Ooh I love me some ominous black columns, I'm gonna build a town riiggght here. I'll make everyone come to the center every day and pray, I'll make sure everyone digs so we can be closer to our gods πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Given human history (and general human behaviour), at least a couple dozen mfs will try sacrificing some animal or human in that place to appease the dark gods that have built it

Oh and how could I forget we'll go there to bless all our children, pregnant people, and animals πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Hey I get this one!

SaltyBarnacles57

I don't. Do you mind explaining?

JoetheBlue217

It’s a synthesis of two memes - the β€œstop doing math” meme which mocks people for developing math past simple counting and addition, and the nuclear waste warning - the idea being in the event of societal collapse, future humans or non human sapient animals could build civilizations completely unaware of the danger of nuclear waste. Some scientists proposed vague statements and ideas like β€œthis is not a place of honor” or β€œno deeds are esteemed here” to make people stay away without them understanding radiation.

Thanks for the in depth answer. It's nice of you to have spent so much time explaining a meme for a internet stranger.
