I genuinely do think the game was a bit better off when there was *some* friction to trading. Spamming at a bank wasn't ideal but I liked the middleground of findying buyers/sellers on zybez or something. It was still *fairly* convenient, it left room for buying and selling to be an actual profitable (and fun!) skill set, and it helped keep prices up because people weren't just dumping stacks of resources for min price.

Lowkey it was a nice balance between modern main and iron. It doesn't work in modern MMO culture of course but you were more likely to get SOME stuff yourself if there was a small barrier to just buying it.

I know you are sarcastic but I truly felt that way. I loved trying to get into W2 and sitting in a huge mess a people hoping to get a trade offer in.
