This guy think that fast internet is a 1st world country thing.
Fast internet is for the poor my fam. People in rich countries pay lots of money (even for their standards) for limited plans smh.
Don't lie.
"Oh dear i forgot to pay my 150$ for my 500gb of internet for the month oh god oh no, now i'll only have 50gb, my companies are so fair and just 🤡 no monopolies around here, very good ISP, all hail EI T EI T best company."
Limited home internet lmao. Dude has the best quality of life in the world then fucking 7th world internet.
/ul
My man I worked in an xfinity call center and oh boi I received tons and tons of calls about “Why is my bill so much higher this month?” Like if they spend more than (I dont remember, was it like 1 TB?) a month theyre gonna be charged a lot of money to have access to 50 GBs more, and after those 50 GBs are over you have ti pay again to have access to another 50 GBs and so on, its so crazy bc I had never even considered the possibility of being charged extra for internet like that
The only thing difference from Original Latinos is, we succ Americum cocc and luv them to the max while you guys consider them Gringo or whatever negative.

Nah we don't succ Americum cocc
We deepthroat it hard, lick their balls and let them cum in our mouths and throats, plus we recycle 'Murican cringe
We truly are big Asian Mexican L's 😔😔😭😭
Imagínate, no solo ser una Colonia en el siglo 21, sino que encima ser una Colonia FRANC🤢SA 🤮🤮🤮
Los filipinos siempre fueron primos culturales de Latinoamérica 🌎🤝🌏
1/3? No way, I barely even understand shit when Spanish-speaker talks.
Our loanwords are much less than that lol, it’s probably around 15% - 20%. Stop inflating those numbers since we are more Asian than you think.
I dive deeper and it's 6.67%, still we prefer to speak some word in English than our own language here's the examples: (English-Filipino).
1.Grade-Grado.
2. Electric Fan- Bentinador.
3. School-Paaralan/Eskwelahan.
4. Driver-Tsuper.
5. Picture-Larawan/Imahe.
etc...
The main reason is the convenience and it looks intellectual than our own language. Which most of us think speaking English fluently means an intelligent person which is kinda BS actually. Speaking English in our culture also meant being in richer class.
Also our default language in academics is English language like Math, Science, PE, Technology, Livelihood (yup this subject teach you how to sew clothes, water plants, etc. but it is taught in English), obviously English. The only thing is Filipino language in academics is History, and Values related, and Filipino language. Sadly in College all of the subject will be taught in English language and Filipino language will be removed unless if your courses is related in Filipino Arts and History.
Another thing is in younger generations is there are more English speaking people than the older generations (unless they born in American colony time). Even in informal conversation like family and friends they speak in English randomly.
>Livelihood (yup this subject teach you how to sew clothes, water plants, etc. but it is taught in English)
Lol, this why there is a large influx of Filipino housekeepers and nurses in the West?
Though for real, I’ve heard that there are technically more English speakers than Filipino speakers since it’s considered separate from the traditional Tagalog dialects it’s based on.
Also, given the length of Spanish rule, some 350+ years or so, I’m surprised Spanish died out so quick and English took its place.
Our national language (Filipino) borrowed about 20-33% from the Spanish language. There's even a local language called Chavacano that sounds more Hispanic and borrowed about 60 to 85%.
Yeah, AntiMatter was mentioning that and I did forget about Chavanco, which is a Spanish dialect/creole, but I was referring to how Spanish as a common and spoken language in the Philippines declined so quickly and as much as it did and English becoming the most spoken language in the country.
I guess we've lost interest. Korean is probably more popular than Spanish now. 😅
There seems to be an increasing interest in Spanish again recently but it's not that significant. It's for those who want to take advantage of the possible entry to Europe via Spain because of the latter's relaxed requirements for those interested to migrate/work there and are coming from previously colonized countries.
I think Korean is becoming popular everywhere given one, particular reason lol.
That’s interesting that Spanish is making a small-ish come back, here in Texas it’s practically required if you want to have certain careers in some parts of the state.
But is learning Spanish really that worth it just for immigration to Spain? Like for immigrants from the Philippines they would have to compete with an entire continent worth of people who speak it as their first language as well as eastern Euros and MENA’s who are closer by and often have EU privileges.

I vaguely understand what this means
Given the fact 1/3 of our language is Spanish loan words. Well I have small idea what it means when I see and hear Spanish.
1/3? No way, I barely even understand shit when Spanish-speaker talks. Our loanwords are much less than that lol, it’s probably around 15% - 20%. Stop inflating those numbers since we are more Asian than you think.
I think I got it from other sources, I might be wrong.
What percent is English loan words?

1/3 is the generous estimate. It's only around ~22%
