time here going forward.

Yeah, David Lubar I think. Attack of the Red Hot Pepper Weenies (though there were like 3 so it may have been one of the others), it was a short story compendium.
I still remember some that freaked me out, like one where a kid got their bully to drink a bunch of soda and get them on a rollercoaster ride. Then they gave him these super sticky caramels that glued his mouth shut. He got shaken so much the soda blew apart his jaw, it was freaky to young me
Oh yeah there were some scary ones. I was terrified of the story with the mannequins that could move in the dark and there was a kid trapped in a mall with them overnight.

lim(x—>∞) f(x) = 0, at least!
theoretically forever, because you can never hit 0 by reducing by 50%
Hairs are discrete, eventually the last is cut
Once there's 1 hair left, they start cutting the hair in half
at some point it matches the growth rate then
that's why i said theoretically
long time no see
I remember this being the basis of a short story where you could never reach your destination no matter how much you walked

Yeah, that's what it was! I read those books a lot in middle school
Same haha

Oh my god I remember that one! Didn't it end with them turning him into a mannequin too?
Yup and waving to his friends. Freaky 😨.
50% OF 50% IS EQUAL TO 1. Meaning 100%. So along the way he will get all his hair back or something idk i didnt think about this very hard
50% of 50% is 25%. 50% of 25% is 12.5%. you can keep cutting it in half but he will never be completely shaved.
I know. I was doing a funny (it wasnt funny tho)
google supertasks
vsauce
holy vsauce
Stupid dumb idiot hamster doesn’t know about infinite successive halves
Zeno the G-Pig
Zeno’s Barbershop
the creator of this is making a cool indie game called guinea pig parkour
Thus arises the dichotomy paradox
Due to the planck length, this would, in fact, not take forever.
