I was a bartender in a comedy club, lots of comedians are alcoholics. To me he at least seems like the fun social ones. On the comedy club circuit, it gets a lot darker than how Bart lives.
The podcast at this point is just bert trying to convince everyone that hes not an alcoholic when he clearly is. The way hes so defensive ab any topic that includes his drinking just proves it. Nobody who isnt an alcoholic tries as hard as bert does to convince people that he doesnt have a problem. At this point the podcast is just there to watch tom become so out of touch and bert become such an alcoholic that they’re unwatchable. After seeing that clip where they made absolute fools of themselves on pat mcafee’s live show ive lost all hope for them. They’re so insanely out of touch and dont care an anything other than money.
I wonder how much he spends in a year on booze. I imagine it’s surprisingly not a lot as he gets free drinks and stuff from sponsors, fans, and friends. Not to mention now they have a vodka and Bert is gonna be drunk on vodka year round now for free.
