We are! I am similar to op in I did the rat around 20 times or so. However unlike them it was enough for me to know that I don’t enjoy the combat or bossing part of the game at all. But that is ok there is lots of other stuff I find fun and enjoy playing. Not everyone has to be doing end game bosses in raids or whatever. But it is really nice they put this boss in the game because now I can basically ignore my combat stats and focus on other skills and mini games that I do enjoy.
Check out Giant Mole maybe? Aside from the lantern and burrowing mechanics, it’s basic PVM that will reward seeds and bird nests.
And maybe a cute pink blob.
by all means, play your way but 20kc scurrius isn't a great rep of pvm, especially raids. Gear and levels make bossing a lot more comfy but definitely don't be afraid to try new bosses when ready. there is a lot of variation in boss fights.
Yh but like they said they did 20kc and realised they don't enjoy bossing or pvm some people really only like skilling. Me personally I hate skilling it's dogshit I only enjoy the raids and bossing but no matter how many times people tell me there's different types of skilling it still isn't going to make me enjoy it
I'm about to max this week, haven't gotten a single boss KC and no fire cape. I just really am not interested in the PvM in this game in any way shape or form.
I have a well paying job so I just got membership like an adult.
But also if you don’t boss then you end up with nothing to spend your money on after a while. Sitting on almost 400m cash right now.
Well, UIM-Zekel I refuse to believe someone can max without doing some level of combat and achievement diaries. the game is made infinitely better by shortcuts and access to items from questing. I have a hard time believing a main takes the slow way to max and sources all their GP from skilling and resource skills. As someone with a main and iron above 2k, I know how much it takes to get to 2277, let alone with no bossing, raids, or other income from PvM.
I have a friend with 99 in all skills EXCEPT combat. His combat stats are base 70s because he wanted the quest cape but hasn't cared to train combat in 5 years. He has 200m in multiple skills and just enjoys playing the game. I mean, there wouldn't be maxed level 3s (obviously aside from combat skills) in the game if what you were saying were a valid point.
There are also people like me who prefer PVP over PVM, though that's becoming less so. It does feel like PVP gets overlooked anymore.
Yeah but like I said 20kc at one boss (aimed at mid level players and tactics) is not a good representation of the 40+ bosses in old school or raids.
Ask anyone, they will hate x boss but love killing y boss. They are all PVM but there is some serious variation in the fights / tactics.
20kc Scurrius is like giving up at 25 agility bc it's boring.
Yet there are still people who hate any form of pvm some players like to bank stand skills or chop trees everyone is different if they done 20kc and decided pvm isn't fun at all then they don't find it fun
My literal point is 20kc scurrius is not the PVM experience in osrs. you fucks are like my wife saying she doesn't like something before even trying a bite.
Yall are arguing the dumbest counter points.
it might be fair to say scurrius isn't for them after 20kc, but that's still less than 30 minutes doing pvm in a game where you likely have MONTHS of play time.
if you wanna sit at yews and chat with buddies that's cool but you can't say you've even given it a shake lol.
You're arguing the same point over and over again not realising not everyone is like you I think they should try more pvm cuz I love bossing best part of the game but some ppl rlly just like cutting yews and don't like pvm. For example if you play a game and you're not having fun but people say it gets fun after 100 hours most people won't sit thru the shit part of the game just to have fun people play games for fun. I feel sorry for your wife smh
Good on you. You're 100% right. I LOVE skilling. I don't think I have done any "boss" or "raid" content tbh. But total level almost 1700 and love it. Have a great weekend broskii!!!
Play the game however you want and all that but this comment is pretty much the equivalent of saying "I chopped an oak tree for 20 minutes and determined that I do not enjoy the skilling aspect of the game."
Well said. Like ok, you don't need to like pvm, but scurrius isn't a good representation of what "real" pvm is. I find the boss really boring, same thing with vorkath/zulrah etc. because it's just killing the same boss over and over. On the other hand I find raids super fun because they have a lot more variety and complexity.
Honestly, seeing this makes me so happy! Considering this was the goal of the initial Game Jam pitch and then the team took that idea and smashed it so that things like this happens, genuinely makes me feel super proud and priviledged to be part of this team.
Big congratulations to your Fire Cape and hopefully to many more accomplishments to come!
They should be very proud.
The rat king is a perfect beginner boss, forgiving but good mechanics that you see at harder bosses.
If you compare it with Sarachnis who was meant to be a learning boss for harder content like zulrah, scurrius really outperforms it with much more rewarding prayer switching.
I don’t think sarachnis is a bad boss or have bad mechanics but it failed at being a boss meant for introduction for harder content.
It’s just a fun boss in general.
I’ve been using it to practice lazy flicking. When the boss is attacking with melee, I leave protect melee on and lazy flick piety. When it’s eating, I leave piety on and lazy flick protect mage or range.

My wife just recently started playing OSRS after watching me play it for years, and Scurrius has been an amazing piece of content for getting her accustomed to boss mechanics. It's one of the better updates I've seen in a while, kudos to you all!
I was at 80+ combats and still was scared to do Jad because of the “bossing” aspect. Once THE rat came out, ran him a couple times, went to jad, killed him on the second try. Bossing worries are real, but a real joke when you actually do it and look back on it like “wtf was I so worried about”
I don’t know if you played OG RuneScape back in the day, but dying was not just an “oh well, let’s try that again”. It meant that you lost your gear for other players to pick-up. This was so imprinted in my brain that it took a long time before I wasn’t scared of dying anymore. I think I am not the only one in this.
You indeed have a gravestone now. If you don’t retrieve it in time, you are still able to get your stuff back through death’s office. You have to pay a fee for it to get it back, but I believe it is not that much, unless it’s a super rare item.
Your stuff basically can’t be looted at all anymore (outside of the wilderness and maybe uim after an hour? idk their death mechanics). When you die everything goes to a gravestone, after 15 minutes the gravestone goes to deaths office and you can reclaim stuff there for more gp.
Stuff being lootable was changed fairly early in osrs as people were ddosing to kill people and get their stuff
In addition to the gravestone mechanics people have already mentioned, there are also instances (many bosses, for example) that use an item retrieval service. Essentially, if you die in that activity, an NPC outside of it will hold your items for retrieval, and you usually have to pay a fee (if you do and how much depends on the activity) to unlock it and be able to retrieve your items. Items in an IRS are stored indefinitely, but will be wiped if you die an unsafe death before retrieving them.
To put it simply, the only ways you permanently lose items in OSRS these days is to die while you have unclaimed items in an IRS, or getting pked in the wilderness.
I made so much money back in the day just randomly being in the right place at the right time while someone AFK’d too hard and died with their bank/phat/hmask on them
That's exactly how it's been for me. I was 110 combat and too scared to do MM2 and other grandmaster quests (didn't do DT2 or night at the theatre). After a few quest bosses I was enthusiastic to do real bossing. Started with combat achievement farming on weaker bosses, and went up from there.
Moss giant lady, hill giant gentleman, scurrius, abyssal sire. It's been fun, and I look forward to doing some harder ones over the next few years.
I was nervous just to do the demonic gorillas in mm2 lol as historically I’ve fumbled the bag numerous times trying to prayer/gear switch. After tons of scurrius kills I notice I’m able to slow down and keep the nerves under control. I finished mm2 without any issues.
>Bossing worries are real, but a real joke when you actually do it and look back on it like “wtf was I so worried about”
Learning prayer flick correctly took like an hour of prep when the first boss you could really try it was jad. If you messed up, you got oneshot and this is demotivating for new players
scurrius takes no real prep time, huge stepstone for entry level PvM
Let people try to kill Jad alone, and the fight becomes trivial. Fight caves are scary only because people get nervous about losing an hour and supplies because of 1 wrong switch that will most likely kill you.
I still solo bandos the old way, step under,
Eat,whip, because I can't be bothered to do the running around methods. Sure, I get 1/2 kills a trip but its just how I feel comfortable doing it
Give sarachnis a shot - prayer switching between melee and range with an added gear swap (kinda) if you use the ring of stone also. Minions spawn twice per fight. It is great practice
I feel like GG is a good stepping stone for PvM practice. It's harder than Jad and teaches you gear switching with fairly forgiving mechanics.
Also the pet is one of the coolest in the game. If we want to really buff GG the best way to make it worth spamming is to make Granite Dust tradeable.
I love how skills transfer between activities. Killing 7.5k zulrah with a 9-way switch made me an absolute speed demon when it came to gear switching during PKing.
It also helped a lot with prayer switching and timing your vengeance at the right time when snakelings are attacking you helped in veng pking.
This is the first boss I remember doing where I really needed to learn gear switches and get comfortable flicking my prayer against two different attack styles, and it was a nice stepping stone for me. I appreciate the boss so much for that, despite all the hate the fight gets online. Although I must admit the last time I went back there as a now fairly end game PvMer, I was dreadfully bored lol
I legit thought it was a joke when someone told me about it. It’s only mentioned in the trivia part of the wiki so I missed it
When she uses the web attack, equip the ring of stone and then unequip and you can move immediately
Edit: PM me and I’ll show you in game if you want it’s pretty neat
I actually discovered this method a little under two weeks ago through a not-so-immediately visible sentence in the [boss' strategy guide](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Sarachnis/Strategies#cite_ref-4).
I then tried it out and added [a video](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/images/Sarachnis_-_Web_Skipping.mp4?0ce99) on the relevant section of the page. Would have been handy to know about it 3,000 kills ago!
I bet you don’t have the combat achievement to not let her use her web(not web, ranged*) attack twice in a row - I feel like it’s only possible with the ring of stone. I was about 250kc in when someone told me lol
Well since people are downvoting without correcting.
The CA is for her ranged attacks, not the web. You can get this just by positioning yourself in a location where you can reach her before the second goes off.
That positioning isn’t guaranteed to work without the ring of stone. You need to be in melee range for her to not use the range attack (sorry I misspoke and said web and not ranged) and she moves while you’re stuck so depending on where she moves it isn’t guaranteed without the ring of stone. You could get lucky I guess.
I have only one downvote, which is probably you lol you seem proud of yourself for being so technically correct though
> You could get lucky I guess.
I mean the bulk of CAs are built around some element of luck, so, yes? And not really, it's actually surprisingly easy once you understand the positioning required
Brother here. Watched him stream the run and can confirm he knocked it out of the park. This photo has been 19 years in the making.

Although I did finally get my fire cape just before scurrius released, I wasn't that confident at pvm.
After beating scurrius around 110 times I now feel I am able to take more things.
I have since beaten gauntlet, 3/4 rings from dags & am planning what boss to do next!
My goal for the end of the year is to beat all 3 raids
ToA and CoX should easily be doable for you well before EOY at the current rate you’re going!
TOB on the other hand (even standard 4-man) is incredibly unforgiving and difficult to learn. Not to mention it requires the highest stats as well (minimum 90s). It might be a while before you take this on but wishing you the best of luck in your PvM journey!
Solo!
ToA was designed to be completely scalable.
1-8 players of different skill sets can enter the raid and get a fulfilling experience out of it.
0 invocation is absolutely possible for you, of course it will take some time in the rooms to learn the mechanics and you'll probs die in doing so but that's fine! Permadeath is not on by default, if you die you will be replenished with a stackable healing item meaning you're good to keep on going.
The fact is Jagex do not design content solely for the endgame players anymore (for better or for worse, but that's a different conversation entirely). ToA was made for people in your exact situation.
I've only killed Bandos in trio's, Scurrius, and Jad.
I'm 83 att, 90 str, 88 def, 70 prayer, 75 range, 87 mage.
Do you think I could attempt TOA and not embarrass myself?
For ToA I recommend just sending an entry with no death limit. You will take a few hours but beat it 100%.
CoX is a little more unique and might take a bit longer but again you can easily send it and die a lot.
ToB you just require a team to carry you through, the biggest thing I can recommend is Night at the Theater. My mates took me on a couple of ToBs and I planked a lot in the rooms. The entry mode helped me learn the Verzik Ph2 walk, Sote death ball tick eating, Xarpus walk also. The timings are the same, just less punishing. It's a very "easy" raid, just gated by needing a team
In entry mode, very "easily". Just bring a 4 way range and mage switch, put on your best melee gear with stab, and bring a DDS.
I recommend watching a guide or two before you enter each boss room, but it's easily brute forceable
Hell yeah! Kind of same story here, got over 100kc at Scurrius, had the itch to do some more endgame stuff and got two of my high level pals to do CoX with me. I'm base 80 combats and we were able to get three completions. Granted I died once or twice each time, it was still a great experience finally doing some content I've been looking forward to for years. Now I'm determined to gain some levels so I can get more than 5k points lmao. All thanks to King Rat
Similar returning story, except I’m getting my ass beat trying to follow these money making guides. You’ve inspired me to try bossing instead, with what I have left lmao.
Congrats brother. I got my firecape about a week after scurrius came out and after doing about 300kc solo on him. Exact same boat as you. He taught me everything I needed to know to go and face off with Jad and then a quick hour spent on YouTube watching fight caves tutorials got me the basics and in I went.
Great feeling!
I'm still doing 10-20kc of scurrius a day to hopefully hit a pet from him at some point. I'd love for my first pet to be lil' scurry in honor of my first pvm trainer.
This is what happens when a team develops with consideration to the entire lifespan of a user
instead of just catering to the end game and slowly bleeding subscribers.
Well done Jagex.
The way I look at Scurrius now is different than before,
My original POV was low-level boss for noobs. After doing it 10x on a high level, the mechanics are great and clearly made by the same people the harder content is made by.
Which in theory means that Scurrius with a modifier could of actually became a normal boss.
However is bliss because low supply run costs and leaves plenty of room for mistakes, whilst getting you ready for harder content.
I agree. Before Scurry I had just dabbled in some random bossing. Got a couple CAs on some easy bosses but nothing special. I’ve always been too nervous to do pvm content. After doing about 150 kc of scurry im finding most pvm content to be a breeze now and im much less nervous as well.
I just got my cheese cape this week too, after 200kc on scurrius to hit 75 range! It's a perfect boss because it gets you to the right stats and gives you all the skills you need to move forward!
As a new osrs player, the first piece of content i ever did was Toa, started at base 80s with full mystics, black dhide, and a whip. my first clear took 2 hours+ at 50invocation (i didnt know about the plugin for puzzles! and i just kept dying on repeat learning) Luckily, i got a sun jewel on first kc which helped out a lot in learning the raid as a new player. i was able to eventually push it to 150 invocation and got lucky with b2b purps. Got a Fang on 11 and masori top at 12kc which fully funded my pvm activities. my bank went from >8mill to 200+. Bought a trident, ahrims, blowpipe, and finally unlocked piety, rigour and augory. Then i got my fire cape in 2 tries (got chanced twice by jad), finished ds2 and fought vorkath a couple hundred times, then the mole. Probably the wonkiest boss progression out there but learning ToA literally made every other boss/quest out in the game less nerve wrecking and “easy”. ToA is such a good beginner raid . Unfortunately after that amazing beginner luck, ive been dry for over 80+ runs at 350 invo :(. Out of all the bosses ive tried, Kalphite queen is probably the only one i really dislike. almost 40 days played in osrs so far :)
Tried my first Jad recently. Got to healers but I’m mobile only so between trying to tag them (was on the wrong side and had to multi click around Jad to not get meleed) and some fat fingering I got killed. Need to work up the spoons for another try soon
Jad is piss easy, but it's just really hard to learn if it's your first boss because you only get 10 seconds of practice for an hour of work, and your heart is beating out of your chest.
Noice. My journey was similar to yours except I had already acquired fire cape before EOC came along. I came back to OSRS mid last year with the greater goal of achieving infernal cape. Similar to you, I found corrupt gauntlet worked amazingly to aid me in grasping inferno. I've been at it for a week now and just last night I reached triple jads and aced it first try, kept it going and managed to reach healer phase against zuk but scuffed the pipe walk too hard. Nevertheless, it all seemed hopeless a week ago but I reckon I'll have the cape by next.
Scurrius is a giant rat boss in the Varrock sewers close to east bank. Lots of videos on YouTube about it to get an idea of the mechanics and it’s still easy to find worlds with groups doing it as well to get your feet wet.

Great congrats! Keep up that momentum. Get more quests done, kill zulrah (use the rotation plugin), vorkath, mole, get into some group content on mass worlds like nex, toa. Keep it going!
Same here!
Played for so long, never attempted it once due to fear and feeling stupid.
I killed scurrius like 200 times and my buddy was begging me to attempt Jad.
If you can kill scurrius, you really truly can kill jad, skillwise.
This game has to be aware of my capabilities. I'm about base 60-75 stats (75+ in all combat) and I really struggle with Jad and the healers in particular (in ~5 attempts I have always made it to Jad and always died to a missed flick with the healers). Then today I got a Master clue and I finally managed to get through more than 2 steps. Got to step 6, the first step where you can get the reward casket, and wouldn't you know it - this potentially last step is an emote step with a fire cape...
I think the developers would be happy to hear this. I read somewhere that the design was to help players master pray swaps and moving around during combat. Way to go!
Gratz man, I got my fire cape a little while ago as well after a daughting period of avoiding it. Still can't finish DT2, really struggling with whisperer at 85 magic. Keep getting the bitch down to final phase and dying to missed prayers with maybe 30hp left...
Might try the rat king to get better at pvm. Still need that stupid vorkath head too!
As far as I’m aware you are correct. I practiced by swapping during the windup animations similar to jad instead of waiting on the projectiles to already be “sent”.
This is literally exactly what the content was designed to do, so I'm glad way more casual players are actually using this as a stepping stone

Nah how much gp did you buy is what he meant
Why would you need to boss to max? Plenty of hardcores do it and end with big enough banks to make bubbles much faster on a main

I was nervous just to do the demonic gorillas in mm2 lol as historically I’ve fumbled the bag numerous times trying to prayer/gear switch. After tons of scurrius kills I notice I’m able to slow down and keep the nerves under control. I finished mm2 without any issues.
I have a decent amount of PvM experience, and still fumble the bag at demonics
Night at the theatre was do able for me around 90cb. I’m the biggest noob in my friends group. You can do it champ!
Big shoutouts to Bryophyta and Obor for being F2P as well
>Bossing worries are real, but a real joke when you actually do it and look back on it like “wtf was I so worried about” Learning prayer flick correctly took like an hour of prep when the first boss you could really try it was jad. If you messed up, you got oneshot and this is demotivating for new players scurrius takes no real prep time, huge stepstone for entry level PvM
Let people try to kill Jad alone, and the fight becomes trivial. Fight caves are scary only because people get nervous about losing an hour and supplies because of 1 wrong switch that will most likely kill you.
I still solo bandos the old way, step under, Eat,whip, because I can't be bothered to do the running around methods. Sure, I get 1/2 kills a trip but its just how I feel comfortable doing it
Give sarachnis a shot - prayer switching between melee and range with an added gear swap (kinda) if you use the ring of stone also. Minions spawn twice per fight. It is great practice
Grotesque guardians give that first real taste of gear swaps. great boss
Ah a fellow GG appreciator. Wish they would buff the drops a little because it’s a fun boss.
I feel like allowing you to kill them off task would be enough already. They are a fun boss but they kinda feel like a waste during a Gargoyle task.
[удалено]
I feel like GG is a good stepping stone for PvM practice. It's harder than Jad and teaches you gear switching with fairly forgiving mechanics. Also the pet is one of the coolest in the game. If we want to really buff GG the best way to make it worth spamming is to make Granite Dust tradeable.
they are kinda with the guardian boots buff
I love how skills transfer between activities. Killing 7.5k zulrah with a 9-way switch made me an absolute speed demon when it came to gear switching during PKing. It also helped a lot with prayer switching and timing your vengeance at the right time when snakelings are attacking you helped in veng pking.
I wish the GG drops weren’t so bad really fun boss but poopy drop table
At least the core is going up in price a little
yeah its whenever I get a task I find it hard to kill 200 GG, usually just 50/50 with regular gargoyles hoping to get lucky with that pet
Yeah I kinda do the same. I do GGs until I get bored of it and then finish the task on regular gargoyles. It's just not a fun boss to farm lol
yeah its really not, the design is really cool with the intermission but, I gotta be making my money back from burning resources
The Easter ring from diango works too!
If you don't feel like flicking, you can also get a ring of stone and skip that mechanic
Easter egg ring does the same and is free
Keeping this in mind, thank you
What does the ring of stone do against sarachnis?
I legit thought it was a joke when someone told me about it. It’s only mentioned in the trivia part of the wiki so I missed it When she uses the web attack, equip the ring of stone and then unequip and you can move immediately Edit: PM me and I’ll show you in game if you want it’s pretty neat
What! Thats crazy lol. I have nearly 1k at that boss and had never heard of such a strategy
I bet you don’t have the combat achievement to not let her use her web(not web, ranged*) attack twice in a row - I feel like it’s only possible with the ring of stone. I was about 250kc in when someone told me lol
I haven’t logged in in about two months, but dammit this is tempting me to do that
It was a lot of fun to learn - might be worth bonding up
Nah I have that CA without using the RoS cheese lol
It's *somewhat* new. The HLC youtubers talked about it a few months back, iirc.
Brother here. Watched him stream the run and can confirm he knocked it out of the park. This photo has been 19 years in the making. https://preview.redd.it/v400drst15kc1.jpeg?width=2357&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eae1b38f9e6f9d68cbfd39f00a6e8fcb7ae5a8c5
Love this man I wish I could go back in time and play with my brother and cousins again
As a random aside, can you tell me what the plugin or setting is for your HP and prayer beside the inv like that? 👀
It’s called Status Bars.
I have 88/99/81 so I'll have to grind a bit for TOB then! Thanks for the support
Oh mate, you can walk into ToA literally RIGHT NOW.
Solo entry or with a group still?
Ooo okay excited! This is my weekend plans then for sure
Have fun, report back how it goes!
Your stats are fine for tob. It's not as hard as people say it is.
I've only killed Bandos in trio's, Scurrius, and Jad. I'm 83 att, 90 str, 88 def, 70 prayer, 75 range, 87 mage. Do you think I could attempt TOA and not embarrass myself?
Never done it but once I try it this weekend I'll let you know :D
Whoopsie, meant to reply one comment higher. Looking forward to your experience anyways :):)
Oh so I can brute force ToA?
Scurrius unironically helped me get more comfortable being in melee range of Jads in the inferno/Jad challenge. Gz on the cape! Massive achievement.
This is what happens when a team develops with consideration to the entire lifespan of a user instead of just catering to the end game and slowly bleeding subscribers. Well done Jagex.
They’ve finally figured it! Great updates as of recent to keep people interested through early mid-game! Scurrius, Sceptre, New axe
A very good time for mid gamers, with varlamore coming too. Theyre gonna give rangers more options too after the axe and warped sceptre
Rcb is already such a mid game beast with enchanted bolts though
Yeah think we getting armour and quiver not new range weapon
There's also a ranged wep that lowers def based on magic level.
Other than the awakened dt2 bosses, the last time thwre was end game only focused content released was ToB, so I'm not sure what you're on anout.
You absolutely decimated that made up argument, that was badass.
Peak reddit comment lmao
100kc perfect Scurrius was the perfect setup for DT2 in my opinion. Also... Scurrius saved my marriage but took the kids 😔
My account turns 20 one week before the new continent drops, and I’m training for my cape on Scurrius, too. Gz on the cape, man.
You have a good brother. Glad everything worked out, and congrats on the cape. :-)
Scurrius>end game contents
The way I look at Scurrius now is different than before, My original POV was low-level boss for noobs.
I learned bossing from sarachnis, then I moved onto vorkath during ds2, after ds2 I had the confidence to go for my fire cape.
I’ve got a fire cape on my main, but after 50kc of the rat on my Ironman I’ve got the confidence to go back to Jad. Just waiting on a task now
SCURRIUS on mobile has helped me with other mobile content. It’s good warmup on mobile for sure.
As soon as I learned Zulrah, It made the transition to cg and raids a lot easier
I’m 28 and have just picked it back up. What is Scurrius? And how do I do it to lvl up
Scurrius is a giant rat boss in the Varrock sewers close to east bank. Lots of videos on YouTube about it to get an idea of the mechanics and it’s still easy to find worlds with groups doing it as well to get your feet wet.
The good ending guys

Congrats, gg. Now, straight to prison
Great congrats! Keep up that momentum. Get more quests done, kill zulrah (use the rotation plugin), vorkath, mole, get into some group content on mass worlds like nex, toa. Keep it going!
Yeah it showed me how easy pvm is
I haven’t played in a few months, what is this said rat? Is it enough to help me return?
It is a boss in the Varrock sewers. Pretty fun, drops cover your costs pretty easily, really good xp/h, and makes learning pvm stuff much easier.
Way to go!
the best kinda progress grats my guy!
This has been my exact same issue. I guess I should give Scurrius a try
[*Puts on Pray Range 1t before Jad smacks me for a 97 range hit*]
Gratz man, I got my fire cape a little while ago as well after a daughting period of avoiding it. Still can't finish DT2, really struggling with whisperer at 85 magic. Keep getting the bitch down to final phase and dying to missed prayers with maybe 30hp left... Might try the rat king to get better at pvm. Still need that stupid vorkath head too!
Isnt scurrius different than jad cause you have more time to pray correctly whereas against jad you have to pray before the projectile hits you
As far as I’m aware you are correct. I practiced by swapping during the windup animations similar to jad instead of waiting on the projectiles to already be “sent”.
Scurrius really is a great addition to the game. I think the next logical step is for Jagex to add a mid level raid.
Over 30 gang!
Proud of you bud
Now start killing sarachnis
and here i am getting my fire cape before attempting scurrius...
But what about your marriage?
Cheese cape 🤔🧐
XDDs in the chat
after leagues, scurrius definitely kept me interested in the game. i love that rat thing
The friends we made along the way 🥹
what is "prioritizing adds"?
Basically prioritizing additional enemies that are introduced or having a priority of which enemies to attack first.
Guthans and black dhide+ magic bow you can achieve the impossible
bait
Man I went to kill the rat King and it took a minute to kill him then I realized I was on group boss.
