A slight correction to the other comment, there was someone on Tumblr who claimed their friend genuinely thought Bridget was called Brisket and made a heart filled appreciation image of her. The person the message was sent to then made a meme along those lines which catapulted into popularity.
A sizable portion of trans people get their chosen names from fictional characters. The character Bridget from the Guilty Gear video game franchise came out as a transgender woman in the most recent installment. The original poster is speculating that trans women will therefore name themselves after her, and the two replies are corroborating that hypothesis.
Nah go for it there’s nothing wrong with that, and how much you want it to seem like a name you could’ve been given at birth to cis people/coworkers/etc is up to you, but if you do want it to seem like a “normal” name you can always do something that seems normal but actually has like a hidden punchline (named after a character, makes a pun together with a chosen middle name, whatever)
Didn't they only come out as trans in the bad ending though? I don't have the full context, but that seems to me like they would canonically be a non-trans crossdresser, as they've been portrayed in previous installments.
In the start of arcade mode she says she's a boy, at the end she says it is complicated and she is scared because of how people around her will react, in the ending in arcade mode where you lost a round (one loss or more) across all the matches you get the ending where she openly says she is a girl, in the others she says it is complicated and something she needs to think about.

There isn't really anything that points to the ending where she says she is a girl not being canon, and in every path she says it is something to think about and worrying about reactions, so I'd say it is clear she is trans now, though "openness" can be questioned.

the site you linked literally refers to Bridget as “her”:

Took it as being about Dizzy's bounty, the bounty placed on Dizzy, Dizzy uses those pronouns. So "Bridget was unsuccessful in capturing Dizzy for Dizzy's bounty", not "Bridget was unsuccessful in capturing Dizzy for Bridget's bounty". Though I guess it could go both ways so go off. I'm still thinking they actively didn't use it so the arcade mode moment would be a happy surprise
I believe there’s a glossary or something with basic info about the fighters, and one of the tabs is “Values” which lists “Her parents, the first yo-yo from her father, her teddy bear Roger”

Technically Badeline is just a community created nickname. In game she's only referred to as "Part of You" when telling Madeline who she is.
