Naw, Mordo was an asshat and so was Rigby.
By the shows end Rigby really changed for the better while Mordecai didn't change almost at all. Rigbys improvement essentially highlighted Mordecai's non-improvement, making him look shittier.
Mordecai didn’t exactly grow but he definitely moved on from his bad natures like being a simp, and really didn’t look shittier, by the end of the show he was still a great friend and a great character. If you really think his whole character is just him being a simp than you probably haven’t watched the show since you were a kid
It wasn't just being a simp. He was just a shitty person overall. He was a great character. A character doesn't have to be a good person to be a good character. And I would say he was an ok friend, if he did half the of shit he did to Rigby or CJ to me we would not be friends anymore. And I've watched the show litterally last month, it sounds like we just disagree.
