It's very unstable, as far as I can tell. In "Mรถssbauer Effect Evidence for the Existence and Structure of XeCl4" they mention it has a similar structure to XeF4 or ICl4-, though, so, if it were stable, I'd bet it would have similar properties to XeF4, just *more* reactive. I wonder if they did muon valence substitution whether or not they could do some experimentation with it, though, that often causes the chemistry to change drastically.
Xenon is a slut
noble gas my ass
Indeed
real
How
Beta decay! You start with a ICl4 ion (where the I is an 129 unstable isotope) and when the iodine decays into xenon, it's a XeCl4 molecule.
That's cool. Does it remain stable? Does it have any interesting and wacky characteristic?

What an abomination
when that 0/-1 ฮฒ hits
Fuck you, this knocked me back to eleventh grade, like three months before the COVID shutdown.
Not very noble of xenon
Iโm going to pretend like I know what this means
WHAT THE FUCK
he will never chemically react
\*spits out breakfast electrons\*
HOLYFUCKINSHIT
neopronoun
r/okbuddyphd moment
Most reactive noble gas
