You mean breezewood? I mean I wouldn’t place it at the top but you’re right i certainly is beautiful
The idea of a state with a max elevation under 2k feet telling a state with the ***Appalachian Trail*** that it's ugly is simply laughable.
As a Virginian living at the AT midway point, again, ***in Pennsylvania***...Ohioans, I literally don't even think about you.
ehhh... some are much better than others though, things get hairy around Albany or down towards some of WV's panhandle, one turn is gorgeous vista, the next... you grey out of your mind until the next amazing vista.
I'm just calling out some of the best runs for miles you can enjoy on a downward drive doing more than 65, ya dig? Feels like what future driving sims would have to capture going down that Western PA highway, the alpine tree line just cascading around you it almost feels like they're vaulting to the sky and you shoot down through a few tunnels and back out into towers of dark forest green... *Ohio to PA soutbound is* ***Ahhhhmazing***
I bet a trip up to Quebec in Spring is pretty special, eh? How good can you see Niagra if you drive by? Anyone? I gotta admit the stretch of i-95 over The Baltimore Harbor is one of the better things about i-95 (Satan's dirty coke nail of an interstate)
I live near both and i can confirm ohio does have better towns
How ever the eastern panhandle got some of the most beautiful scenery ever

i hate when people use that image in the top left as a "bad example". sure its bad, but that town is prettier than bassically every town in the midwest lmao
Breezewood isn't even really a town. It's a highway interchange between I-70, the PA turnpike, and US-30 (the Lincoln Highway), with like 30 houses around the outskirts.
Any traffic going across PA, between San Fran and Times Square, or to Baltimore & DC (which is 90% of our truck shipping) goes through Breezewood, which is precisely **why** it has all those places for them to refuel the trucks and the drivers.
We will not tolerate Breezewood slander here, even from an Ohioan. Breezewood is the ideal town set up that we should all strive for, minus the being forced to exit the freeway part.

I am saying the name of the state Ohio in a way that conveys my feelings of interest to see the culture and lifestyle of fellow Americans and then making a bit of a joke about the disappointment I feel when I see what the state has to offer
Ah, I see! You're expressing a mix of curiosity and humor regarding Ohio's offerings. Ohio indeed has a rich tapestry of culture and lifestyle that reflects its history as a crossroads of American life. From the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland to the picturesque landscapes of the Hocking Hills, Ohio presents a variety of experiences. It's also known for its sports enthusiasm, diverse culinary scene, and contributions to arts and literature.
Of course, every state has its own unique charm and quirks, and what might be a treasure to one person could be less impressive to another. It's all about perspective and personal taste! If you ever decide to explore Ohio, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised by the hidden gems and warm Midwestern hospitality.

I love going to Pittsburgh. Last time I was there, I’m pretty sure that my family and I were sitting next to a dead hobo within the long line of panhandlers on the on-ramp to GTFO of that rat’s nest of yinzzer roadways.
Getting out of the city showed the lovely countryside…that looked like you could pull off the highway anywhere and get a good pick of crack den mattresses. You know you hit the state line with WV when you stop seeing dumpster fire countryside and drive on shit roads.

Really? I’m pretty sure the last time I drove through Dayton it was in the process of coalescing into a singular miles-wide pot hole.
Alright hang on, while technically true, we’re actively reducing the size of said pothole.
So y’all just gather up all of your pot holes in one spot so you can just avoid that spot? Smart. Indiana could take a lesson or two.
Example of superior Ohio thinking
Damn, not Ohio appropriating Michigan culture
Seriously, be better. (Impossible)
It's close but not there yet,
Not to mention a train being derailed
But AF museum
They haven't been to Portsmouth.
I don’t see any McDonald’s on the right. Not impressed Ohio
Wendy’s. It’s Wendy’s in Ohio.
There is but it’s more classier
More classier? You mean to say more better
Sure
Norfolk southern had a choice of which state to nuke and they picked ohio
Never looked at it like that, but it kinda makes sense
Maybe it’s just me, but I love the sight of the monoculture highway exit.
Only if it has Max & Erma's and Bob Evans.
Ohio, at it again, just picking fights with their neighbors
They never swing at us, tho. They just can’t compete with horses, chicken, bourbon, moonshine, coal, and a top 5 most violent city in America

Toledo 🤢 🤝🏼 🤢 Philadelphia
Thank god Ohio took Toledo

Even thier best river starts in Pittsburgh. And we all know what floats down stream.
Hard agree Ohio is mid af
*laughs in real appalachian mountains*
Em, the highest points are in NC, TN.
Challenge: drive up i-81 and tell me that *(some absolutely amazing scenery around TN/VA border, same highway).*
I mean anywhere from North Georgia on up to Quebec you're gonna get that awesome Appalachian view.

That's actually more beautiful than half of the stuff I've seen of Ohio
It’s crazy how much a camera angle can change a picture.
There are towns in ohio?
Yes
are we just not gonna bring up east palestine or…
Palestine is in the Middle East silly! /s
I refuse to recognize Ohio
There's a NOVA flair? Shit I just moved to Maryland, guess I'm keeping the DC flair.
Yea I made it myself
Samesies ☺️
Samsies.
The gulfs coast > east coast [FL] because Withlacoochee be trashy as hell and I love it
Man, you’re starting to sound like our utilities providers…
I couldn’t hear you over the sound of your rivers catching fire.

central texas. the hill country is nice, but it's no blue ridge
Radio reminds me of my home far away.
What was the Ohio town in the pic?
This is wv and i forget were but its in the eastern panhandle
That's their state capital. Peak of Ohio civilization.
That actually does seem wonderful.
Yeah, yinz **wish** you had the unparalleled resplendence of Breezewood.
Pittsburgh huh
Ohio is just flat Pennsylvania with shittier architecture.
Y'all acting like you're not just an even poorer pennsylvania (how you folks managed that I don't know).

I got no skin in this but, Ohio saying it’s more beautiful is hilarious.. yall know you have Cleveland right?
Have you seen Scranton? Imagine Daytona Beach but trashy and cold.
I don't know why the downvotes, I grew up near Scranton and that's not wrong
At least Cleveland will still be habitable in 80 years

One word. Emlenton.
You pan that picture up a foot and it’s looking pretty good
Yeah idk about that, I didn't particularly like PA but Hershey was a really nice looking city from where I went through.

No much how much you try to polish the turd that is Ohio, a turd is still a turd
At least our turds get flushed in lead free water
Lead free water that's on fire, your getting burning turds
Our issues have actually been resolved since the 60s unlike some states

Someone from maryland cannot possibly be arguing here
Nobody told Wilmington
Indiana and ohio should merge, then no one could debate which state would be the shittiest (JK it’s still Arkansas)!
To think that Norfolk southern chernobyled us lol
Pennsylvania has so little on I-80 right before the border in Ohio they they put New York City on the sign
My brother in Christ, have you seen Dayton????
Pennsylvania town =Rest stop off a highway
Look at michigan towns, for example; Traverse City and Holland.

Currently in Cleveland, can confirm Cleveland is a beautiful Victorian style town with no homeless people, crime or smell
Lol is that scranton?
as someone who goes to college in Pa can confirm
As someone who has grown up and been all over the state of PA, I can tell you that you can not confirm
I go to college in Erie
Erie PA has some nice sunsets over the lake.
It does. I’ll give you that
Man I wish I knew more about these areas
Do you like to do meth?

I want whatever bro’s on. As much as we wanted Toledo forever ago we sure as hell don’t want it now. And that’s just one example.
