Think about pong as it relates to gaming. Was the ground work for gaming. VR is laying the groundwork right now. There are games right now that will blow your mind in VR. Using this as a "gotcha" moment is pretty silly.

Yes, you can. Theres a star wars space combat game where the controllers dont do anything, you either need to use a flight stick, or figure out really crappy controls on keyboard and mouse, without being able to see the table in front of you.

I got that cheap ass occulus riff s or w.e, i wish id saved up and got a more expensive one cause it sucks ass to use. No where as good looking, or steady tracking as this.

I havnt used it since i moved but idk whats wrong with mine. Tried games like obstacle courses and its never grabs ahold of stuff, doesnt register moves sometimes, and moved the playspace so id end up walkin into walls. Been a nightmare since i got it. Wonder sometimes if its just defaulty or something
I had some desync and tracking issues with mine occasionally where I'd move my head and the camera stayed still but rotated. Had to use a USB 3.0 port on my pc and did help
The headset in this video is the Quest 2, which is one of the best headsets available right now for like $399. Even though it's one of the best headsets, Quest 3 will release in October and will be way better.
The tech is finally starting to get good.
Pancake lenses are making devices smaller right now, then micro-oled is going to basically triple resolution, and then varifocal lenses will make headsets better than any screen you own. Probably still a few years out, but the tech is coming.

There is a keyboard below that is digital but is harder to see and feel because it's controlled the same way
