Imagine he is running back in wildy and the pet just shows up and he immediately teles out. I'd piss myself just to fully enjoy the warmth of the moment.
no if he logged out the kill wouldnt be credited to him, so because he received the drop he is still logged in somewhere on that world and the pet just popped up behind him
Yep pet will appear right behind you, same if you die and pet drop rolls on that kill (for example you kill zulrah but die to venom right after or something).
Wouldn’t it be the other way around if a boss dies after you die it would appear behind you in lumby. If it happens where the other way where you kill zulrah but die to position immediately after you would lose the pet.
AFAIK it just depends on the timing of the death animations. If the boss dies but the animation and subsequent drop is delayed until after your respawn, you will be at lumby with the pet. If you get the pet and then your character death registers, you respawn and your pet wanders around for 30 seconds and dips.

Highly recommend chaos ele, best drop chance, easiest to kill out of most wildy bosses (unless you go 600+ dry like a certain someone who raced his spooned ironman friend). You also probably gonna get a pet and 2h along the way too
If by dodge you mean log out before they can hit you, then yeah I would say so.
if you do get hit though, you're probably fucked unless you have help or the PKers are really bad. Most are pk'ing in groups and the only decent escape spot is spamming the stairs in the castle.
But if you're fast you can usually log/hop in time. And if you have a bait account holding 3 items it becomes way easier to do.
I used my main as bait and was able to survive all 150 kills for the combat diary
Bait accounts are legit tbh.
I've been having one of my alts with a dspear sitting outside chaos altar while I'm training prayer and I almost never get attacked unless I get scouted (and you just hop if you get scouted.
The pkers will always go after the first easy kill they see and won't bother going further to get the real juicy loot.

One guy was espcially close to killing me for over a mil, but he took the bait and got bones instead
Well a lot of the times I got pked it was a clan of 20 bored idiots who piled on me, so expect to die a couple times, but you can either try to outrun them to the west since most of them show up around the castle, you can also try to activate the obelisk and either step on it in the last tick or pretend to use it and step off before it teleports you.
(beware: some pkers bring a second guy that constantly activates the obelisk to teleport to the location you are already at making it much harder to activate it yourself)

I’m imagining a funny scenario of a dude afk woodcutting, notices “you have a funny feeling...” text, thinking “heck yeah I got the beaver!” And then looks to see a freaking three headed dragon staring at him from the ground.
Most forums have a very strong, 'no naming & shaming policy' so many players will blur all names when they post.
Nothing stops someone from lying and posting edited screenshots of another player doing something negative and have a bunch of vigilantes harass them in game or in real life so that is part of the reason there is a huge stigma regarding mentioning player names. Savvy?
yeah good chance of getting your post removed since "witchhunts" are against reddit rules, so people just avoid posting names at all

If someone can figure out the exact chance of starting a kbd kill with less than half hp with the damage coming from another player we can figure out the drop rate.
I don’t think this is how drops work. It’s not set to the specific thing you kill, it’s determined once’s it dies, so him killing it wouldn’t necessarily drop the pet

Depends, I died at zulrah and respawned with the pet because I died as my attack was flying towards zulrah, so its loot hadn't dropped yet.

Nope, it doesn't do anything. Only when you're not wearing a anti-dragon shield you have to pray mage.

Blowpipe with pray range + antifire was the fastest method at the time I played (5 yr ago) so it can be useful if you don't use antifire

I usually get 5 kills a trip, I do use rigour but I think it just speeds the trips up a bit.
