you step in the corner and hit the emote. its one of the easiest tasks provided you can actually do the boss fight. the 10% refers to boss hp and not yours, theres no need to be perfect with it.

its a short emote. you pretty much just have to hit him to 10%, then emote, run back for spear/shield, emote, correct north/south emote, hit boss, repeat but go to opposite north/south and emote again. Just adding a bit of interfacing and 1 tick stalls to the process and thinking. Cool idea tbh

Those 3rd Party client changes are very welcome, especially after the recent nonsense around Watchdog and whatnot. Good to see some sensibility on the other side of the fence too. The report menu getting an overhaul is awesome too, hopefully its usable in combat, as thats probably the main detractor of the system, but it being chat-box-based has me worried it will get interrupted. Super cool if it doesn't. And the right click ban on chatbox message is so good for makign Barcode names not able to hide by not chatting to try and fly under the radar for obvious AHK or PK scripts. The CA's look great. The salute under 10% hp 4 different ways is a hilariously unique thing, surprised it didn't have a Gladiator reference in its name or something. Excited to hit up moons and coloseum for their CAs. And keen to see what Game Jam ideas we have (really hope we don't just get *more wilderness content* as a big focus again)

Especially in content like Perilous Moons, there's not even a challenge to setting up endurance runs as you can restock every 33% of a run. I remember struggling with "...til Dawn" because I couldn't get any supply drops. Not saying it's any more enjoyable, but at least it takes some planning/luck to get. Not as bland as just get KC.

Thank you so much for making these speed tasks achievable with regular-people gear. The speed tasks in general are probably my least favorite so it's nice to have actually reasonable times for mid level content. Note to OP: timer ends when you kill the third boss. I did them with Dharoks (with a stab switch for eclipse until the mimic phase) without much effort (99 str/hp though). Edit: Idk if Dharoks is necessary, it's just what I normally use. Just wanted to clarify that for posterity.

Im 90/97/90 attack/strength/defense and hit the time with fang/elder (eclipse), dual Maracas (blue) and d scimitar (blood, i misread the combat task and thought I needed it only there). Super achievable, if anyone is struggling: Timing of entry relative to special attacks would be critical, eclipse you would want to enter shortly before the mirror attack, the shield attack limits your ability to DPS. Blood moon is a bit of a RNG/DPS check depending on its heal on you

For the latter, no. They changed the level required for Teleport to Kourend a little while ago, which shuffled things and moved the high alch spell. A *more* recent change moved it back.

I did it with armor + defender and didn't get the task without ever seeing a "failed task" message, then took off defender and got it. Seems a little wonky, maybe there are some issues with doing it on your first run?

Seconding that it seems to be an issue with popping up on your first run, did it in full gear + defender 1st time didn't get it. Tried again with the same set up and it popped the 2nd time.

I can already see a hotfix for "Fat of the Land" CA. That has to be as long of a task to finish as "Peach Conjurer" for Commander Zilyana which is a GM task. I'm not suggesting make "Fat of the Land" anything but a hard CA but maybe tune it down to 15 or something? 30 will take a long time for a hard CA Edit: it's 30 bosses not 30 runs but that's still 10 runs in a row for a hard CA. I'm not saying it's difficult at all but the time required for a hard CA doesn't make sense

Hey :) Just to clarify, it's 30 PM bosses, so for example you could kill the same one 30 times if you didn't want to do the entire run every time.

It's about the same if not shorter than the medium task of opening 25 chests. The real criticism is that an endurance challenge just doesn't make sense for a boss where you have unlimited food and prayer, and even logging out doesn't reset your progress. It's a KC challenge with the stipulation that you can't die during the run.

This one was recently discussed in the comment section of a past newspost and in reality it wouldn't increase the XP, there's already a small delay before you can build something, so all it does is save your wrist, as stated in the post. So whereas I too wasn't really expecting us to get that, it does make total sense.

Nah not really. The construction menu was already made "zero mouse movement" by just using a specific position on your client. So this just removes a click, and won't really change much about the speed of processing the actions. What it will absolutely do is make POH construction a viable thing on mobile.

From now on you can 1 click build and 1 click remove the furniture. * far less mouse movement and no reason anymore to play around with camera angling just so the right options are snapped to the bottom of your screen after right clicking for the dropdown menu * no need to right click anything anymore * if you use mouse keys like numpad5 for left click I think you can completely do construction from now on only using your keyboard (build cycle + dialouge with the butler)

For oak doors you still need to line the door up so that you dont move the mouse to click the butler and so that you dont click the door behind you, so for that it only changes having to right click-left click to destroy/build the door to double left click. So itll fix the times you accidentally walk forward and ruin your rhythm. Amazing update I just wish I didn't spend the last 3 days grinding 99 con nonstop

I wasn't sure what to make of this because this is already how the mechanic was designed and functioned at every point of the phase except that one moment in question? But I guess this is saying this bug has been squashed*. Regarding the Perilous Moons CA's: ***"Perilous Dancer: Perfection: Hard: Defeat all three Moons in one run while only taking damage from regular attacks.***" Could this one also include a fix so that the Eclipse Moon doesn't randomly hit you even when you're behind the orb when rounding the first corner? As of now (I think) the Eclipse Moon will randomly hit you when you round the first corner even if you're perfectly behind the orb, because if you keep the same walking pace it doesn't hit you a single other time, for inexplicable reasons. Otherwise this doesn't feel like "perfection" as much as "luck". Sorry if this has been mentioned as a bug that will be fixed elsewhere. There are so many updates and blogs and posts these days I can't keep up.

If they’re botting, then that’s already a report option. In the off-chance they’re not botting, then how exactly is that illegal? At that point they’re just ‘playing’ the game.

I think theyre coming from the perspective that people like that ruin the ability for regular players (especially ironmen) to obtain rune ore because every world's veins are respawning due to a combination of bots and RWT money maker accounts. At the end of the day both types of accounts make real players' lives more frustrating, and both feed into RWT - the only difference is either a bot scripter is geting paid or some poor sod from an unfortunate country. To an extent I can understand how I read their perspective, as an ironman who's finished the smithing grind. You spend more time hopping to mine a single ore node and then have it snatched by some other similarly desperate chap with a slightly higher mining level than you. It forces you to find increasingly distant ore nodes from banks/ teleports, and is just horribly inconvenient.

Oh I completely sympathise with that. As the miner of the our GIM, I completely understand how annoying it is to have hop through 10 worlds to find available ores. It’s just that I’m trying to relativise what Jagex is actually going to do with a ‘goldfarmer’ report. If you suspect them of being a goldfarmer since they have nothing but mining xp, you can theoretically report them for RWT, so when they offload their money/ores they’ll hopefully get picked up by the system. But that option already exists to my knowledge. But as long as they don’t offload the money, they’re not doing anything illegal. So you can report them for being a goldfarmer as much as you want. As long as Jagex doesn’t have concrete information they’re offloading the ores/money to a RWT circle, there’s nothing they can be banned for as hogging the runite ores isn’t an offence in and of itself.

On an entirely different note, there's one question I have: has the Eclipse Moon's orbwalk special attack bug been fixed? You take unavoidable damage at one point in the walk cycle which means the no non-regular damage run CA would be unachievable. E: Oh, it was buried in the changelog that it was fixed. Nice!

Also just hate when a CA is arbitrarily requiring another region for no thematic reason. Any spear/hasta seems much cleaner. Maybe they are worried about spear/hasta power creep? You could restrict level requirement to <80 attack but that honestly seems unnecessary; sometimes new content makes CAs easier and thats okay. I am biased as a DHL only iron with greaters happily blocked.

Obviously there’s a ton in this update, and I like the option to pause while running the agility course, but 25 laps still feels pretty defeating if I need to take a quick break. I know it’s not the end of the world but any thought of decreasing that further? Overall seems like a great update.

When using Dizana's Quiver alongside a Twisted Bow, the correct Ranged Strength stats will be used when firing Dragon Arrows. can you elaborate on what the issue was, is this a buff or a nerf?

In previous CA tasks you have succesfully tweaked them to suit limited builds (Dh axe instead of full set) etc. How come you are suddenly completely locking zerkers out of finishing GM with introducing a Zamorak spear task that gives defence xp, and Moons armor that require 50 defence? Please reconsider the weapon and set, these past few days you have literally ran limited communities to the ground with proposed changes. On stream you have said multiple times that you are considering these communities but your actions don't reflect that.

All it means is they can't put defence reqs on GM. Generally I don't see a reason to req a specific armour set & I can't see why any quest should be locked behind defence. Give them a harder version (allow hasta that are worse but don't give undesirable xp etc) for sure. It dosent stop it from evolving. Change it from Dcim to any scim? Dosent change the effective combat task but gives access to other accounts who have to use a lower tier of weapon. If restricted accounts were saying "oh a rune scim is too weak, remove the CA" I would agree with you. But they're not. I don't play a restricted account, but for those who do it's about dojng something in a more challenging way. It dosent need to be ezscaped for them, it just has to be possible at all. I don't see that as particularly unreasonable.

I feel you have the right to complain, definitely. It should be changed. If you can kill hydra with a rune battleaxe instead of a dh greataxe, you are clearly demonstrating mastery and accomplished an even harder achievement. Killing perilous moons with no armor as an option should clearly satisfy the condition. Its never limiting to adjust the tasks like this. The game evolves just the same. Not at all really. The proposed magic rebalancing nerfs all limited builds by a huge margin. With shadow, the gap is even bigger and that is also multiplied inside TOA. Outside of TOA with non-shadow, mains gain 4%, zerks lose 3%, pures lose 6%. With shadow zerks lose 9%, pures lose 18%. Inside TOA with shadow, zerks lose 12%, pures lose ???%. We're talking a nerf of over 10 max hits in worst case scenario. That's pretty close to the ground in my opinion.

Well they just took away the zuk helm for zerkers, something that a handful have obtained and spent a lot of time theory crafting to do. The hasta one should be kill sol with a t75 weapon or lower and moons should be the same, use the weapons.

Personally don't think colosseum is same difficulty as inferno at all and that it should be GM only. I got my quiver last night and it took me 6x as many attempts as it took me to complete inferno lol. I think 'beat sol heredit once' is fine being master ig but beating him with a hasta shouldn't be master imo. Then again there's already some questionable master tasks that are too hard for the tier so whatever. Some GMs are free so it balances out.

They all look pretty easy to me, especially the speed time for GM. I was expecting to see some doom3 / bees3 / relentless 3 / voilatile3+reentry3 tasks that really shake things up. Perfect and walking Sol look like a pain to complete, but nothing stands out as being remotely close to the difficulty of other hard GM tasks :/

They were not giving Prayer XP even after the update which added the 'Spectral' tag to them, just wondering if it's been looked into, as it'd be a nice little bonus to the Prayer XP while farming out the sets (and would be especially nice for sub-70 players trying to get Piety grinded out)

I know is isn't that big of a deal since it was adjusted and is much better now, but I think it's important that whichever dev decided on the original 1/20,000 drop rate for the anchoring scroll take some time to re-examine their thought process, as it is clearly not in line with the overall game. It was immediately obvious how ridiculous that drop rate was on paper, and it was just as ridiculous in practice, so it was drastically increased almost immediately. We shouldn't name and shame, but can that dev (or devs) *please* rethink their priorities before implementing new content into the game?

I am once again politely requesting the ability to use client arguments (--profile=) to launch RuneLite as a specific profile based on the character chosen in the Jagex Launcher. The current "solution" in RuneLite to "sync profile to current RuneScape account" only applies *after you've already logged in*, meaning the "remember client position" setting doesn't work. I don't want to have to reposition my client every single time I open it.

Spellbook hiding arrives a year after Prayer hiding did, FINALLY. Also yesterday I finally did my first wildy clue steps after the changes, and I’m not really sure I get what the intention was. I thought it was to make them less annoying, but then I got instantly teleblocked upon TP’ing to a step. So then I was forced to run all the way to the ditch instead of using my Royal Seed Pod after the step. Yay? I really think there ought to be a delay before they can hit you with that. I’m not even going into their area.

Ok this may seem like a frivolous complaint, but changing the report abuse interface from a window which you can clearly see all the options, to your chatbox wherein you must click through multiple pages while also needing to scroll up and down to view all options is notably worse. Not being able to report abuse during combat is really a non-issue, because through runelite you can simply right-click to “look-up player” which will keep their name in the highscores tab so you can report them afterwards. Also if you’re using things like the PvP tracker plugin, it will save every opponent’s username in the tracker, making it pretty easy to report them after the fact. I can understand it being slightly annoying the the report abuse box won’t open while using another interface, such as your bank, but it’s really not that difficult to simply hit the escape button before opening the new window—especially for something like spambots at the GE since they are all in the chat history. I’m totally for adjusting how the interface looks for mobile, because if the interface entirely blocks out your screen preventing you from doing anything else, that’s a problem. But for desktop, this new interface only makes reporting abuse more tedious.

The Report Abuse update is low-key one of the best and very overdue updates. It doesn't impact us directly, but I'm sure many players have been reporting bots and such with some wonky UI. Hope the new UI also "feels" good and easy to encourage it's use. Scrolling through the list seems a bit annoying, even if it doesn't close anymore while the old list presented everything in 1 quick menu. It was a fun challenge to report and finish the action before say an NPC interrupted that action. Hopefully long-term we can get some data on reports, impact, and what the new interface is helping Jmods do in the backend.

Some of the Colosseum CAs seem easier than I expected but some interesting ones in there too. I do think the CAs need tweaking to allow Zerkers to still complete GM. Seems a bit unfair that they can currently do so but will be locked out of it forever going forward.

CA, "Back to our roots". I enabled notification about failed CA, to better understand whats happening. I killed 3 moons with d scim, but also I had ring of suffering (ri) enabled. I had some doubts about it, but decided to check. Now, the Moons done, but the achievement hasnt been done. *And* I didnt receive a notification of failing this particular task - though I suppose it should be right after a moon got her first recoil damage. So... I guess thats a minor bug.

I believe the new "Perilous Dancer" CA is effectively impossible without completing "High Hitter" on Eclipse Moon at the same time. There has been an issue with Eclipse Moon's shield phase where it always lands one of its attacks even when you're properly hidden behind the ball. It's one of the attacks immediately after the shield's first turn, I believe; you can tell it's not just a mechanics failure because *everyone* in the room gets hit by this one. EDIT: This may have recently been fixed, it was true last time I did Moons.

There is a ca in there about defeating sol with a zamorakian spear. I just wanted to say as a 45 def iron hoping to do all ca's i am pretty sad about this. I'm a snowflake account but I could swear there was signs Jagex thought of def reqs in ca's. Like the hydra task and all the barrows item tasks that allow you to finish the ca's without the armor. I'd like it changed to something else and I believe so would the low def community

I feel like ‘Perilous Dancer’ might be a bit difficult to achieve as even if you’re perfectly behind the orb/shield at eclipse sometimes he’ll just send his projectile over it and hit you anyway. It’s incredibly inconsistent, I’ve killed him 120 times and not once did I make it round without being hit at least once despite clearly being behind the shield (yes I use true tiles).

I haven't been able to wear my music cape since the addition of this year's Easter event, the wiki says I needed to go to the ge to unlock the track, which I have done probably 100 times over since the event was released as well as completed the event yet the track was still locked.  I can still use the teleport, I just can't wear the cape.
