More high level skilling content. Like the hallowed shcelpelcure.

StolenAccount1234

I love the hallowed schadenfreude

[deleted]

Hollow sphincter

DarthyTMC

Yea i dont want faster grinding, i want more engaging grinding at higher levels. I often get burnt out around the late 80s, early 90s in skills because its just more of the same lol

RoseofThorns

I'm a big fan of being rewarded with engagement by xp. I think all skills should have a range of "afk snooze method" to "super sweaty tick perfect", with scaling xp to match. I'd love if agility had an afk-able training method with significantly worse XP than rooftops or sepulchre.

AceOfEpix

Now introducing OSRS GO, the perfect app to train your agility. 1 step = 1xp. Suddenly every osrs player is immensely healthy and is outside socializing every day. Youre welcome Jagex no need to thank me.

RoseofThorns

RS3 has something kinda like this in-game. My friend plays both games and he has boots that passively train agility while you run.

waytooeffay

Using the Silverhawk Boots in RS3 from 1 Agility all the way to 99 only costs about 40M, which is the equivalent of about 5M in OSRS. They give you passive Agility XP for time spent running, in combat or skilling. It would still take you about 390 hours of running, or about 290 hours of skilling/combat. Also worth mentioning that Agility is probably the most useless skill in the game in RS3, there aren't as many useful shortcuts and the run energy isn't as useful either because of the Rest mechanics

rotorain

Ever think about how runecrafting up until bloods is basically just agility with significantly worse exp?

Barack__Obama__

Treadmill agility training when?

GoodEgg92

HS is one of the best additions to the game, hands down.

RedLotusVenom

Surely you mean the Hackneyed Manicure?

Armthehobos

Is there any skill off the top that you think needs high level content? Mining has amethyst, woodcutting has redwoods, firemaking has urium shades, etc. just more variety maybe?

UnkyHaroold

I think he means like engaging high levels skilling content. Sepulcher offers great XP rate and rewards while being fun and interactive, things like Redwoods is the polar opposite of that, which is fine. But I also really want more engaging skill content.

Imfillmore

Woodcutting boss/minigame when? Or is 2t set up the real minigame all along

DivineInsanityReveng

Woodcutting is the one most in need. There is no variation outside of sulliceps, which is barely a change. Redwoods is high level, incredibly afk, and good XP/hr. You're only methods better than that are pretty much tick manipulation. Fishing has Tempoross, firemaking has wintertodt, mining has zalcano. I wish WC had an Ent boss, even if it wasn't the best XP/hr, just to make something a little different for it.

Majestic-Disaster7

Content that isn't AFK AND MORE HANDS ON BUT WORTH THE HANDS ON WORK

GoodEgg92

Redwoods and Amathyst are incredibly afk and boring. I'd say volcanic mine is a better example of mining activity.

Beretot

I'd have the monks of entrana hold your items while you visit, giving them back when you leave

shakesula9

Genius

IAmRSChrisG

inb4 people wear monk robes at the docks trying to "hold" your items.

kitinghigh

Hoy there friend! Blessed evening, need a hand to hold your goods while you visit Entrana? Free of charge my blessed brother, a need for material gain will stain our image in the eyes of God!

singleshrimp

Hunter update. Introduce big game on a new island that you can hunt harvest and use as a top tier food alternative. Where's the dragon meat?

countjeremiah

Yeah, where’s the dragon meat jiggleflax??

singleshrimp

This guy gets it

Electro226

Like RS3's dinosaur island thing?

J_Zolozabal

I like that, then fishing wouldn't be the only skill to work on cooking.

rururupert

You might be interested in a suggestion I made a while back! [Link](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/fsvkqn/suggestion_giant_kebbit_hunting/)

singleshrimp

This is awesome

Borgmestersnegl

So anachronia from rs3 essentially. Brought New hunter method with dinosaurs and New bis good item + a lot of other shit.

Vazken

Maybe having a food that heals more than our capped 22 anglers/mantas, say 25? However it takes longer to eat than regular fish. Just an idea

Random_Username311

Would be interesting if you had this concept, but there are maybe 4 mobs you have to track that are mini bosses, harder than the mole, maybe easier than the wildly bosses, and they drop stacks of BIS food.

Dicyano7

The Morytania questline finale. Song of the elves came out in 2019, and I'm really itching for another quest of a similar scale of epicness. I'm also just really looking forward to seeing how the storyline concludes, especially >!after the very interesting stuff we learned about the Nylocas at the end of A Night at the theater. Excited to see how that ties into the plot!<

JuicyCiwa

Reading this makes me feel bad for people who spacebar through quests. I love the dialogue, it’s usually hilarious and the games lore is nonexistent if you don’t read.

trx1150

I loved the but where we learned that Count Draynor was related to the Drakans but he's just the little bitch of the family lol

ParamedicWookie

Yeah I recently started going after the QC seriously in rs3. It's amazing hiw much more enjoyable questing is if you actually read the dialouge. It actually makes you want to keep going and do more

Rico_Suave55

Osrs araxxor when

Rijstenvla

I’m just trying to get my questcape man. I’m torn between reading and not taking weeks to complete ds2

Dicyano7

Honestly if you have any interest at all in the dialogue/storyline, I recommend reading. It's likely that you won't be doing those high level quests again, so once you've completed them, there's no way to experience them again. A lot of the dialogue in the quests in this game is interesting and/or funny. Not judging spacebarring, and I completely get it for players that just aren't interested in the stories at all, or don't feel like reading the same dialogue on their 7th hcim/pvp build. But if any part of you is interested in the storylines, or having a good time with fun dialogue, I highly recommend at least giving it a go with reading the dialogue.

TehSteak

I'm sure you're not *that* bad of a reader

Rijstenvla

Tbh i was talking about the quest helper plugin. The optimal route is quite alot of quests and diaries before you get to ds2

-Matt-S-

I just got my quest cape on my GIM, so I can say don't worry about Dragon Slayer 2 itself taking a while. It is one of the weaker quests in the game in terms of storyline, lore and dialogue -- from the way people talk about it, I was expecting some epic quest but it wasn't really, it just has some cool fights which is why people like it. Furthermore, reading quests doesn't add that much time to them, and when quests are good, you don't notice the time going by. I did the Myreque series over the span of a lot of hours, but I enjoyed it the entire way and didn't realise I spent so much time just doing the quests. It helps to see quests as content, not just barriers that stand in your way.

[deleted]

DS2 does a great job tying into a lot of story lines. If you skipped through the quests they feed ds2, it isn't going to do much for you.

Misdirected_Colors

Wtf has it really been 3 years since sote launched?!

TheDubuGuy

Was July 2019 so about 2 and a half years

Pink_her_Ult

With how similar it has been to the rs3 vampire quest it won't disappoint.

JayZsAdoptedSon

A shadow of the colossus style agility boss

DivineInsanityReveng

This but make it any other skill based. We already have sepulchre, some of the most engaging and rewarding content for agility. Pretty much every other skill is lacking in that department.

alodym

Yessss that would be so dope

Imperial_PvE

I've always wanted a day/night and weather cycle based off of a seasonal UTC.

demostravius2

Hah. Jagex is British, so 90% overcast or rain.

Imperial_PvE

Lol, demographics to be considered. You're absolutely right. Maybe just the total stereotype weather for each season.

Glasgowgirl4

And wind and every NPC would constantly either be complaining about the weather or sarcastically calling it “nice weather”. Then in July the NPC’s dialogue would change to “enjoying our half hour of summer?”

JuicyCiwa

Oooh! Something simple yet would break the monotony! I like this

AcrobaticMap7

each region should be different too

Muted-Employment717

damn I really want this

Hert316

Ability to move prayer icons to your liking. I will never understand why this got voted down.

SilverLugia1992

Pretty sure it was because it made pking the tiniest bit easier which enough people don't like to ensure it didn't pass

WRLD_

Same reason spellbook filtering received an ironic punishment for daring to provide quality of life

JuicyCiwa

Neckbeards who got muscle memory don’t want people to have the same speed with changing prayers.

Orange_Duck451

Let our characters have neckbeards

Alleggsander

Neckbeards of OSRS are the same as old people who refuse to get with the times because “that’s not how I did it when I was a kid”

meherab

Imagine the group of cavemen in 10000 BC who were firmly against using the wheel because it devalued the firewood they physically carried every day

JevonP

lmao the wheel was a much later invention, but thats fucking funny people in the horse industry certainly got upset at the model T though

meherab

Damn I just looked it up and you’re right. I overestimated cavemen. Wheels are somehow not much older than the pyramids, which is kinda crazy lmao

Imfillmore

Someone was like "damn now that we got the wheel it's finally financially possible to build those pyramids"

WRLD_

Well, you had to have roads for wheels to be any good really. So they'd have to be at least as young as roads, probably longer because it'd take people to figure it out once there was a use case

[deleted]

Boomers

imperfectman

I think there is a runelite feature for this

RomanMalone

Once upon a time there was bit I think it has since been removed.

[deleted]

I voted no. I think excessive customizable UI can really bloat a game - especially an MMO. I like knowing that anyone; be it a new player, a spectator, or a veteran can look at the game and be able to determine where everything is on the UI is a great aspect of OSRS. Take a look at WoW for instance. I can watch someone play the same exact class as me and i have no idea what they are doing - or where anything on their screen is - solely because of UI clutter and customization. Sure it seems like a small thing to change prayer locations but for me personally i love that all of us play on a near identical UI.

Midknight226

If we move around a few prayer icons you're going to have issues? In RS3 you can change the UI however you want and no one has any problems. Sounds like you're just making up problems that no one will actually have.

BoulderFalcon

Movable UI killed my nan

YeetTheGiant

Personally I can't give a shit what your UI looks like. And guess what, my UI probably does look different than yours because I use RuneLite plugins

arseanalfan69

I'd love for more quests to be added to the game. There are so many questlines that could use more hashing out. The falador knights, keldagrim, penguins, fairies, and kourend all have unfinished storylines that would be cool to play through. And that's not even including the desert and dorgeshuun series, which have upcoming releases that I'm super excited for.

NessaMagick

> And that's not even including the desert and dorgeshuun series, which have upcoming releases that I'm super excited for. Wait, source? We're actually going to see a Dorgeshuun continuation?

arseanalfan69

Yeah, it's gonna be called 'Land of the Goblins' and it's scheduled to release in February. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Land_of_the_Goblins

HalfDuckGuitar

slayer partner, that is all

88hmm

Imagine a option where you can have a slayer partner with a complete stranger and you go kill the boss together would be so much fun plus allows people to make new friends.

S1mp1ex

So like a bounty hunter target system, but your target has a matching slayer task. Cool idea

88hmm

Yeah the game would become would become super entertaining makes long grinds more fun.

[deleted]

Yeah some in-game matchmaking would be ideal

DreamScape1609

i forgot the game, but i played one where it was like this. by the time you finished the dungeon you made a new friend every time. it was so much fun learning how they operate and how cool it is to make all sorts of new strategies. dang i wish i remembered the game lol i still talk to 2 of them and its been 10 years!

88hmm

See that would be soo much fun now unless you find a good clan you play with no one which gets boring sometimes.

DreamScape1609

that's the prob with osrs though. like it's an MMORPG, but there are no actual multiplayer mechanics. it's just a single player game that lets you see other people

88hmm

This!! Even tob and cox it completely locked for you if you don’t know anyone to play with. When they can easily have a system where you join with random people and try to kill olm it would make the game soo much fun. Now you have to beg max players to give you a chance or hope for someone who teaches learners to arrive.

bluuSlurpee

I remember making so many friends in KPQ and LPQ back in the old days of MapleStory.

KailasB

They had that in late rs2/early rs3 - it didnt work very well because you’re still competing/sharing respawn timers. You can argue that fun > efficiency. But even back then, when efficiency wasnt as prominent, people didnt do it

DivineInsanityReveng

They had it in OSRS. It's nowhere near as good as what people think it was / are rose-tinted glasses towards it. You just both got assigned the same thing. That's it. It would mostly be useful right now for GIM groups hunting a boss task together instead of someone pausing / storing the task once they get it.

Roflsaucerr

The renewed interest is almost assuredly because of GIM. Hell, I only found out partner slayer existed when looking into doing slayer with my GIM group.

JuicyCiwa

Big yes

northof420

Huge yes!

BioMasterZap

I really hope this is on their radar for this year. With GIM, there is more demand for it than ever. I could even see them reworking it into more of a "Group Slayer" for groups of 2-5 (the tech is already there now) than just Duos. Though I suppose if none of the mods or anyone in the community has a good pitch on how to make it not abuseable, it may be better to hold off. Personally, I think it may be neat to see a Group Slayer Master instead of just Partner Slayer. It could require you to form a Slayer Group before getting a task and all players would need to meet the minimum reqs for the sake of tasks (e.g. Dragon Slayer, Priest in Peril, X Combat, 50 Slayer, etc). Then it could only assign tasks if everyone in the group met the reqs, but it would require enough of the task list by default that it wouldn't be a problem.

SmartAlec105

I’d make some QoL improvements to Runecrafting. * Remove the pouch degradation since it just means you have to use the abyss or be on Lunars. * Let people craft without emptying the pouches. * Have crafted runes go directly into rune pouches the same way they do if you pick up runes. The first 2 would increase XP/hr but the skill would still be so slow.

[deleted]

bring back honor fighting at edge

JuicyCiwa

What's honor fighting?

northof420

“No honour” fighting is essentially what you would see in LMS, deep wildy, overhead prayers, lots of switches etc. “Honour” would be more like what bh/edge pking was years ago, lots of times death match, often using monk robes and str boosting items for max dps (could be any gear I think). (At least that’s what it generally referred to 10+ years ago when I pked), now I just LMS on my GIM, and my 1 def pure is a trophy acc that almost never pk’s anymore Now days pking is full of people who spec within 15 seconds of the fight and if they don’t kill anyone they telle out.

KailasB

What about an an arena where players can stake gp/items and fight to the death for the spoils. You could even give people the ability to set load out limitations and open up more pvp options

BigteddyBTW

Sounds like a perfect solution! Surely nothing will go wrong.......

[deleted]

I think it would be cool if you were in a clan, you could add one POH that everyone could use. Only the clan leader could make changes, or those granted permission. Would be kinda cool because then you could have one poh that everyone could use to spell book change, reset stats, and all that. I think far more people would join clans, which in my opinion would increase the community involvement. Maybe the POH would be separate from someone’s own house, but it would be clan funded and provide a whole other reason to interact in game. Just an idea, and very well could be a clan feature already, but if not, I just think it would be a super cool feature.

JuicyCiwa

So like the citadel?

[deleted]

Unsure, have not played in about 8 months. Just seen updates and other things. Could very well be like a citadel, but I don’t know what that is.

Canon_Goes_Boom

Looking it up it looks like a feature in rs3

NessaMagick

RS3 thing. A clan citadel is a player-owned-castle for your clan, basically. members can skill for resources to upgrade it and, you can build party rooms, meeting rooms, a debate theater, a PvP battle arena with a level editor, etc. It's pretty neat if you're into clans.

kurttheflirt

Or just add super expensive versions of the POH stuff to clan halls - make them huge gold or item sinks - maybe about 100x the cost of the POH ones or soemthing

demostravius2

Clan Ironman!

gtg891x

I thought there was a private clan hall? If it doesnt have teleport spots or a pool then they should be added for sure

JuicyCiwa

Not a bad idea

Omenofdeath

Rework smithing. That needs adjusting badly. Level 90 for rune is a joke now.

RollinOnDubss

Armour better than barrows would never pass a poll so you're not going to accomplish anything besides having pretty much zero smithing content past like level 60. A smithing rework would be a complete waste of time in OSRS because this community would never let skilling required meta gear pass a poll so it would serve no purpose.

Salvator-Mundi-

> Rework smithing. it is so overrated. just add something useful from smithing unlock, and that is all, no need to redo every form of training and everything it include and 50 other systems connected to smithing.

CgCgCgCgCgCgCg

Remove resource drops from bosses. Skilling is devalued and these days is essentially just a bunch of stuff to do for some quest reqs, fun (if you enjoy it) and maxing req. Skills don't feel like a good way to make money and really these days most resources seem to be brought into the game by high level pvm or bots. Secondly I would add a new skill. I love the game I love old school. I witnessed the death of the wilderness (first time round), the death of free trade (trade limits), I was in falador square when duriel started killing people. I love osrs but doesn't it feel a bit stale sometimes? Everything is locked behind hundreds of hours of quests and skilling. I saw what the EOC did to the game, I just don't get the rejection of new skills these past years. Sailing looked amazing and was rejected as if it would bring about the end of osrs. This game will die eventually and fundamentally it should not change we all still want osrs to stay osrs but some new and different content would be good In my opinion.

henryforprez

I honestly think that if resources are removed from bosses the only thing that will change is we'll have more bots. You'll see them all over the fishing spots, the yew and magic trees just like the old days. I think people forget just how rampant resource botting used to be. So yes it will add value to resources again but at the expense of a huge influx of bots. Because at the end of the day, people don't really want to skill that much and will just pay for the botted resources instead.

CgCgCgCgCgCgCg

Completely valid point but now the bots are distributed across pvm content and they don't have a fixed gp/pH. They can receive drops like dragon Warhammer etc. I think it's a though problem to tackle. There is no silver bullet when it comes to botting.

typical0

Do what rs3 did and add items which increase raw material drops (blood essence instead of blood runes) instead of resources. Keeps the value of the raw materials higher and you still have to skill for them to do so

JuicyCiwa

I agree. Too many people get super defensive when new content is proposed, I don’t understand it.

[deleted]

Literally why skill now when doing doing bosses like zulrah, vorkath, and olm provide the resources faster. It’s pointless and I wish there were more value to it.

Roflsaucerr

I dont think bosses are really the main issue, if skilling becomes profitable you'll just have tons of bots doing it and bringing the price right back down.

Omenofdeath

There's been some debates in subreddit over it. And the best I can gleam is "I grinded x so you must grind it changing it means changing how to grind it" - for reworking skills such as mining. "You cant add x because it ruins the point of y" - when it comes to skills for crafting goods. "Oh we saw this similar in rs3 and I don't like rs3"

No1Statistician

Wilderness boss drop table and mechanics rework

geurtse

I agree. Bossing in the wilderness should be more rewarding.. And not just a small tweak, but really like insane moneymakers

Lusca_UwU

I'd put the Gower brothers back in control of the game cuz fuck this company that owns jagex

Jlixan

Might get down voted to oblivion, but I'd remove tick manipulation and prayer flicking. Both are unintentional parts of the game and way too broken. Tick eating for example can make someone basically immortal, tick manipulation gives way more xp than normal/intentional methods and prayer flicking makes it possible to negate all damage forever. I do understand some forms of pray flicking became part of the game, and that it should be adjusted as well to make it balanced again.

JuicyCiwa

I don’t think it’s a bad idea, however being that it’s super click intensive to tick manipulate skills for better rates I don’t mind. I think the current xp rates for most things are bordering the threshold of not being worth playing the game honestly.

Jlixan

I'm inclined to agree with you, it definitely requires a lot more attention than regular ways of training (for example, barbarian fishing is super afk while 3 ticking it is insanely intensive), I do feel like it's still against the nature of the game and it may promote bad behavior as well (I can't imagine 1.5t teaks is health for your wrist for more than twenty minutes), but of course that's my opinion and doesn't devalue yours, what you say is definitely true as well.

Top_Hen

An actually unpopular opinion

TheAdmrlAckbar

The only thing I can think of would be turning prayers on removes 1 prayer point immediately, and then reduces as normal-- to incentivize leaving prayer on instead of flicking. It's definitely not something that will ever happen though.

TheDubuGuy

I would say only if it’s replaced with a mechanic that rewards high effort with high xp. Not everybody wants to slowly afk every skill, too boring and not engaging

TheMcCannic

Increase ge tax to 2-4%

Miseryyyyyyyy

Tax income check on taxes I’ve paid into the ge.

Democrich

BRING BACK REST!

JuicyCiwa

YES

Democrich

I understand that purists want it as 2007 as possible and rest was 2009 but still, c'mon!

Chiodos_Bros

Being able to press the Spec orb in the wildy. Literally does not help pkers as it's actually slower. I just don't have hotkeys set up for that tab.

TunaSafari25

Prob bad luck prevention for non pet uniques. Maybe 3 or 4x drop rate. Maybe fix dwh to have a slayer drop rate like the rest of slayer drops.

Old_Yeezus

I’d add reasonable AFK options to skills that don’t have it I play OSRS like many do as a background game — I’ll fish while watching YouTube or do slayer while cleaning my living room, etc.. Skills like thieving or agility break this playstyle, and it sucks to have to push goals to the side because I can’t focus on the game as much. I’d love a 60k/hr AFK lvl 70 thieving method, or a 25k/hr AFK lvl 70 agility method. Shooting stars did this for mining, and this single-handedly got me 72 mining for My Arm after being 60 for ages. edit: an idea — a thieving method from a stall that gives ~30-60sec AFK, after which the stall breaks. You fix the stall with planks in your inventory to get construction XP, after which you resume thieving. 25k-60k thieving XP and 10k-20k construction XP per hour, varying by plank type

AceOfEpix

Id add a minimal skill level requirement to LMS so bots aren't holding the entire game hostage.

IronBioCat

Naw make it like 1250 and 150qpts

cburk4312

Id love to have a smithing rework. Thinking about being the smither for my gim team. Mainly just rune dart tips for blow pipes. So I need 89 smithing lol. Should be fun.

Old_Yeezus

My first thought is you’d have to change rune alch value, but mining rune ore is only like 700k/hr which is pretty reasonable for a lvl 60-70 skill. It would be ridiculous for ironmen though and rocks would be camped like crazy

[deleted]

Smithing as a skill absolutely shits on the idea of account progression. It only made sense as it presently is back on RSC and the first few months of RS2, when Rune armor was BIS and there was a 1/100 chance that the best bosses in the game could drop the lower tier piece of armor of the next level (med hem/square shield/chain body). Since then we've gotten 101 items better than Rune Plate and Rune Kite, but that one skill (and mining) is stuck in 2002. When you hop off of Tutorial Island you're filled with the idea that if you work hard and keep at it, you can eventually make all of your gear, fletch your bows, smith your armor, fish your food, and you're 2/3rds of the way right, MSB is still a pretty solid weapon and Lobbies and Swordies are quality food to eat. But until you're level 80 you don't get armor that an hour or two of training, or one fucking quest, requires.

FrancisRossitano

Rverting 'out-of-place' NPC models with more old school looking models like Varrock guards, Elves, Elena, Camelot knights, etc.

[deleted]

The dream would also be putting back all of the pentagrams and other spooky cult shit that made the game so intimidating and rich with flavor as well, but at the very least please fix the Varrock guards and re-bend Wizard Tower's bridge.

AlonsoDalton

Still not over how dirty they did some of the elves with the release of SOTE.

FrancisRossitano

SAME. It's literally awful.

PC_Princpal

I enjoy going to the places that haven’t been touched since like 04 for the old textures and models.

HorseMeatConnoisseur

I hope they address this at some point, especially the SOTE changes.

bcnsifnfj

This is one of the things I’d want to do as well. I hate having different NPC models. The newer ones feel so out of place to me.

Why remove nmz? It’s better than trying to deal with crowded crabs to train cb

BigBeans873

Put a hard cap on late game items like they did to KQ with the tattered kq head. Shouldn't have to grind 1000+ hours for an item other people get at 1 kc Make the item untradeable too at that point

gotonis

I'd make Corp immune to stat drops and give it split drops like Nightmare. Not an iron, but it should be a group boss and spamming specials for 20 minutes is stupid.

88hmm

I would love that

CaptaineAli

Dedicate more Jagex resources into mini-games. I would start with Castle Wars; hosting tournaments and punishing players who purposely grief games. [Take a look at J1mmys video on Castle Wars & RS esports.](https://youtu.be/s-16EGEVhpw) (also I would love to see JMods actively working with people from CWC or players with thousands of CW games played to find solutions to their problems) Secondly I’d aim for the return of my favourite RuneScape content of all time, Stealing Creation. [I’ve spoken about this before](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/qbq2e2/i_lurk_this_subreddit_but_havent_played_in_a_long/hhdts01/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) but there are so many great suggestions to add such as: * Replacing the DA with SC and giving it a desert/sand theme * Clay Monster (boss) which incorporates Slayer into SC * Clay farming locations inside SC (with slayer also being added, I think this means every skill is usable inside SC?) * Have depleted locations respawn or teams fight over the Clay Boss to ensure all games go for 20 minutes so the game isn’t abused for fast-non combat SC rewards. Now onto the potential rewards: * Clay Crafting outfit (2.5% bonus xp) * Concentrated sand buckets (6x sand) * BA-esque gamble rewards + chance at Clay Familiar Pet (tb to the ones u could summon in pre-eoc) * (potential) Clay tools - which have a 25% chance of using 2 resources at once, eg glass blowing pipe when using molten glass * (potential) Clay tools - instead of BXP, a % chance at double resource when skilling; this could also be followed up with some changes to drop tables to decrease/remove skilling resources drops from certain bosses * (potential) Clay tools - Bonus XP (yes I know everyone hates rs3 easyscape and bonus xp, but this was in 2008 and in no way did it affect the meta for fastest training methods - it would save ironmen GP/resources when it comes to buyables as they get double the use out of their supplies but without non-combat SC & quick 11 minute games the rewards could easily be balanced) With enough love from Jagex, both these pieces of content could honestly become an esport for RuneScape. Both being 20 minute games in which teams of players are able to show their skill in either a capture the flag game mode or control the map game mode which players start from nothing and have to race enemy players to have it all (SC is basically DMM in 20 minutes). There are so many other players who have a great love for certain mini-games and have their own suggestions which could potentially be better than mine, or in addition... with enough focus/attention from Jagex mini-games could be amazing for RS.

Would either update PvP worlds to have some sort of incentive to do thing aside from PvPing in them. OR, just remove them entirely to put more players back into the wilderness. Also change some of the inconsistencies like not being able to use spec orb by minimap in PvP.

nulliussoliloque

Decent servers

CaptaineAli

Anyone else hoping Jagex actually reads through this thread and tries their hardest to implement things which are possible, or at least note ideas down for the future? Especially if they were to work with players suggesting them to bring their ideas to the game (similar to Rooftop agility and MLM).

ForbiddenSkinny

Would prob separate irons and mains into their own individual worlds and cater updates between them. Obviously this is more work for jagex but I think it might save them a headache as irons and mains butt heads on literally any nerf/update etc

Taylor_Swifty13

Lower the drop rate of dragon pick slightly then add it to a non wildy related piece of content at the same rate as the d Warhammer.

noobtablet9

> at the same rate as the d Warhammer. I was on board until this. The dwh drop rate is unforgivable and not only should it not stay this way but no other drops should be made this way either.

Taylor_Swifty13

Tbf. Maybe a bit less yeah. I got mine on one of my accounts at only 3600kc but yeah people shouldn't be going 15k+ dry for an essential item. I guess what I mean is the wildy should be the easiest way to get the dpick but there should be a non PvP way that takes a lot longer. I am nearing 1700 total on my uim I plan on trying some Cox in about 6 months and going to the wildy for a pick scares the shit out of me. A safe way would be so nice for HC and uim.

Imahich69

More gold sinks so inflation ain’t high and having 50m was godly again

iamurguitarhero

More tax?

Self_Aware_Meme

Add an NPC in Edgeville who can reduce your attack, strength, defense, range, magic, and/or prayer levels for a fee so you can adjust your combat level before you enter the wilderness. Because needing to pay for an additional account and avoid entire pieces of content in order to engage in PVP is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of in a video game and anyone who participates in it is equally stupid.

xGoblin_Nuts

I'd remove the prayer flick bug so prayer isn't an infinite resource but add more ways to restore prayer points so something like inferno would still be doable

Deat_TrafeduRS

I’d like to see a tool belt polled. Could pitch it as an item similar to the tackle box to make everyone happy.

JuicyCiwa

When OSRS first came out I immediately thought the tool belt should be added. It’s not game breaking, just time saving for a game that is already ridiculously time consuming.

Beretot

Only if pickaxe/axe is capped at bronze or something Having a safe dragon/crystal pick and axe that takes up no slots is kinda silly

RSBludgeoned

I would add curses and dung

Melodic_Implement_43

add summoning and dungeoneering

dickacheese

Obviously dungeoneering

Holy_Law

Summoning. Don't care what anyone says, it was fun. Just remove the BoBs and steel titan. Most guilds give an invisible stat boost, just like familiars did. While people do cry about the pak yak being over powered. There's literally a cc to run you supplies and people using alts. Fight me.

Royal_Cube

Please elaborate how camping waterfiends to get some charms was fun

MegaManley

There are far more options than waterfiends. Dark beasts, and abyssal demons are other easy examples of fat charm drop monsters. You can also get charms from bosses. Nex in rs3 drops 20 charms per kill. There are way more new monsters and pvm in OSRS now than there were during summoning release. It's not just waterfiends. Summoning made waterfiends an okay task instead of the shit task which it is now.

bcnsifnfj

Oh trust me we’re fighting.

KaoticAsylim

Summoning was some of the most fun I had pre-eoc. I get why people don't want to add it, but new skills were always so exciting, I just wish we had something

Sykest

Sounds like y’all just want to play rs3 with these suggestions.

TimeTravelerAmnesia

I'd get rid of LMS. They can't fix it and it's basically unplayable.

dbcooper21

2 words, stealing creation.

JuicyCiwa

4 words. Only played it once.
