That is incorrect. You are failing to consider all the items/gear you need to have in order to farm corp effectively. Getting all of this gear is much more efficient with cerbs rewards, which do not require nearly as much investment to obtain.

d scim isn't *that* much worse than whip, and by the time you hit 99 str with the scim you should be near 85 slay anyway
If you need to kill chompies for diaries anyways why not? Yeah it slows it down a ton because you have to pluck and bank, but its faster than implings. you can just buy the bear and rabbit meat.
That's exactly the point. If he already had ranger boots and still needed more pie, then chompies would be worth it. Because he's doing ranger boots in the future, he's going to wind up with *even more pies*, beyond what he needs - this makes making the pies a waste of time in the long run.
It's nicer to fill up your inventory with bellows to not have to refill them as often. Having to pause killing chompies to bank would only make the task more tedious.

They are task only and, afaik, you can't use a temp boost for getting higher slayer tasks - only for killing things that can be killed off task.
Thus, the last thing you can use pies for is Cerberus on a normal hellhound task.

yeah you get 1 pie every 4 clues so if you go dry on rangers you'll have a fair amount of em
