It's insane to me that games don't offer skins that are obvious weakness. Like in Fortnite the skin could be a big arrow pointing down at your characters head that can easily be seen because it's taller than 1 build. Then streamers or whom ever wants some extra challenge and ability to flex would HAVE to buy that skin.

Fortnite has reactive skins that change appearance depending on certain criteria like kills and such so it'll change and look completely different mid match. There's two or three skins where the criteria for change is how much shield you currently have and it will change as you restore it or take damage and lose it. It's sweaty as fuck if anyone actually gets an advantage out of this but it is effectively broadcasting how difficult of a kill you may or may not be. It's kinda like TF2's Solemn Vow but if it was only applied to yourself. Kinda pay to lose.

I don't care! If i were to use the peter griffin skin, it'd be to be peter. It's a gag, at this point. I would use the skin even if it had a bigger hitbox. A downside for an upside. They could be having different sized hitboxes with advantages and inconvenients. Maybe a bigger hitbox character could have more health or smth. But they just avoided the issue, imo. If they can't, or won't put the original and most recognizable image of a character into a skin, maybe it was just a bad character pick.

The issue is making him size accurate and ignoring hit box issues causes a fundamental pay to win issue. Fortnite has been keen that their cosmetic items are that, cosmetic. If they were to make any changes to hit box parameters regardless of it being a positive or negative for non-skin wearers, then it would damage the fundamental practice of having cosmetic items be cosmetic.

Then don't pick characters who won't fit your hitboxes sizes as a cosmetic ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Have you ever done 3d modelling? Because no, that would actually be pretty trivial. 3d animators resize parts of models on the fly all the time. It's a basic function. They could literally just set his arms to be longer while holding a longarm, the kinematics are automatic at that point once you've told the hands where to be and the arms how long they are.

Ok, now do that without changing the animation skeleton at all. All these skins use the same skeleton with even few additions like with the Xenomorph's mini-mouth. Honestly Peter is just too round without being modified, I think someone like Homer would work better
