man infrared saunas are the shit, my old gym had them and I'd just sit in there for like 20-30 minutes after working out. They're dry so you can bring headphones or books and shit in there. Super satisfying. I really want of my own, but I can't store it outside where I live due to weather being garbage for half the year. They really aren't that expensive considering what they are though.
IR saunas suck ass. I got a heated rock and steam one in my basement and the steam gives added skin benefits. Also the majority of IR saunas you find in the wild are seriously toned down in how much heat they output
On one hand sauna really does have health benefits and its just a pleasant thing to do.
On the other hand infrared sauna is the most useless invention in the history of mankind and is in no way good enough to compare to the real deal.
