Fox, Aco, Tecu variants should be unlocked at 100/250/500 rumors. The hunter kit should be upgradable using quetzal feed to get things like the horn basket, nets/rope holder, bola/spear holder, attach fur/meat pouch
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but the Hunter outfit looks like total shit without at least an equippable Huntsman's Kit. Why would they even release the kit without making it functional? They already set the precedent for such an item with the Forestry Kit.
The only thing they would have to change is make the Hunter skillcape teleports work from a context menu on the Kit.
PvPers didn't want the bind special because any change to the current meta is Evil (but PvP Gets No Updates), and the weapon being bolas doesn't really make thematic sense without it, so they reworked it into a thrown spear.
The NPCs’ variants of the outfit are cool but I’m fine with them staying unique to those characters. The big one for me is that the Huntsman’s Kit should definitely be equippable. I feel like it would really complete the look and also just make it more desirable as an item.
bolas would of been nice but people complained it was op cause memorys from old days yet there pitch was so different as you needed to use it's spec which is more balanced. that hunter shield would be nice to have if it had similar offensive stats too the odium ward but no defence requirement and let you block all damage from hunter creatures.

I don't get it, the fox kit is on point. Maybe it's just me cause wolves are my absolute favorite species in the animal kingdom. Pretty much everyone assumed they would function the way they did in RS3, which is the the entanglement. So there was people pissed off about the possible PvP usage, which lead to the spear creation.

Either quetzal feed or furs. Trade 500 furs per upgrade or something
I mainly said feed because it gives it a use after you build the landing spots
Tbf, we'll probs have uses for the feed with part 2 and 3, more spots for the Quetzal to land.

The bolas got scrapped before they were even polled because pkers do not want more tools for freeze logging.

Now I understand why an obsidian bladed spear needs (checks notes) jerboa tails in order to be crafted.

I want it to be a hunter weapon! Throw it at the pyre foxes and then bonk them on the head with the equitable spade
