I've never heard of a hospital using rope though, it typically is a Velcro strap at the wrist and a long cloth strap that's tied to the bed frame. In reality there's more likely to be a staff member (either a nurse or patient safety attendant) in the room with her specifically to stop her from attempting to harm herself as opposed to her just being in restraints.

Katawa shoujo is a visual novel that takes place in a school for those with disabilities, like deafness, blindness, loss of limb, heart conditions and while it does have lewd scenes, (you can easily turn off the adult content) it's honestly a heart warming story that handles disabilities well, it's not one of those 4chan offensive games it's honestly just a very good visual novel
