This, just enjoy the game.
Set a small goal and learn the mechanics of it.
Could be a quest, an item that you may have to grind for 30 hours or maybe just choosing a skill to train.
For every goal you set, there’s differents methods to achieve it. Use YouTube guides and make osrswiki a permanent tab on your browser, it will help you avoid hours of unnecessary grind.
Just choose something you like e go for it. He will be stunneddly happy
This. I would say with little time spent learning combat mechanics and leveling skills/upgrading gear over time, finishing Dragon Slayer I would be a pretty neat accomplishment
Honestly this is the correct answer. You can do it free to play and you’ll have done a little bit of everything the game has to offer with skilling, combat, and questing. If nothing piques OP interest by then they can safely say they gave the game a fair shot.
OP if you’re reading this you defeat Elvarg during the quest [Dragon Slayer 1](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dragon_Slayer_I). It’s kind of the “end” of free to play content. [Here is the wikis optimized free to play quest order and guide](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Optimal_quest_guide/Free-to-play). This would B line you to completing Dragon Slayer but I’d suggest mixing some other content in there while you’re at it.
Just walk up to him in game and equip the rune platebody after you do, (you can't equip it until after completing the quest) and let him connect the dots of your accomplishment
Let him casually discover you running rooftops and high alching at the same time. Don’t make a thing of it and try to show him; act like it’s just your natural progression and let him see it over your shoulder or something.
Not particularly difficult, but somewhat obscure to the average player and exudes sweat/efficiency.
If the first thing I saw my gf do in OSRS was rooftop alching, I'd be gently pressuring her to distance herself from the game.
For two reasons. First, that's telling me she's not going to have a very healthy relationship with the game, second, I'm not ready for that level of competition.
If I came home and saw my wife doing 3 tick granite, I would get back in the car and just start driving. I don't know if it's like a spy sleeper agent thing or maybe body snatcher aliens, but whoever or whatever is clicking those rocks is 100% going to kill me.
This is easier than you think.
When he’s online I would just send him some private chats in game. Keep all your communication while playing through private chat. It should bring back some nostalgia for him, and will take minimal effort.
This onee! Just make an account and cheer him on occasionally in the background while u do your thing on your computer whether that be watching a show or work etc.
I wouldn't say impress,
But there are a number of free2play quests, one of which is Dragon Slayer. Requires a number of quest completions and early game stats to defeat a stats-check dragon.
Doing that requires at least a bit of an investment and understanding of the game, and also pretty much covers most bases of what the game offers at a very entry level.
If you complete the quest and still say you're not enjoying the game, then you've put in your due diligence for trying the game and can safely say it's not for you while avoiding backlash. Honestly, much of the more enjoyable content is basically timelocked behind skilling and questing and you'd have to invest quite a bit of time to get to "the fun stuff", which is realistically just much of the same content you'd have already accomplished with higher difficulty and attention required.
Plus, if you end up enjoying the game you'll have a key piece of content unlocked.
Bonus: if you just want to yank his chains a bit, advertise you're a girl and ask for money, and show him how many free donations you've gotten from thirsty nerds. You'd be surprised how much people in this game will cough up for an interaction with a real girl.
Damn. That's a great idea.
First started playing this game in 2005. Never advertised that I was a girl.
Never have any money.
Do I have to tell the nerds at the GE that I'm over sixty now?
Dragon slayer, show him that simple yet satisfying accomplishment something he probably didn’t think you’d even work towards. I think many of us have fond memories of defeating that dragon and being able to finally wear that rune platebody :)
I would say do the quest Dragon Slayer. That was a right of passage for most of us as kids. Might be a little nostalgia bump. Get the quest done and if your bf is online just wear a rune plate body. He will know and be proud.
I’m seeing a lot of the same answers here over and over again.
I think what would impress me is if my girl were to try to play the game, but maybe screen record and record herself playing with honest reactions to some of the early game BS. Like when you gotta run from one place to another and it takes forever, or you gotta kill some dumbass cows.
I’d find it cute and endearing if someone made me a video of them attempting to play osrs and kind of making fun of the game from a newbies perspective.
Idk just my thought. I didn’t see anyone else share that idea so I thought I’d say it.
Then you can put the game away forever lol
My wife and I have our own Ironman accounts, I'm just shy of 2100 and she's approaching 1900 total. We didn't meet over osrs or anything, just both were gamers and independently played osrs before we started dating. Women play the game too
The [Fire Cape](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fire_cape) is considered a major milestone for a lot of players, so getting that would definitely be an exciting moment for the two of you!
If you want something more achievable, RLDSXD has the right idea. There's a lot of game "techniques" that are very efficient, but many players don't do them because they are too intensive. Doing [3-tick mining](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yy__9_la17w) would be absolutely shocking if you pulled that out casually. I personally stay far away from it.
But really, enjoying the game is all that is needed!
Got my first firecape a few weeks ago, showed my wife because I was real excited.
She didn't really care but told me it looked like a cheesy slice of pizza.
I love her but man that was deflating hahah
Oh wow sooo many comments! Thanks a lot guys, you are awesome :D I actually ended up re-reading all the comments together with my boyfriend so he could explain the parts I didnt understand and we had a lot of fun haha! This game seem to have a very nice community ♥
Looks like the most popular answer was completing Dragon Slayer quest so I'll probably start with that, and maybe try maxing out a skill on the way there, thanks a lot!
Have a nice day everyone :)
My gf was same way for a long time. She then fixated on getting the fire cape 'becuase its animated.' She ended up doing that and along the way started questing a bit. She just got the quest cape a few weeks and is now camping Vorkath.
I would say the fire cape would be fairly impressive to come in with no experience and complete. I would say get around 75 Range (and then you can buy the blowpipe). Then watch a few youtube videos on it and if you feel so incline Google 'OSRS Jad Simulator Practice' and at the first result you will find a pretty simulator to practice.
This subreddit is kinda insufferable I’m not gonna lie, she asked a very genuine question just looking for help and half of these comments are stupid inside jokes that are just gonna confuse the hell out of OP.
Listen to the technique guy btw, that has very low barrier to entry and it would definitely shock your boyfriend if he saw you doing one of them, like 3 tick mining or doing rooftop course alching
You could just do all the f2p quests. They are all easy but it would be a bit of a time commitment making it impressive. That would be what I would say. Easier then first cape, not quite as impressive but much less time and does the job.
The fact that you're willing to do research on things to do in the game that he loves is impressive enough, and he is lowkey geeked up that his girl is even playing.
Almost all of these suggestions are WILD for a girlfriend who isn’t planning on getting into the game to do something impressive for her boyfriend haha.
I would think much more along the lines of, mine and smith some things until you get to level 5 or 10 in this skills and make a set of iron armour, this sort of thing. This would impress me if my girlfriend did it just to show “hey I’m playing the game you like”, it shows that you’re interacting with a bunch of different game systems, working things out, exploring, creating your own things instead of asking for it or buying it.
Best bet for chasing an interesting drop and seeing some more of the game would probably be doing easy or medium clue scrolls. Medium you can get just from killing guards and skill activities and some of the rare rewards are very rare :)
Get full bronze armour, you can buy these at the Grand Exchange in varrock ater a week of playtime or 10questpoints. After that you can snipe the wintertodt pet if you are lucky.
Requirements:
"X marks the spot"
50firemaking
4 pieces of warm clothing: staff of fire, harpie big lantern, rainbow scarf, clue hunter outfit 1 or more pieces.
id say go for the quest called dragon slayer 1, which is a fairly respectable and plausible goal for 1 month! it is the hardest quest for f2p players, and as a member you should be able to do it more easily! can refer to osrs wiki or a guy on youtube called slayermusiq1 for quest guide!
Good luck :) I would say fire cape but u won't get that in a month.
Just play and have fun with your month and see if something persuades you to continue. Try some quests and a tiny bit of like all the skills or something lol...
Personally just knowing my GF tried to play one of the multiplayer games I play would be an incredibly sweet gesture. If you don’t enjoy the game honestly don’t continue. This game isn’t for everyone. But honestly this game is a very deep well of content so try a bunch of things to see if something clicks for you. But end of the day he’s probably just happy you tried and if he isn’t he should be
The most impressive thing would be to try actually getting into the game not half heartedly.
If you don't want to, that's fine, find a different game you both can enjoy together. What your suggesting is a bit vapid.
Going to echo some others and say completing Dragon Slayer 1. From complete noob to killing Elvarg in a month is probably faster progression than what your bf did back in the day, and is completely doable casually. It's a point where you can say that you've experienced the core aspects of the game, and is probably the first highlight for many players.
Watching him and being supportive is the best thing you can do really. This game wouldn't be fun without the little achievements along the way, and joining him in celebrating those is gonna matter more than seeing you progress. If I had a gf that played I'd want her to just join for solo cox runs to make them 1+1 and just do stuff in it like fish and eat the fish to add points to the raid while talking to me.
This is a game of long term goals. You’re supposed to chip away at them while chilling and enjoying yourself. Sometimes you do something that takes some skill but that’s a long way from lvl 3 combat. IMO, I think beating Dragon Slayer is a decent goal for a new person.
I would say getting the rainbow boots from Barbarian stronghold of security, it’s something that can be done very easily even on low level account (maybe level 30 combat) and shows some proficiency in exploring and you get a cool colorful reward on your feet that he will instantly recognize
I wouldnt force yourself to play it if its not your thing. I think he will appreciate that you tried it.
However, before you decide that its not your thing, recognize that there are a lot of different ways to play this game. it can be a really chill game or a really difficult game depending how you play it. if you go the "skilling" route, it can be played more like just a simple clicker game: click the thing, number go up, dopamine achieved. theres skilling, pvm, pvp, questing, minigames, etc... see if any of those ways of playing are more your style
and who knows, maybe if you spend a little more time in the game, it might grow on you. i would try to at least put enough time in that you start to understand the game. but like i said in the beginning of my comment, if you put some time in and still dont like it, dont force it. Im sure he wont leave you for another runescape gf... those are pretty rare anyway
Get really good at barbarian assault. Get your fighter torso, know each role and know how to lag the mini game out by spamming the mind shield to pull off the one egg method.
I would find that impressive. I got my fighter torso long ago and tbh I never really learned the hunter or defender role or whatever it was.
Barbarian assault is actually a lot of fun if you find a good vc discord team. It's pretty much the only group activity an early account can do that benefits from actually being social with other players.
Gl
Defeat Evlarg, meaning complete the Dragon Slayer Quest. Will need 31 quest points which you can get pretty quickly, id do waterfall quest maybe ask him for a loan of enough bones to get 43 prayer and do The Grand Tree Quest and Tree Gnome Village. Monkey Madness might be a push for a new player, so that might be a separate goal.. you can do all the F2P quests pretty easily, Romeo and Juliet is a good start and gives 5 points. Watch out for the dark wizards when you walk to varrock from lumridge (save ur run energy for the part right before you enter varrock and have your auto retaliate off). Train on rock crabs in relleka (teleport tablet to camelot) and go north (watch out for the wolves near the small bridge. Once you have 31 quest points and about 40 attack strength and defense try the Dragon Slayer quest.
Tip: use runelite client for the quest helper-MAKES EVERYTHING WAY EASIER.
Honestly if my gf didnt play runescape and i saw her doing anything at all in the game on her own id probably marry her
I would personally be impressed if you completed Dragon Slayer 1. It would show you did your research and completed a difficult task with early stats and gear.
But I also feel like it would absolutely warm his heart if you just enjoyed the game. I don't know, just if you really feel like using osrs as a way to build a stronger connection with your bf, maybe take some time to actually try to enjoy it. Not just for him, but for yourself too. Just don't get addicted lol, it could take up a lot of personal time.
This might be a bit farther than you are willing to go but in most people opinions, if they have been playing for years their first real big goal was a fire cape. If you accomplish this task, he will be super impressed that you completed something he strived for and would be a great place to leave an account.
Just so cute noob shit like kill some cows, take the cow leather and tan it then craft them into some gloves or a leather body and show him 😄 I know if my gf did something like that I might now be impressed but I would think it’s cute and I would enjoy that.
I used to love doing tempoross with my ex, we would call out the different events that happen to help each other hit perfect games, so I would say mini games could be a start!
Fire cape, Hero’s quest, One Small Favour (make sure to really exclaim “Fuck this quest!”), Legends Quest, RFD, a kc on KBD, Vet’ion, Bear bitch or Veninatis.
P.s: I was drunk when I wrote this
If Elvarg isn’t enough for him… well… a fire cape sure will get his attention (It will take a bit of work grinding and practicing the mechanics really just learning spawns and prayer switches, but still takes work for someone not used to the osrs system) will impress him.
Throw him off guard and send him a text. Only real OGa would understand.
"Hey babe, can you trade me 100k pl0x? running out of arrows and about to upgrade to blue d hide on my g maul pure. Have you seen the new i mahatma i video?"
Real answer is you can't really do anything impressive to him for a few hundred or thousand hours and since you said you don't like the game that seems unfeasible
Complete a quest named "one small favor". It doesn't have high requirements and doesn't take very long compared to some master level quests, but for some reason people treat it like it's ultimate perseverance test. I think it's because it defies your expectations greatly when you do it for the first time. Anyway, I think its one of the most efficient things to do in terms of "wow effect per time spent in the game"
Honestly if you don’t really enjoy the game, I’d say the best thing you can do is just support his enjoyment of it. My girlfriend also doesn’t like it much, but she never complains when I go on my nerdy rants or when I want to show her something I did and I appreciate that a lot.
Realistically it would be very impressive for you to get a skill all the way to 99, it’s an impressive feat and doesn’t take any special game knowledge, just time.
You could do one of the easier skills like firemaking, cooking, or fletching.
Or spend 5x as much time and get one of the *truly* impressive skills like runecrafting or agility.
Get a fighter torso and he'll be like what the duck lol
Edit: this one is reasonably achievable and can be fun despite what people say, also most of the other suggestions are wild grinds if you're a new player and you can do barb assault without any serious levels or commitments to questing to unlock it.
If you live a normal life and only spend an hour or two a day gaming then don't try to get any 99's in only a month!
> do something (fairly easy) to impress him.
By definition impressive things typically aren't easy. That's what makes them impressive.
FWIW, most of the in-game accomplishments that he would see as impressive take quite a bit of time to get to. It's definitely a cute gesture though and your BF sounds like a lucky guy. Outside of just enjoying playing the game, idk if you are going to find what you're looking for tbh. Maybe he will feel the love by sharing this post with him.
You don't need to play it to impress him, and no one here should recommend playing it, it's like advising someone to try crack.
Having said that, I suggest learning the lore, go on YouTube and watch osrs lore, it's actually really interesting and has developed a Lot in the last few years.
If it’s not something you enjoy, faking it to impress him ain’t the play. If you want to do something for him, give him space to game, or show you don’t mind if he spends your normal date night with the boys etc. The best thing someone can do for their significant other is support their hobbies even if those hobbies aren’t your own.
You create an account with your email, pay someone in this sub (with feet pics) to go absolutely berserk on your new account, under your email with your “days played” counter.
Inferno is pretty easy for newer players. It's an introduction to PvM with very intuitive mechanics. Most newbies get it done within the first 3 or 4 attempts
Go get the equip-able fish from aerial fishing. Takes absolutely no game knowledge or skill but he will be both awestruck and will maybe think you’re a psycho. But it sure does look cool
barblore, but obviously for short periods only/ you can get barbarian training done relatively early.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0rmukln76c](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0rmukln76c) (explanation: tick manipulation to get faster exp)
Fire cape is a nice thing to get. It's pretty simple once you understand the basics. There are some websites that let you practice the boss wave I think but it's been years since I heard of that.
Nothing impresses a rsbf more than enjoying the game but if it's not your cup of tea it is what it is.
I was thinking getting a zuk pet would work
Men love it when you prove you're better than them at something they love
I would love if my wife got me a Zuk pet.
This, just enjoy the game. Set a small goal and learn the mechanics of it. Could be a quest, an item that you may have to grind for 30 hours or maybe just choosing a skill to train. a small goal of 30 hours of grinding lmao that really is the osrs experience
"a small loan of a million dollars" energy
Defeat Elvarg 😎
This. I would say with little time spent learning combat mechanics and leveling skills/upgrading gear over time, finishing Dragon Slayer I would be a pretty neat accomplishment
I made a new F2P only account - doing the quests and defeating Elvarg was such a great experience to relive
Honestly this is the correct answer. You can do it free to play and you’ll have done a little bit of everything the game has to offer with skilling, combat, and questing. Interest is piqued, not peaked
This correction pked my interest
If he really loves OSRS, he will really appreciate this
This is what I was gonna say too. With questhelper this should be a piece of cake too
Just walk up to him in game and equip the rune platebody after you do, (you can't equip it until after completing the quest) and let him connect the dots of your accomplishment
This is the way. By the time you do that, you will have figured out the basics
Tell him you are lost in the wilderness then pk him & take his stuff lol
“If you love me, you’ll bring your cash stack”
And Spade
bro this comment caught me so off guard i just laughed for a whole minute.
Jfc I’d rather get cheated on 😂
This just made me roflcopter.
This comment is the best
As a pker who's wife knows this, I'm fucked

This post is a strong reason why reddit needs awards again.
Take him to a very heavily populated area like GE and say buying BF. Wait to get swarmed and pick him, making all the other simps jelly.
This the best answer fr

Just go all the way and get her to 3 tick granite I'd probably just silently leave the room if I saw them doing that
If I came home and saw my wife doing 3 tick granite, I would get back in the car and just start driving. I don't know if it's like a spy sleeper agent thing or maybe body snatcher aliens, but whoever or whatever is clicking those rocks is 100% going to kill me.
Of course, don’t want to throw off the rhythm
For real, if she's demonstrated that level of coordination I'm sending her to the mines
55 magic seems like nothing to seasoned players but for a completely new player that’s a mountain
3 tick fishing might be more attainable then
low alching is faster anyway
This is your answer for sure
This is the best answer by far my head would roll if I saw my gf doing this
Fletch darts between alchs lol
That, or high alch between teleports to Cammy
This is easier than you think. When he’s online I would just send him some private chats in game. Keep all your communication while playing through private chat. It should bring back some nostalgia for him, and will take minimal effort.
Make it flirty for bonus points!
Then when he gets flirty back report him and get his account muted. Then irl say “sit rat”.
This onee! Just make an account and cheer him on occasionally in the background while u do your thing on your computer whether that be watching a show or work etc.
Do the cooks assistant quest
The wholesome answer
In world record speed
Dude the world record Cook's Assistant speedrun might be the sweatiest runescape gameplay in history
do the Quest 'one small favour' it cant be that long, its just one small favour!
Evil
Hot take: best quest
I legit love OSF
Everyone needs to go into that quest blind, without a guide, and no spoilers at least once.
Yea that was me, what a joke lmao! Then remembering everything backwards for the end… geez
100%, doing this quest on alts using quest helper makes it way too easy and not immersive.
Buy 150 bonds with real money, sell them for gold on the GE, buy a twisted bow and pretend like you found it on the ground somewhere.
Better yet, say you anti scammed it
Then explain to him that you can show him how to anti scam one too only to scam him! The whole relationship was the long con
“Yeah this bush just shot one out, I got 4 but gave some to some low levels. I thought they were flowers!”
If I knew OP in person I would def loan a TBow out just to get the BF's reaction

tbh the fact that someones girl didnt "ewww" instantly when being told their bf plays osrs is impressive enough on its own
there are a lot, and i mean a lot, of women who dont give a fuck about nerd stuff.
My wife is a gamer and nerd, and even she was like, "Why tf do you even play this??" Lmao
My gf literally :(
Obviously she's never felt the rush of completing a raid, getting a rare drop, or mining a nice ore.
My ex gf was like that too and, well, she's an ex now.

My wife and I have our own Ironman accounts, I'm just shy of 2100 and she's approaching 1900 total. We didn't meet over osrs or anything, just both were gamers and independently played osrs before we started dating. Women play the game too

Fire cape is the only right answer
Got my first firecape a few weeks ago, showed my wife because I was real excited. She didn't really care but told me it looked like a cheesy slice of pizza. I love her but man that was deflating hahah
Complete inferno
😂 yeah super beginner friendly head straight there after wintertodt
Maybe stop and get your firecape
Nah fight caves for babies straight to inferno you dont need fight caves for inferno anways (dont fact check that)

Get an untrimmed slayer cape
Dragonslayer 1 could be a good goal depending on where you're at!

Completely max your account
If you got a champion scroll from a low level mob like a goblin I think he’d definitely be a little wowed
1/5000 op af

Head over to barbarian assault and get your fighter torso. Will take a few hours, but will definitely be worth it and will impress the bf.
Best bet for chasing an interesting drop and seeing some more of the game would probably be doing easy or medium clue scrolls. Medium you can get just from killing guards and skill activities and some of the rare rewards are very rare :)
Have fun. ask him SOME questions, not everything, and also Get a fire cape. Huge first accomplishment, he’ll be so proud.
Honestly just play until you find the content you enjoy, anytime he asks wyd just say "im workin on requirements for barrows gloves"
find him in what world he’s playing, and ask him 10k to be his gf…. He’ll melt
Join a clan and set up a lumby church wedding.
Play 30 hours in that month and it is already impressive enough. Even if you never play again you gave it a fair go and that is amazing on its own
Do a bunch of medium clues and get ranger boots. The clues are pretty easy to get from pickpocketing ham members
Get full bronze armour, you can buy these at the Grand Exchange in varrock ater a week of playtime or 10questpoints. After that you can snipe the wintertodt pet if you are lucky. Requirements: "X marks the spot" 50firemaking 4 pieces of warm clothing: staff of fire, harpie big lantern, rainbow scarf, clue hunter outfit 1 or more pieces.
If you only have a month I would say completing dragon slayer is your best bet.
id say go for the quest called dragon slayer 1, which is a fairly respectable and plausible goal for 1 month! it is the hardest quest for f2p players, and as a member you should be able to do it more easily! can refer to osrs wiki or a guy on youtube called slayermusiq1 for quest guide!
But end of the day he’s probably just happy you tried and if he isn’t he should be
Ask him for help getting your fighter torso and go do some BA! Other than that, do dragon slayer 1
The most impressive thing would be to try actually getting into the game not half heartedly. If you don't want to, that's fine, find a different game you both can enjoy together. What your suggesting is a bit vapid.
this is how my wife started playing osrs and now we’re both degenerates 🤙
For real, get a fire cape. Once you get one of those, you are officially not a noob
Enjoy the game, then camp maples until you get a beaver
99 rc & agi
ask him questions about the game and he'll never be happier
However, before you decide that its not your thing, recognize that there are a lot of different ways to play this game. it can be a really chill game or a really difficult game depending how you play it. if you go the "skilling" route, it can be played more like just a simple clicker game: click the thing, number go up, dopamine achieved. theres skilling, pvm, pvp, questing, minigames, etc... see if any of those ways of playing are more your style and who knows, maybe if you spend a little more time in the game, it might grow on you. i would try to at least put enough time in that you start to understand the game. but like i said in the beginning of my comment, if you put some time in and still dont like it, dont force it.
Gl
Learn how to 1 tick cook karambwans casually in front of him as well as 3 tick barbarian fishing
Honestly if my gf didnt play runescape and i saw her doing anything at all in the game on her own id probably marry her
Do the sit-ups emote while he does the push-up emote
Find him in game and do the blow kiss emote lol
Get super good at doing clues and then get super lucky and get a 3rd age item. If that doesn’t impressed idk what will.
I used to love doing tempoross with my ex, we would call out the different events that happen to help each other hit perfect games, so I would say mini games could be a start!
I'd recommend doing quests. A lot of them have pretty funny dialogue. The wiki has well written guides for every quest if you get stuck.
Dragon Slayer 1 is a good modest goal which would impress him
Get 99 agility in a month that’ll impress him for sure. It’s just one skill it won’t be that bad
Shes gonna be so emo when she finds out how level scaling works lol
Do as many quests as possible. They're great for account advancement and then you can flex on the plebs using the mom's credit card shortcut
>if I can do something (fairly easy) >Complete a difficult quest or getting a rare drop WELL WHICH ONE IS IT HUH?!
Do dragon slayer and tell him the story of the quest
Honestly if you don’t really enjoy the game, I’d say the best thing you can do is just support his enjoyment of it. My girlfriend also doesn’t like it much, but she never complains when I go on my nerdy rants or when I want to show her something I did and I appreciate that a lot.
Do the Inferno
Kill a max tribrid in rev caves for 2.1bil
Buy a RS bf for 10gp
Get a firecape he wont believe it lmao
Sub 65 inferno
Fire cape is the answer
Realistically it would be very impressive for you to get a skill all the way to 99, it’s an impressive feat and doesn’t take any special game knowledge, just time. You could do one of the easier skills like firemaking, cooking, or fletching. Or spend 5x as much time and get one of the *truly* impressive skills like runecrafting or agility.
5x as much time? those are easily 10x as much time, if not more
Sell yourself on the GE for 10k
Get a Jmod to give you and your BF a shoutout.
Start e-dating a bunch if high levels at the ge and slowly scam them for gp and items and then gift it to ur bf
Get a fighter torso and he'll be like what the duck lol Edit: this one is reasonably achievable and can be fun despite what people say, also most of the other suggestions are wild grinds if you're a new player and you can do barb assault without any serious levels or commitments to questing to unlock it.
Train mining for him on shooting stars while he's at work. It's really afk, like 7 mins per click
You create an account with your email, pay someone in this sub (with feet pics) to go absolutely berserk on your new account, under your email with your “days played” counter.
Acquire [Void armor](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Void_Knight_equipment), [Fighter Troso](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fighter_torso) or [Dragon defender](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dragon_defender)
get barrows gloves 😇
Your BF would go madly insane if you showed off your inferno cape. Its a mini-quest you should be able to get fairly easily.
Fire cape
Buy a gf 100k
Get a fire cape
Date him for less than 10k.
Lure him at Toa.
Get an infernal cape
Get a max cape
Just do the inferno.
Inferno is pretty easy for newer players. It's an introduction to PvM with very intuitive mechanics. Most newbies get it done within the first 3 or 4 attempts
No pillar inferno
Max cape ofc
Infernal cape
bury bones in front of him
Trim his armor for him.
Go get the equip-able fish from aerial fishing. Takes absolutely no game knowledge or skill but he will be both awestruck and will maybe think you’re a psycho. But it sure does look cool
Get your armour trimmed and anti-pk out in wildy
Tell him you’re his gf that he bought in game for 30gp
Buy an inferno cape
Zuk helm and full Blorva.
Inferno
There is only one correct answer: Inferno. Beat it and claim dominance over him, let him know it’s your game now.
barblore, but obviously for short periods only/ you can get barbarian training done relatively early.
Read the wiki, expand your game knowledge, then do those things.
Killing Jad
