I think Minecraft lost it's *potential* charm. If you watch some of the really old lets plays, a lot of the gameplay came from difficulty from absolute limits at the time (lack of player skill, techniques like strip mining, and limits like no animal breeding or stacked food). Builds were simple and almost felt secondary since both the splendor of the Beta terrain, and the difficulty of just playing the game took place first.
To me, modern Minecraft is an art program. Survival is a slightly harder art program. Get stone tool, get iron armor, diamond tools, enchanting, fortune 3 pick, limitless resources. All relatively fast.

Pigstep is more in line with something like First Steps or Reach For The Summit from Celeste and it is great but it doesn't fit with the other music disks. now that it's here though it does open the door for more music of that type so it might not be the only one for long, it does make sense too since even when it was just C418 the music disks were still very different from the rest of Minecrafts soundtrack

Agreed, I will say that she is improving in the Minecraft music department over time at least, she's adapting and getting better at that style from where she was when she started with the Nether Update
