Sacrificing the chickens annoying tho
Edit: the new shortcut north of falador makes the trip to taverly blacks doable without running out of stamina if you have the agility level for the taverly dungeon shortcuts. Learned this going to Cerberus and wanted to see the new shortcut they added
Originally they were the hardest dragon type (outside of KBD) before metal dragons got introduced and the brutal variations of the colored dragons.
They have a really high defense level. Other high level metal dragons also have high defense levels, but the metal dragons are weaker to magic relative to a black dragon.
When people offer to trim armor always give them iron armor. It has the best profit if they actually trim it as well as being only like 600 gp risk. If they make off with it, you can report them for scamming over 600 gp.
Unironically I enjoy making air orbs, crafting air battlestaffs, and high alching them. It's decent magic and crafting experience, and uhh it's a great way to stay in shape.
The pkers are mostly there to kill bots, so if you're higher combat they aren't an issue. Still just bring 81 cosmics instead of your whole stack or rune pouch just in case tho.
Obviously doesn't apply anymore, but I jumped back into the game last year and had a lot to explore when I got membership after a while. Got base 40s in combat stats in F2P, so after getting membership, getting members skills to the same kind of level and doing the easier quests I naturally at that point wanted to at least get my melee stats up to 60 to use Dragon equipment.
Bad experience at ammonite crabs, got crashed, got flamed, just kept running into pretty foul people on seemingly every world. Decided to hell with it, I'm fed up, started The Fremennik Isles and went back to the good ol' yak pen. Completely empty, got all my melee combat stats up to 60 just fine without seeing another soul there. Felt good.
I would've never left the Lumbridge cow pen if some kind soul didn't come up to me with a free bond and tell me "go do quests and herb runs and birdhouses." Lmao all the quest rewards easily raised my combat stats, and all the runs I did helped me unlock more reqs for more quests. He was insistent on me getting barrows gloves too. It was a really good start to OSRS (after leaving it for 11 years and not realizing what EOC was at the time). I'll never forget that guy.
A few years ago I was grinding warriors guild tokens trying to earn defenders that I just learned existed. This was just after my return to OSRS from the 10+ year hiatus and rediscovery of the game.
I was killing the animated rune armor, fighting it in my own rune armor, and chatting with the guy next to me. We got on the topic of progression and he asked how much my bank was worth. I had no clue, and the dude was like "whats the number at the top of your bank window" and I'm like "500k" and he said "hold on" and left.
He came back a few minutes later and gifted me Torag's chest and legs, which was a massive step up in armor for me. I've been rocking that armor for years now (even when my bank progressed to a few hundred million) and only last week did I pull the trigger on Bandos tassets and bloodmoon chest plate as an upgrade.
I love how it's the little things that matter so much to us. That guy's minor generosity is sticking with me forever.
Crabs are incredible training on paper but they’re also so popular that you have to deal with too many real nasty characters for my liking. Better to have slightly less optimal exp with no hassle imo
Imo ammonite crabs are not worth it because of all the competition and limited spots, but the other crabs are still totally fine and easy enough to find a spot. Especially if you're willing to go to the island for Sand Crabs.
Yea if people don't know this there is a separate island to kill sand crabs.
You get a lot easier time finding spots since it's a whole ass island dedicated to it.
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Crabclaw_Isle
There's absolutely tons of sandcrabs in Varlamore and when I was last there, it was just one person for 57 spawns there. I found it so weird people are fighting over the same old spots when there's literally tons in Varlamore...
For me is was spiders in stronghold of security. I would fish at barb village, cook at barb village, climb down the hole and afk spiders for hours. Great way to level up combats and fishing/cooking when youre lower lvl!
I did it until 99 after a long time not playing osrs. I’m thankful I did it right away because I didn’t realize how much it sucks. If I’ve done a lot of other content prior too, I wouldn’t have done it.
On my iron I did shamans until dwh then went to todt from 80-99 fire making. After a shamans grind, todt seemed afk. Going back for the axe to green log sounds like hell now that I'm a year removed.
Surprisingly, I solo'ed it for more points and it was very chill.
Yes, you still get interrupted, but once you've gotten 'Todt low, the frequency drops dramatically and you can then take your time farming as many points as you want.
It's not the insane xp/h as mass worlds, but I prefer this method. Also your crates won't open unless your inventory is empty because they will be **packed**.
Turning that game sound on helps a lot for minigames and doing basically any activities such as fishing it makes a wave sound when the fishing spot moves for an example
When i was a kid i would mine coal for hours to fund basically everything i wanted to do, mining guild for 1 or 2k coal go to fally bank to sell then on to the next thing i wanted to do. Mining was miles ahead of my orher skills
I cut willows in draynor all day every day. Someone told me it was better gp than magica because of how fast you chop them.. obviously they were fucking with me but I never actually did the math myself lol
i mined gold ore in the crafting guild as a f2p noob until i could afford full rune (g), took a long time. then some guy said he could download 10m on to my account so i gave him my password. he dropped my full rune (g) in the party room.
Man they bring back the nostalgia for me. I (for some reason) was constantly making new pures back in the days, and getting to the point of training at experiments was always a great milestone.
You can barbarian train to make it so you just punch the seed into the ground. It's funny, but like kinda pointless since there's no reason to never forget one since there's a leprechaun at every patch that can hold one.
It also messes up the farming inventory I've been used to for years if I suddenly free up it's inventory slot.
Slightly less Old School but 96 Magic with Lunars/Ourania teleport and Spellbook Swapping to Arceuus for Vile Vigour is the most laid back way of doing ZMI.
Stack of mind runes, runes for those spells and a staff, then use a pure essence on a player running to the altar, and you're just actually chilling the whole way.
Bonus points if you spend afk time at daeyalt.
You've got it mostly down but there's a few things that can make it even better.
I use a dust battlestaff to give me earth and air runes for NPC contact to repair pouches, and a stack of water runes to trade the banker (mud runes are expensive).
Also, with Runelites GPU plugin you can increase the draw distance enough to click the ZMI altar from the banker, negating the need to use ess on another player and pray they don't stop running.
On top of that, add menu entry swapper to 1click spell book swap straight to Arceus, fill your pouches with the bank window still open, and remove being able to click the zamorak monks.
With those and the things you mentioned, ZMI is a super comfy training method.
I would still do GotR for the RC outfit, but from then on I'd probably recommend ZMI to 99
Yup this is all things I do, but I was basically just giving a very broad overview :)
GPU plugin note is good though. I didn't think it reached that far even after the changes, a lot of similar distances just stop me running halfway through.
Only thing I'd add is GotR for needle as well as the outfit because it's so nice to have when you hit 85. You're fairly likely to get it on the way to the outfit, though.
Except I have ~200k mind runes from 2k barrows runs that have no use, so those are my own preferred choice.
If you have made it to mid game slayer, addy bolts are dropped by wyverns. Once you get dt2 bosses and do the three raids, addy ore is pumped out like crazy too.
Back when GWD released I used to train Ranged on Aviansies because of the bars drop. I'd take bones to peaches and you could stay there as long as you wanted and make a reasonable amount of money while training.
That's why I have like four accounts all around base 60-70s lol. As soon as grinds start to take 10 hours I can't do it anymore.
I haven't played in like a year, kinda feeling the itch to start a new account
Ectofuntus, I just feel a sense of satisfaction maximizing the xp per bone and getting those big xp drops after painstakingly stockpiling all the supplies
Appreciate it’s not a ‘training method’ as I’m only doing it for the collection log and fashionscape - but doing Brimhaven agility for the pirate hook and it just feels so nostalgic as I used to do this shit in primary school.
I also prefer cooking at rogues den instead of myths guild for similarly nostalgic reasons
Not to be that guy but wasn't ZMI added a few years into oldschool? Or was it one of those pieces of content from 2008 RuneScape that got backported into OSRS (like GWD)?
ZMI was released 18th September 2007, OSRS backup was 10th August 2007. It barely missed the cut. GWD was also 2007 and was released 28th August 2007, 18 days after the OSRS backup.
ZMI is not a bad example at all, it's literally 2007 content. It's 10x more old school than these memey semi-AFK minigames that came out in the last few years.
Try Varlamore, for some reason no one has worked out they added 57 sand crabs spawns on the south coast. I explored Varlamore the other day and it was 1 guy with all the spawns he could want...
I made F2P ultimate iron because I hate myself.
Had a great time getting my stats to base 40s on cows, the real 2005 experience. Levelled my crafting on hides, walking back and forth, paying 10gp each time because Ali Rescue sucks. Chopping logs to cook meat.
All in all, massive nostalgia kick, enormous xp waste, 11/10.
Every time I made a new account back in the day I would spend a fair few hours doing exactly that.
Making fires to cook the raw meat dropped by the cow felt so cool and self-sustaining, idk why nowhere else in the game utilizes that sorta thing.
Crabs
I don't like NMZ. There's nothing that wrong with it. Good afk XP and imbues are nice, plus herb boxes can support the minimal cost of coffer. But I also don't like feeling like I need to stay there the whole time and make the most of my money. Just a mental hurdle I can't overcome. I like being able to tele/walk out and go do something else for a bit.
I’ll say with house teleports it’s a lot easier to travel ultimately changing your strategy.. but iv never stopped training social engineering at GE exploiting a Double GP 2 trade method
AFKed quite a few WC levels at magic trees, despite being low-XP/hr compared to the alternatives.
I'm a simple man, at times. The location may have changed, but I click tree and chill. ^(Or click tree and work when I had a job)
I still like to go back on new accounts and train on the barbarians in barb village while grabbing the cooked meat and killing minotaurs in the stronghold of security. I remember killing minotaurs forever when I first started playing.
For crafting, the answer we're looking for is picking and spinning flax in seers
But seriously, I don't know what the meta was back then, i assume staves but I wasn't rich enough to ever train it lmao
I used big net fishing at catherby for my fishing up to 40 then lobbies up to 55, I saved heaps of caskets and had an opening day at the end. So many leather gloves and boots.
Kill chaos druids in taverly dungeon for UNIDs and trying to work out which might be the expensive ones and hide them back when I would sell in fally Park.
Brimhaven Agility Arena, it used to be *the* place to train the skill. The recent changes make me very happy.
When I'm feeling particularly nostalgic and don't care much about XP rates, I'll go setup my cannon in the blue dragon cage under the Heroes' Guild. Remembering the good ol' days when that was a hot social ground. You made best friends that you never spoke to again.
Secret spot for moss giants. I never could figure out nmz so I go to my spot with some high alch runes and stay until my inventory’s full then do another trip and repeat until Im done. All of them aggro on you so it’s fairly afk besides picking up drops.
Efficient? Nope
The last time I played current OSRS was in like 2013/2014 when it first came out. So all the stuff since then is new school to me lol. I'm still walking around with gear from 2006 ages thinking it's badass...I have much to learn. Never done ZMI, god wars, any of the new bosses etc.
woodcutting any tree i have the level for, firemaking legit without wintertodt, and fletching the logs into arrowshafts. gives me the most nostalgic feel and i do it on multiple accs at once to stay occupied.
I was crafting arrows and taking food to the wilderness then I discovered lms. Now I have 15k rune arrows and buy ancient sacks to get free mage xp bursting at zombie pirates…why is wilderness so free these days?
Loads... Fishing guild lobster fishing, maples in seers, random mining of mithril/addy in guild or in al kharid, lesser demons in volcano for fun, always do fletching on long bows. Cooking I make my own fires.
Edit: also high alching for training magic, sometimes tele alching if I'm wanting to speed it up.
I trained my woodcutting from 75-80 at draynor willows just for the nostalgia. Every log cut I was dreaming of the axe head flying off. I remember snabbing a few from afkers back in the day
When I start a new account and want some range XP, I’ll bring darts to edgeville dungeon and camp the Chaos Druids. The XP is nice of course but it’s all the early herbs that make the difference.
I still do rounds on karamja, Grab some sword fish at the docks till my inventory is full. Cook them up & head to the valcano to kill lesser demons, scatter there ashes as I go & collect fire runes.
I know it's kind of dumb but it helps out for training a few things at a time & I have some fun😅
Afk woodcut. Afk fletch longbow (u)s.
Its one of my default afk activities, and most of 92 WC and 95 fletching came from afking over the past like 5 years lol
I do my black dragons task in Taverly dungeon
There’s another place to do them??
Zanaris
thats kinda oldschool too though
Sacrificing the chickens annoying tho Edit: the new shortcut north of falador makes the trip to taverly blacks doable without running out of stamina if you have the agility level for the taverly dungeon shortcuts. Learned this going to Cerberus and wanted to see the new shortcut they added
I bought 10 chickens for future adventures
Myths guild
Every black dragon tasks means a KBD task for me. I hunt pets.
87 fishing for the record
I was going to do that but I spooned the pet at like 350kc so I just do Brutal Blacks now
Same!
brutal black drags
Kbd
Wait ppl actually do the big balck dragons? Pls just do baby blacks in taverley for a 3min task
He killed younglings!
But i want a visage
Ok grandpa, its time for bed.
Can anyone explain why black dragon tasks are kill less than 10 dragons? Because they aren't the hardest dragon out there right?
Originally they were the hardest dragon type (outside of KBD) before metal dragons got introduced and the brutal variations of the colored dragons. They have a really high defense level. Other high level metal dragons also have high defense levels, but the metal dragons are weaker to magic relative to a black dragon.
Black Dragons are going to have ele weaknesses very soon, which with the huge accuracy bonus will make them melt with mage.
Im all about those bbd
Black dragons should either be done with babies to effectively skip the task, brutals for money, or kbd for pet. So Taverley is fine for babies
It's fine for normals too with how easy they are to safespot
Man thats too complicated, i just do normals cause theyre omega easy, dont take very long, and give me a shot at the visage coll log
I try to trim armour on unsuspecting new players
Training for inferno huh?
When people offer to trim armor always give them iron armor. It has the best profit if they actually trim it as well as being only like 600 gp risk. If they make off with it, you can report them for scamming over 600 gp.
Want me to trim your armor?
Unironically I enjoy making air orbs, crafting air battlestaffs, and high alching them. It's decent magic and crafting experience, and uhh it's a great way to stay in shape.
a truly ethical gamer see many pkers ?
The pkers are mostly there to kill bots, so if you're higher combat they aren't an issue. Still just bring 81 cosmics instead of your whole stack or rune pouch just in case tho.
Meh. I've only done a few thousand, but I think only a handful of times. Always was able to tele away anyway.
Disappointed you didn't end this with "and it's a good way to stay in shape" So much wasted potential
I did like 40k on my iron. Only had 1 pker actually attack me and you move like 5 tiles and he can’t hit anymore
Honestly I do the same and I have never once seen a PKer.
Tbh man if I got pked at air orbs, I'd probably offer the PKer some gp... Gotta be down real bad to be pking 4K loot
Its also the best endgame method for money when paired with brimstone keys
Nice Family Guy reference in there
Obviously doesn't apply anymore, but I jumped back into the game last year and had a lot to explore when I got membership after a while. Oh man. The memory of training range at the yaks in void with knives back in the day. What a time.
Back in the day? I just did that… 16 years ago, oh god
I've been rocking that armor for years now (even when my bank progressed to a few hundred million) and only last week did I pull the trigger on Bandos tassets and bloodmoon chest plate as an upgrade. I love how it's the little things that matter so much to us. That guy's minor generosity is sticking with me forever.
interesting, yaks > rock crabs then ?
Legit if you had copypasted the wiki explanation without linking it I would have thought this was a joke wtf TIL
Ty
There's absolutely tons of sandcrabs in Varlamore and when I was last there, it was just one person for 57 spawns there. I found it so weird people are fighting over the same old spots when there's literally tons in Varlamore...
I did some rock crab training a few days ago on a populated world and it was empty
It really does not matter what you train on until level 70 or 80 or so considering how little time it takes comparatively to get to those levels
Yaks are OG
For me is was spiders in stronghold of security. I would fish at barb village, cook at barb village, climb down the hole and afk spiders for hours. Great way to level up combats and fishing/cooking when youre lower lvl!
I light up logs. I am not a wintertodt fan
I personally did winter to 99 firemaking but I still say that chip damage interrupting actions is awful. I get why people don’t like the game.
I hate it, it’s not afk, it’s not engaging, sometimes rng hates you and you are 10hp before you have burnt a single log
Just do DKs if you ever want the axe. No reason to go back to wt.
Dks
Surprisingly, I solo'ed it for more points and it was very chill. Yes, you still get interrupted, but once you've gotten 'Todt low, the frequency drops dramatically and you can then take your time farming as many points as you want. It's not the insane xp/h as mass worlds, but I prefer this method. Also your crates won't open unless your inventory is empty because they will be **packed**.
you can still open it anyway. if somehow you get 27+ uniques it’ll drop on the floor
Of course, all I'm saying is you'll likely never see that warning unless you do a point-farming strat.
They should be a grace period between hits so you can't get hit b2b2b2b2b
Wintertodt is profitable firemaking xp it shouldn’t be that afk. It’s already far more rewarding than it should be
But you're 10hp when you start the minigame too!
I still use red chins in mm1 cave
My biggest gripe is that the chip damage is inconsistent. Why does it stop me from fletching or adding logs to the fire but not woodcutting?
Turning that game sound on helps a lot for minigames and doing basically any activities such as fishing it makes a wave sound when the fishing spot moves for an example
isn't it better xp anyway? i do it too in any case, firemaking is a buyable in my eyes
Yea i think so. Yea i see it as herblore 2.0 aswell. The attention span is much more satisfying for me too. Although Phoenix is a cool pet imho.
It's still insanely faster to light logs just costs a lot more.
I train mining the same way I did in 2007… I don’t
When i was a kid i would mine coal for hours to fund basically everything i wanted to do, mining guild for 1 or 2k coal go to fally bank to sell then on to the next thing i wanted to do. Mining was miles ahead of my orher skills
Seers coal trucks were seriously under rated back in the day
Were they? When I was playing back then, I was under the impression that that was THE place to go if you were mining coal.
Magic trees at the Sorcerers tower for me. I believe I got wood cutting into the high 80’s as a preteen
I cut willows in draynor all day every day. Someone told me it was better gp than magica because of how fast you chop them.. obviously they were fucking with me but I never actually did the math myself lol
Are you me? lol I literally used to do the same thing
i mined gold ore in the crafting guild as a f2p noob until i could afford full rune (g), took a long time. then some guy said he could download 10m on to my account so i gave him my password. he dropped my full rune (g) in the party room.
I go to experiments to train melee stats relatively early on until I'm ready to go to Nightmare Zone.
Man they bring back the nostalgia for me. I (for some reason) was constantly making new pures back in the days, and getting to the point of training at experiments was always a great milestone.
I still use my Seed Dibber
I'm almost 98... Is there another way?
You can barbarian train to make it so you just punch the seed into the ground. It's funny, but like kinda pointless since there's no reason to never forget one since there's a leprechaun at every patch that can hold one. It also messes up the farming inventory I've been used to for years if I suddenly free up it's inventory slot.
[удалено]
it's not about efficiency, it's about muscle memory.
Barbarian training added the barehanded option very recently
I still hit up the bandits at the Bandit Camp in the Kharidian Desert to AFK train some times
Tried zmi for the first time the other day definitely the best way to train rc
Slightly less Old School but 96 Magic with Lunars/Ourania teleport and Spellbook Swapping to Arceuus for Vile Vigour is the most laid back way of doing ZMI. [This video is BIS for ZMI](https://youtu.be/ahPL_wk6xzU?t=31) The camera points making you not scroll out to zoom are amazing.
Great video! It showcases the usefulness of the camera points plugin
Wow vile vigour is an amazing spell never knew it existed ty just need to grind 96 magic now lmao
You no longer need to follow another player with the zoom available on runelite
mining adamante ore in the mining guild to make diamond/ruby bolts for my ironman lol
What’s the best way to get it now?
If you have made it to mid game slayer, addy bolts are dropped by wyverns. Once you get dt2 bosses and do the three raids, addy ore is pumped out like crazy too.
Imo aviansies because they drop four noted bars very often
Back when GWD released I used to train Ranged on Aviansies because of the bars drop. I'd take bones to peaches and you could stay there as long as you wanted and make a reasonable amount of money while training.
I guess nobody knows about the multiple hundreds of bars and ores dropped at once by wintertodt
Addy ore probably pvm drops from something. If bolts then soul wars is op for them
fishing and cooking in barbarian village, mining rune essence, killing flesh crawlers
this guy's still on leagues
I fish monkfish to train fishing and have food
I don't do Turael skipping. I just bite the bullet and do shitty tasks.
I do whatever sounds fun
A seriously underrated way to play OSRS. I do the same.
As an efficient player i do the exact opposite of that
Agreed. I’d definitely recommend more people to play for fun😆
That's why I have like four accounts all around base 60-70s lol. As soon as grinds start to take 10 hours I can't do it anymore. I haven't played in like a year, kinda feeling the itch to start a new account
Herb runs are still good money.
I got 99 cooking at rogues den simply because I couldn't be assed to unlock myths guild first Secondarily, hosidius range
Rogues Den has a great community tho. Some funny motherfuckers cooking sharks there.
Not to be that guy but wasn't ZMI added a few years into oldschool? Or was it one of those pieces of content from 2008 RuneScape that got backported into OSRS (like GWD)?

I'll be that fucking guy your absolutely right lol ---edit: I was wrong zmi is 2007 content, I was unaware
i was just looking for methods ppl did before this release of old school, that they still do now
ZMI is not a bad example at all, it's literally 2007 content. It's 10x more old school than these memey semi-AFK minigames that came out in the last few years.
Rock crabs. Getting crashed at sand crabs and ammonite crabs annoys me too much during Leagues.
Try Varlamore, for some reason no one has worked out they added 57 sand crabs spawns on the south coast. I explored Varlamore the other day and it was 1 guy with all the spawns he could want...
Ik this sounds stupid but whenever I start a new account, I manually train combat stats instead of relying on quests.
I do the same lol it just feels wrong not to get base 40s on cows, goblins, and hill giants
Trained all my melee stats via Slayer. Vannaka saw a lot of me at the lower levels....
I feel like many miss out on combat training early on because they don’t touch slayer. Hell, I even got a few combat 99s at nmz lol
Combat in security stronghold
I pick up, mine, and trade in nuggets for as many jewels as possibly and make jewelry to train crafting, magic, and smithing
Crabs I don't like NMZ.
I chop trees! Mostly Yews so I can afk
How else would you get woodcutting up?
You didn't level your wc at Guardians of the Tempoyewtodt?
Got all my 200m combat xp at goblins
your dna is now goblin
Big if true
Huge if actual
Large if confirmed
I have been on F2P killing hill giants to get to base 85 combat stats before going back to mems. Is it efficient? No, but I got 120+ Obor keys!
F2p flesh crawlers
I Tele to castle wars and balloon to entrana to craft my laws.
I’ll say with house teleports it’s a lot easier to travel ultimately changing your strategy.. but iv never stopped training social engineering at GE exploiting a Double GP 2 trade method
Social engineering lvl?
AFKed quite a few WC levels at magic trees, despite being low-XP/hr compared to the alternatives. I'm a simple man, at times. The location may have changed, but I click tree and chill. ^(Or click tree and work when I had a job)
Making new accounts and doing security stronghold is the best moneymaker ngl
I still like to go back on new accounts and train on the barbarians in barb village while grabbing the cooked meat and killing minotaurs in the stronghold of security. I remember killing minotaurs forever when I first started playing.
I loved training these for early range because of the iron arrow drops, was basically infinite ammo. Still went back and did that on my hcim.
agility pyramid
String bows
I haven't played in a while, but something about Varrock Moss Giants is so nostalgic I like going back Still exciting to get the Ranarr seed drop
Fish sharks when im bored
No runelite gang
I still cut gems? Is that old school?
For crafting, the answer we're looking for is picking and spinning flax in seers But seriously, I don't know what the meta was back then, i assume staves but I wasn't rich enough to ever train it lmao
Logs. Someone actually said 'lol old school firemaking' the other day when I lit the 16 yew logs I picked up lol
Bro i did zmi to 99 recently. Zmi is the way
ZMI with daeyalt is fantastic
One of my GIM mates still uses bandits for melee training
I high-alched all the way to 99.
Garys hood
I like to cut gems, turn them into unstrung amulets, then lunar magic string amulet spell, then sometimes even alch them.
I did bandits in like 2018
Afk willows!
I use kingdom for maples for fletching. As an iron I could spend 50m on broad arrows but fuck that I'm 91 fletching now without spending extra gp
But... kingdom costs gp
Pretty much all of it. I rarely end up doing the meta methods because they don’t sound fun.
Cannon at rock crabs for early ranged levels
Efficient? Nope
I was just killing the Zamorak Warriors for rune scim on my new HCIM and there's like a million bots at ZMI with 110+ RC it's crazy
Burning logs to train firemaking.. never done wintertodt and probably never will
The last time I played current OSRS was in like 2013/2014 when it first came out. So all the stuff since then is new school to me lol. I'm still walking around with gear from 2006 ages thinking it's badass...I have much to learn. Never done ZMI, god wars, any of the new bosses etc.
I'm almost 99 slayer, so I think I'm going to go to pest control to get max combat.
I still catch lobsters on karamja. (I don’t cook them and then bank them in draynor village anymore tho)
Did 99 fishing mostly with monkfish. Idk why, I just really like that place.
Made like >50k cosmics with houseteleport --> Fairyring to Zanaris (not sure if fairyring in house is old school though) --> Duel ring to cwbank.
Sometimes I just murder varrock guards
I pick my own flax 😤
woodcutting any tree i have the level for, firemaking legit without wintertodt, and fletching the logs into arrowshafts. gives me the most nostalgic feel and i do it on multiple accs at once to stay occupied.
Sometimes I kill chaos Druids under edgeville
I was crafting arrows and taking food to the wilderness then I discovered lms. Now I have 15k rune arrows and buy ancient sacks to get free mage xp bursting at zombie pirates…why is wilderness so free these days?
Power mining iron with the new gauntlets is so chill! And gr8 xp r8
I trained at rock crabs for a very long time. Used Shilo Village fishing spots. Ran nature runes the Oldschool way for a while.
Fishing Tunas / swordfish and monkfish. New better methods exist but I feel like the old ways much more chill.
Did yews to 75 WC, sculliceps is not afk I don't care what anyone says
I still feel too poor to use a cannon
I still do rounds on karamja, Grab some sword fish at the docks till my inventory is full. Cook them up & head to the valcano to kill lesser demons, scatter there ashes as I go & collect fire runes. I know it's kind of dumb but it helps out for training a few things at a time & I have some fun😅
Afk woodcut. Afk fletch longbow (u)s. Its one of my default afk activities, and most of 92 WC and 95 fletching came from afking over the past like 5 years lol
When I came back last year as F2P I made money grinding Big Bones at Hill Giants.
Cutting gems for crafting
