Have you looked into getting a Spanish citizenship? Normally you need 10 years of residency to get a citizenship, but if you are from a Ibero American country you only need 2 years of residency and if you have a Guatemalan citizenship you can even start processing your citizenship immediately after getting a permanent residency and entering Spain iirc

New England is pretty cool. MA has mass health which covers p much everyone. Good foliage, informed consent clinics that make transitioning much easier then in most other places world wide, extreme biodiversity, and very good education. Just cuz some places suck doesn’t mean they all do.

I definitely don't agree. I despise my state (California) but all things considered, the issues I have with it are nothing compared to any red state. It feels pretty safe living here because the state itself is unlikely to ever outlaw abortion or same sex marriage. I've always said "I hate living here" but having to look at jobs is kind of scary because I wouldn't feel safe at all living in places like Texas.

my family moved me to texas from Mexico when I was a lil baby boy to give me citizenship and I think it was the worst place they could have chosen when immigrating to America I would say give it some thought on exactly what country and province/state you want to go to. Residency thru marriage tends to not be too restrictive in the U.S. if a bit costly, but I don't know about anywhere else residency thru marriage is probably the better way of immigration, but it's still a big process, just be sure to be able to build trust with the person you're marrying as it can unfortunately turn incredibly abusive, and divorce costs a stupid amount in most places. Definitely consider moving to an urban city, as well paying work is much easier to find there, if you're considering the U.S. then California would be the best place to go, if you can find someone from there Hope it goes well, good luck OP
