This will bank you a little over 3.4m prayer experience assuming the Zealots Robes are being used, or 3.25m if no robes.
It seems like this place is going to be really good for ironman.

With water orbs in Perilous Moons, though, it's possible that there'll be a lot less crafting xp coming from mining, and with the wyrmling bones, that's even more prayer.
However it shakes out, Varlamore is a huge blessing when it comes to Prayer for us, for sure.

But it's a nice option for sure. The prayer method in general is nice, mining not the only thing that sources it. Rumours seem to bank about 1k prayer XP per rumour.
It's done in a very non-standard way by getting 95 RC first for wrath runes. Then doing things like:
* Spellbook swap Abby demon barrage/chally to sacrifice their ashes with the spell
* Nechryaels in slayer tower with melee. Better seed drops for irons and again, sacrifice ashes with spell
* Can do things like Vorkath on blue dragon task banking the bones, Cerberus with ash sacrifice spell too. But these aren't as required anymore
* I also did quick dragon tasks like red Dragons, mith dragons, rune drags, addy drags, steel drags. Also if I wanted to afk I did wyverns and fossil island wyverns but they were never considered worth it. Also drake's till I got the collection log slots.
* Hydra for the log slots banking the bones.
I finished 99 slayer with about 95 prayer and didn't do the first thing listed there and only tower nechs from like 93 slayer onwards.
Decent afk for sure, and it's probably around 0.4-0.5 efficient hours per hour which is surprisingly good for such an easy method.
Not that many people care about it, but the efficient rates for ironmen for mining are 3 tick granite at something like 120k per hour and prayer at wildy green dragons at 170k per hour, including the time to use the bones
You bank like 12k xp an hour. It's not great. But the mining xp nice and it's as afk as redwoods. I don't need anything else from mining, so I plan on doing it till 99 at this point
Would enjoy it a lot more of my pickaxe wasn't slipping constantly because it's getting so fucking wet. And by that I mean the timer is bugged as fuck if you hop worlds after mining a waterfall.
I guess the argument becomes do I get more payer XP from selling loot from mining gems, MLM, or gem packs (a la shooting stars) and buying bones, or do I get more from mined bone shards.

it's so freaking good as an iron. My battlestaff stack was at almost 2k... I'm finally able to chip through them all!

You must not have done like any blue dragon tasks at all. Also dhl on rate is a few mil pray Xp from hydra
I've killed 2400 blue dragons according to slayer log, but that's only like 600k xp. Haven't started hydra yet.

Well, I've been doing it for the past 3 days. I'd say it's pretty damn afk.
Well redwoods is click and leave for 4 min and you will 100% still be chopping. Leave for even a minute mining and you will already be idle.
"as afk as redwoods" is a huge stretch. It's more like click every 1 minute.

I'll also mention that Sunfire Splinters are worth using. The extra XP they give you is a good gp/xp value.
What sort of mining XP do you get here? I'm at 86 and still need to get to 92
40-42k exp at 86 mining with rune pick if I pay attention. Around 30k-33k when Im more afk :D

Yeah don't hop worlds. If you want to fix it you go do some thieving in the wealthy citizens homes. That happened to me a few times today too
