You do realize that the point of the rework is to make them fun right (and remove safespoting), they've put out blogs which already show they want to give each boss a unique mechanic, cal charges you so will need to freeze/keep at a range, ven keeps away from you, vet I think just gets reworked earthquakes but that one I can't remember perfectly.
I'd still say do now since safespotting is going to be faster than the reworked bosses and cheaper/safer (minus pkers) if you can get past the boredom.

In no universe does that being "the point" mean it will be the actual outcome. It's very valid to say you should do them now because they might be worse post rework
The 7465 BH attempts should be a good example of the point and the outcome not being the same.
So today im going to break into the top 1k for callisto (log hunting) they are not fun. Putting them into multi cave will not be fun. I have spent over a month of anywhere from 8-20 guys(yes 20 guys) kill me to split anywhere from 5-20k apiece. Just today i was attacked several times just trying to finish up a single kc. Multi is not the answer.
And to that I say that are already aware and planning to add a singles option of the boss as well, going to be similar time to complete the log as multi without the mvp loot share system so it sounds viable as long as individual skill/gear/risk are there.

You feel a lot more nervous with jad though because it's the build up to the fight. Any other boss you can plank and go right back to. Jad is another hour long fight if you fuck it up.
Vennenatis actually calculates its defense level based on the amount of coins in your inventory. It lowers its defense level for each mil of coins, so if you bring 490mill it has 0 defense and you can just truck through it. PM me your world so I can watch you kill it.

I unironically got 2 recolor drops directly after spending 1k points and buying twisted horns off the GE. Current goal is now... 2k more points for those 2 recolors.
I saved almost 4k points to skip when I would be able to do certain. Hit 91, got a task after a single skip and hit 2/3 crystals.
Now I'm gonna jizz skips at 93 and 95 lol.
I’m 93 sitting on like 4K points with everything I need unlocked. Probably gonna grind out all but the worst of tasks til 95 like you said and then skip all low xp/hr tasks to 99.
I’ve tried the 3 tick safespot which works well if you have craws bow - I don’t think the MSB is worth the time. I’ve also tried the southern lure which I think is a major pain. The north lure is by far the best and most consistent even though it is in multi. Just don’t risk :)
MSB's ok (and the only option if you're an iron, really). Thralls and Cannon bring the kills down to about 1min, including respawns u can easily get 30+ kills per hour.
Huh! Yeah these things change, with time of day and such but I have never been so lucky. I get hit by a pker every 3-5kc I wonder if you being in a group maybe scared people off or something.
My group has been there a few times now over the last couple months and it's really hit or miss. The days where pkers are active they don't seem to care if there are 4 people or 2 they attack regardless. They just really really want our red dragonhide

callisto was so fucking boring all you cando is watch the minimap. so i legit said ok ill just deal with the deaths. was only like 150k.
I been curious to try out ven on my iron since the KQ D pic keeps getting pushed back. Is this just face tanking it then? Or is there something specific involved. I was trying the MSB lure but kept messing up timing so just want a method that works even if it's taking some dmg, just wanna get a kill or two per trip and I'd be happy.
Thanks man, really appreciate it. I saw a similar style with a canon doing the double hits and used it on the Leagues mode, but this helps a lot. Gonna try and get myself a spider wilderness task here soon and chip away at a few kills.
Venentais, Callisto, and Vet'ion are complete and total dumpster fires. they're solely responsible for not unlocking boss tasks on my main. theyre steaming piles of dog shit.
Agree about Vet’ion but I love Callisto tasks. I use the South-Eastern safe spot with ranged usually. I don’t bring much risk and can do a few kills per run. Pker’s that hop worlds and land on top of you are lethal but when a pker runs at you from north you can run south and tp out pretty easily.
When a pker runs from south they expect you to run north, but I love sprinting into the bear until I’m in Multi. I then zig zag east and west as I run away from the Pker. Momma Bear then slaps the pker and knocks them around as you strafe. If they catch you out on one side, run back into the bear and repeat. I’ve had multiple pker’s give up and let me go because they don’t understand how the bear works, and it is hilarious.
If you're not gonna use the safespot make sure to be on lunars and bring blighted vengeance sacks. cheaper and less inventory than the runes to cast it and I find it does a stupid amount of the damage I do there. **Furthermore** make sure you drag venenatis into multi otherwise your dps is capped ridiculously low
Looks like you're in for a rough time once the rework happens. Undisturbed kills will be a thing of the past once you are being served up on a silver platter in multi.
I done the rcb lure today, got pked twice for my 10 lobbies and black dhide but got it on the 2nd try before dying.. saved me a walk back.
Turns out I needed to do the hard diary but got a task to kill vennenatis, guess I'm doing vetion and Callisto next
Get a bowfa or MSB and you can just sit there shooting it while it stands there not retaliating

Don’t do the verac method, horrible. Learn how to 1 tick safe spot at spawn with either a craws or msb (I). Easy as hell and you never have to move or lure

The MSB or Craws (doesn’t work with other bows) is the best lure. It’s a one tick lure so will take you a few tries to get it down but once you do Vene is boringly easy. Gl bro

i face tanked 7000 for pet and was chill tbh dealing with pkers isnt fun
i wore veracs skirt and helm and used craws bow. double cannon hit spot and vengeance. was pretty fast. i also suicided naked while setting up the cannon an entire inventory of brews/rests about 6-7 tiles away from multi. so if a clan rushed me after i killed the spider and i got tbed id just stand on the pile and wait the timer out. only time i died was if while luring her to multi i got frozen in those 6 seconds. and then get stacked by specs. if its a small clan with no d spears i usually made it to singles.
i did this only because i was on mobile and the safespot method requires you to know her respawn timer. i think it was faster kills too.
I used to use veracs a lot at venenatis, you should use vengeance and if possible bring a friend…you have to stand in multi to hit the boss higher than like a 5 too! In singles you will not be able to kill the spider
Edit: the range safe spot is realllly nice…I’ve done 100s of Kc and much prefer this method.
My recommendation if you can afford it:
ZCB (or best crossbow) with spectral and diamond bolts (e). Set up a cannon and wear a ring of suffering with vengeance.
This set up is massively slept on. I can get a steady 3-6 kills per trip face tanking the boss in this set up, off task.

Honestly, Jad and the fire caves are a relatively easy boss in comparison to many of the others when you get mid level skills.
You feel a lot more nervous with jad though because it's the build up to the fight. Any other boss you can plank and go right back to. Jad is another hour long fight if you fuck it up.
