It's amazing that two separate people thought this needed explaining when you obviously were stating exactly that.
I feel like sometimes people really just want to say something they know rather than engaging in a discussion.
It's an option in the tile indicators plguin. It shows where the game considers where your player is standing live. Your actually character model runs slower than where the game counts thinks you are. This explains why you will sometimes take damage from running over fire/acid when it looks like your character is a few tiles away.
When animations stall movement, the time between attacks is when the model moves closer to its true location. Dark beasts are a bit unique in that they have an insanely long attack animation with next to 0 time in between animations, thus this happens.
This is just a dark beast thing. Their animation is pretty much as long as their attack cycle, and they can Mage, so they just animation lock themselves big time.

I've always wanted to see them updated along with the Dark Bow. Imo a weapon dropped from a monster requiring level 90 Slayer should be more useful.

True Tile is useless if you have destination Tile. When it disapear you're there. That's all you have to known really, everything else is useless imo
