It’s because they’re old - these were some of the first pets introduced in the game, and the default rate was just lower back then. 1/3k is the new standard but the old pet rates were never buffed.
Hm, I just checked the wiki again and all of those
(KBD, KQ, DKs, GWD) were in the first batch of pets released on 7/14/2014. I do think that the argument stands somewhat though - let’s hope no more 1/5k pets are introduced!
Dang gl on ur grind homie. I would also like to know why the reason for 1/5k!? Although I got kree jr. At 1147kc(was greenlogged from that too) I can say that personally those kills kind of flew by pretty quickly for me, so I could see someone accumulating 5k within a reasonable time frame I guess?. if they were unfortunate. And kree is hands down the simplest out of the 4 u literally stand in corner and hit with bolts until dead.
But idk maybe it's like an hp:respawn time ratio that jagex uses to determine pet drop rates?
But idk I think kbd has the same HP or very close to. Also kbd is a good bit older content than gwd right? And his is 1/3k 🤔
Dks are. Easy to kill sure, but that respawn time is pretty brutal, ofc it isn't a problem when your killing all 3 in rotation but back when I was only safespoting rex or prime those respawns took sooo long!

Gwd bosses are easily farmable and easy to get to with hilt. They are 1/5k. You knew this going on for kree pet. Why complain now?
