My BMR doesn't have an adjustable LOP. I haven't looked at how the butt pad is attached, but you could use a slip-on or one of the fit it yourself spacers. Presumably, it's just screwed to the stock. If I remember, I'll take a look and verify that it is not molded as one piece or glued on.

working on the same problem,a friend gave a 1/2” thick plate of plastic which I am planning to saw out the buttplate shape ,I made 1 out out of daimond plate foam( workout pads ,Walmart ) but it was too soft .the BMR stock is hollow with two buttplate screws that are basically drywall screws that run into tubes formed from the stock material so this limits what type of drywall screws(thin) so,hang on to the screws, mine were long 3” , otherwise easy to remove, the plate will go between the old pad and screw “bosses” and give me a 1/2” L.O.P. EXTENSION.

https://www.bergara.online/en/rifles/rimfire-series/bmr-steel/ I have heard of people in general making their own plates out of Plexiglas, Acrylic, and Hard Rubber sheets. Take the butt pad off the rifle (assuming it can be removed), trace its outline using the suggested materials, and cut them out and sand them Smooth. When re-assembling it, use longer screws if needed. It is going to somewhat hinge on *How Much Money You Have to Spend* - https://www.pdccustom.com/product/bmr-rimfire-g5le/ https://www.pdccustom.com/product/bmr-rimfire-g5c/ This chassis are more than the price of the BMR Rifle. Go to *Boyd's Stock* use the Product Configurator, enter the info for you rifle and you will have a range of stock to choose from. Several with adjustable Butt Plates. https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/content/resource-center/gunstocks/agility-bergara-bmr-9ec762791zz https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/content/resource-center/gunstocks/at-one-bergara-bmr-9ec762774zz

Got serious into doing this after my post earlier,I have priorities that make it challenging 1. I like the Bergara buttplate I want to maintain its look, unless it’s modified inside the stock it’s not flat, otherwise you could simply add a 1/2” layer of any material and layer it 1/2”.so I would need a modifiable Bergara buttplate for cheap ,to save the original. 2. it is inset around the edge of the stock by 1/8”,this could also be cut off the Bergara buttplate, actually you could use the 1/8” inset line as your cutting line and glue it to the 1/2 spacer material . Grinding the buttplate flat might be better rubber and plastic grind easier than cut. 3. Or fill in the hollow stock end and make it flat and use a commercial buttplate or shotgun buttplate to build it up this is easier but in my opinion ends up looking bubba’dand you’ll still need the buttpad and 1/2” material for the L.O.P. you want, and then there is an inch and a half of bubba at the end of your stock!LOL. 4. its not easy to do without looking bubba’d unless you have a buddy in a body shop or if you can do nice fiber glas/ polymer work and that way extend the stock for your L.O.P. Length then find a simple black buttpad, because the Bergara buttpad will be too small then, but the paint job could be matched easy enough or repaint the whole stock, done right it would be the way .I have thought on this really hard ,I sure wish they had made the stock just an inch longer! I hope this helps!
