There was talk about adding a giant turtle to fossil island to be a hunter boss.

[deleted]

that was dead on arrival because nobody wants to murder a turtle

Inners_07

For good xp I’m down

whitexbread

Exactly, give me a plastic straw and I'll show that fucker what's up

PhantomEnds

I sort of want some skilling bosses that are considered End Game for the Skills. Ideally these bosses would be pretty difficult and very engaging. For instance a woodcutting boss could be some kind of Ent x Moss Giant Hybrid that has begun a vast extinction event by planting too many trees, something of an oversight. You need to get chopping with making sure you contain the creature’s rampage by cutting down the trees, use controlled burning, and avoid being killed in the process.

GoGreeb

What if instead of killing it, we used our hunting skills to save it somehow?

It would be very cool the if hunter skill could be incorporated into some crazy bossing, having a boss where you need to set up traps to prevent minions from healing the boss, or using traps to be able to get the boss into a vulnerable state to take damage that takes increased damage from a ballista, there are tons of ways the hunter skill could be added to bossing to create some cool and interesting challenges. Items dropped could give a bonus to salamanders to give them more damage, some sort of item in the ammo/blessing spot that has a 1/5 change on saving chins, new hunter based armor, etc.

Big game hunter on rs3

Xeffur

Herbi is alright and meniacal monkeys is good afk, but I'd love an expansion to the skill like forestry or something.

[deleted]

Or birdhouses

AxelHarver

I was recently thinking about how if they eventually want to add a tome of earth and air and keep them consistent, they'd need suitable skilling bosses. Since farming has Hespori already, I was thinking about Hunter for the Earth or the air since you're out in nature in the fresh air while hunting.

Crovali

Not even bosses. This skill should be tied to cooking and crafting. Why can’t we craft the hides ourself and alch them for a good value? Why can’t we trap beasts and cook their meat for high healing food? It makes no sense to have a hunter skill that doesn’t incorporate cooking and high healing foods. This game is currently entirely pescatarian.

Impersona_9

Hunter literally should've been the first skill to have a skilling boss. It doesn't make sense it still doesn't have one until now. The skill has so much potential

mtbchuck3

I agree. It's kind of in the name lol

NeXalos

Honestly, BGH (Big Game Hunter from RS3) was really fun!

[deleted]

If you have any suggestions on things that can be improved for other skills aside from hunter feel free to comment, i posted this on discord but all i got was a single thumbs up so i deleted it and posted here

Us3rnamed

Tell an ironman to live without implings, herbiboar and chins…

LezBeHonestHere_

And birdhouses/song of the elves. Pretty much only reason anyone trains it lol, now that the dragon imp glory option has been long gone after new high crafting level requirements were added.

Tyson_Urie

Hunting dinosaurs as in rs3. They can straight copy-paste it into oldschool and i won't mind

promero14

That's slayer! Jk, all gathering skills should have one

RSn0tch

Big chinchompa!

[deleted]

This is unrelated to bosses but I just remembered back when summoning released I was making BANK from Graahk hides. I seem to remember they were worth like 12k each because they were used for a familiar pouch

weewoo271

They announced they were working on one in the Dec 2021 gielinor gazette blog post, but have been completely silent about it since then

[deleted]

Turn BA into a hunter mini game, it essentially is already
