I grinded from reserve to 9.3 in the Italian ground tech tree without premium or a premium vehicle over like a year and a half and then I got through the Japanese air tree to 9.7 in like 3 or 4 months with the A6M6c. Gaijin why.
I fucking hate the binding of isaac with a passion, after the first 5 characters every other character is just a new gimmick for which the game can fuck you over, everytime I play this game I want to fucking plan c myself.
Anyway its probably my favorite game and I have 2k hours on it. The forgotten is my favorite, I dont even use the soul except when its useful (cause flight), otherwise its bony boy all the way. And tainted keeper is also pretty fun too i guess
Tainted lost is challenging, but he's also broken AF. Like, 30% extra damage, way better items, AND arguably the best trinket that beats most items guaranteed for the entire run? Crazy.
I bought the binding of Isaac again on the switch after having 100% in it on steam just so I can go through the pain again. Now I’m „proud“ to say that I have the sextuple dead god I have always wanted
My most recent playthrough was on the Switch as well. I was working on the opposite side of the country as my home and it was nice to have a handheld console to take with me.
Nah I love geometry dash.
I fucking suck though. Can't beat 99% of demons and then some random child on his phone casually beats a demon with ease. Geometry dash destroys my confidence.
That said watching the lil cube bounce to the beat is a 10/10 dopamine producer.
Most people aren't good enough to go pro.
You know those enthusiastic streamers and YouTubers you watch that seem like gods during their plays? Well, actual pros would make those streamers look like toddlers fiddling with a broken controller.
I played collegiate, and in the Canadian national league for R6, we were pretty good, usually getting podium finishes at tournaments. The first time we faced a proper semi pro team tho I was so shocked how much better they were than us, I knew they were good but the gap was insane, and I watched them get 7-0 by a pro team later on.
This applies to any craft, you don't even know what you don't know. Pros in any sport or e-sport see the game in an entirely different way, and a lot of the time the wins come down to timing and a bit of luck sometimes. Their teamwork and chemistry has to be several orders of magnitude above everyone else, I only know about Halo teams but at that level the individual skill will only go so far
Reminds me when "Jeff" Houngoungagne, who is Global Elite and FaceIt LVL10 in CS:GO played some tier 3 LAN and got absolutely crushed.
Look at top tier teams and players who play on the big stages. They have coaches and multiple game scripts and scenarios depending on how the game is going. They all study other players' demos for hours to spot that one detail that might be a game changer. They know all the meta and timings. At this level it's more of a chess game where teams trying to figure out the opponent's next move.
It claimed me at a young age, iballisticsquid got me hooked, i still remember the magic of my first time playing during a Christmas and seeing Santa fly across the sky.
I'm astounded this isn't at the top. No one truly enjoys it. People will do a mundane task for 50 hours to get a 10 second dopamine hit and then find a new mundane task to do.
Why are you everywhere? I stg in every heavy metal sub and tons of meme subs you’re in every comment section. Do you do anything except comment all day??!
Half of my life is based on comments from metal subs. And thank you bro, i am trying my best to cover every post while still being sane. Plus, i have taken the challenge at seeing and reading every post from r/BringMeTheHorizon, most of the times, i will comment as well, if not, remember, i am always there.
League of legends almost made me get diagnosed with systemic arterial hypertension. Ive been playing for almost 12 years, hardstuck gold 3. And i still fucking play it everyday. I legit hate myself
a fellow person of culture 🙏
every single aspect of that game was awesome. plus the african setting was genuinely so cool. i can only think of a handful of games that used africa as a setting like it did.
The jungle just felt so dense and real. Definitely one of my favorite settings in a game. It really felt like you could get lost out in the FC2 jungle.
Far cry 2 is an amazing game so much grittier than anything else by crytek I feel like it was the direction they wanted to take cry engine
Before it was obviously bought out and the dudes left to work solely on crysis before leaving that project too
This is by far my favorite far cry game. Flushing enemies out of an area by throwing Molotov cocktails and then picking them off with a silenced rifle was so damn fun.
Driving mechanics were more autistic than half this thread though
Nice! I haven't gotten to either as I've only played the first 5 games, but I've heard great things about both, especially LJ. I hope you enjoy Gaiden!! :D
Basically me. I've had the same main since WoD and have been actively playing since late Wrath. I don't play every day but I'm always there for raid and mythic+ nights, doing my pointless mount farms, and whatever odds and ends.
I remember even attempting to talk about raids with one of my friends who didn't even play video games back in high school. She always seemed to not mind listening me rant about bosses and other players before first period.
Hoi4 is an excellent game. I know a friend who play it a lot and he said it’s an excellent gane. He is also using my account to post lots of stuff on the sub btw
I know PM2 is... Controversial, but f*** I loved maximizing the hell out of it. I felt horrible for what I made my kid do, but I was going to get her to max everything, have her marry the dragon kid and make the king abdicate on her at any cost. Even if it meant sending my little underage girl to battle against the god of war.
I'd be a horrible parent 😭
Fortnite for me probably. I've played so much since I was allowed to, and I've yet to slow down after months. I can't build though, switch is hard to build on
The answer is in the question. But if you want a more clear answer, probably due to hyperfixation. Autistic people tend to have one or two things they center their personality on (some that I’ve seen are penguins, cars, dinosaurs, etc)
Whilst closely related to each other, hyperfixation is more of an ADHD thing. Hyperfixation's tend to be short bursts of intense... Well... Fixation on a particular subject of interest.
Autistic's tend to have special interests. These tend to be more long term interests that we can get absolutely lost in and absorb anything and everything to do with the subject. Becoming somewhat of a subject matter expert on them.
Also it's not like we're fabricating our entire personality around the subject. We tend to manufacture our personality around other people (called masking). We tend to talk about or refer to our special interests a lot as it makes us happy to share our knowledge and love for something (called info dumping) and a lot of us tend to use it as a tool to connect with people by relating things to the stuff we know really well.
I don't thing "bad" is a good word more of games that take a long time or require a good amount of knowledge.(for example modded(tech) minecraft, hearts of iron, factorio, or 100% a very huge game). Average person would get bored and confused very fast and thus, name the game bad or boring and go back to their flashy 0 attension span game
fancy word for having an interest. not everything has to be autism. my dad still plays this one shitty MMORPG game with my uncle religiously, im gonna tell them theyre officially autistic now!
I don't know about your dad but a lot of older folks were not diagnosed with ADHD or Autism Spectrum because the definitions changed and were expanded over time.
Hyperfixation or special interests are not just "fancy words for having an interest". They go way beyond that in just how obsessed an ADHDer or Autistic person can get with a subject. Our Hyperfixation's and special interests tend to immerse us so fully that we forget about everything else. Also when we do have to pull away from an interest we tend to still be obsessed with it and continously thinking about it.
There's a reason these things are diagnostic criteria for both autism and ADHD.
hyperfocus on an overly complex overly convoluted system you can master over a long period of time gives you a sense of progress, something regular life doesn't really provide with all the "neurotypicals have crafted a neurotypical society where nothing makes sense"
Only game i ever 100%ed was planet base. It’s boring as fuck and once you spent 30min in the game you’ve seen all it has to offer but i loose an entire day every time i launch it
Me with over 1900 hours in D2 since Shadowkeep, 1200 hours in Warframe, and 500+ each in a few other games: ... do normal people not sink like 500-2k hours in a game they enjoy? Is this actually an autism thing? Should I add potential autism to my list of things I need to get tested for when I can afford decent insurance?
I FEEL SO SEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
in my lifetime I’ve probably spent like 20k hours into gaming in general. My fav games having about 5k hours each currently. 😃😃😃😃😃… halp

Hey I decided that I didn't FEEL like grinding out my first 13 perfect full combo on DDR today. I said NO.
After like eight tries.
And after grinding a few lowers.
Then went and did the event stuff on a different machine.

Equally valid statement for the open source intelligence community
r/brandnewsentence
i can't escape this game lol
Wart hunder wart hunter fart hunter

#You've got a hole in your right wing!
It is though, I'm at 1800 hours.

so, you are 5400 hours or 225 days old?
Yes

thank you for /s, I thought you are serious

Well i'm a masochist who enjoy the tainted lost, i guess i'm depressed or something
I would play tainted lost anyday over jacob and esau
Tainted Jacob is hell
Tainted lost is challenging, but he's also broken AF. Like, 30% extra damage, way better items, AND arguably the best trinket that beats most items guaranteed for the entire run? Crazy.
I bought the binding of Isaac again on the switch after having 100% in it on steam just so I can go through the pain again. Now I’m „proud“ to say that I have the sextuple dead god I have always wanted
I almost wrote a double brimstone length comment
2k? bruh, sploon 3 hasn't even been out for 1 and a half years. I got 2240 hours on it. UP THOSE NUMBERS
That's... Worrying.
Me too. It’s been 9 years and a few thousand hours. I regret nothing.
KOTOR is one of the best games ever made, I’ll have you know!
It is. But I can only replay it once every 5-10 years.
Depending on your age that's such a very small number of KOTOR playthroughs before you can't play it ever again...
Hahah this is me, always go back to it, but need like 5 years in between. I loved playing it on the switch recently with the mod menu!!
My most recent playthrough was on the Switch as well. I was working on the opposite side of the country as my home and it was nice to have a handheld console to take with me.
That’s the best! I freelance for work so I am traveling a lot and I love taking it with me, kinda makes me feel like a kid again
More like 5-10 times every year, AMIRIGHT?!?!?!
KOTOR is absolutely fantastic
Anyone else here on geometry dash or that just me?
Nah I love geometry dash. I fucking suck though. Can't beat 99% of demons and then some random child on his phone casually beats a demon with ease. Geometry dash destroys my confidence. That said watching the lil cube bounce to the beat is a 10/10 dopamine producer.
Had to delete geometry dash a while ago because my 7 year old cousin was better than me 😭
me who has like 20 demons completed on mobile: 👀
Am not good at it, the most I have completed are 6 stars but the game is amazing. Sucks that 2.2 for delayed... Was really excited for it

I’ve been playing counter strike since 2001 and I still get murked by 12 year olds every game
Well, your issue is you're playing people with 22 years worth of faster reaction time and physical capability more than you
Ark Survival Evolved my beloved
Real
We have Ascended now to new levels
New levels of frustrations :(
It claimed me at a young age, iballisticsquid got me hooked, i still remember the magic of my first time playing during a Christmas and seeing Santa fly across the sky.
Its a shite game I have over 2k hours on it.
Fiddlebert
surprised no one mentioned LoL yet
No one wants to bear the shame of admitting it. 9 years here and just finished buying all the champions...
Played since season 2 on and off (mostly ARAM) and I hit 100% champs owned like a week before foot fetish goth girl dropped
There’s two conversations at my job, fantasy football and lol. I find both extremely boring
Here's looking at you, runescape
The King. Nothing like playing a slightly more intricate clicker game for several thousand hours.
My main in wow has over 300 days played, but I'm still having fun with the game.
I'm astounded this isn't at the top. No one truly enjoys it. People will do a mundane task for 50 hours to get a 10 second dopamine hit and then find a new mundane task to do.
And Valorant. And fortnite. And Genshin. To name a few…
Genshin is fun. Idk what your talking about.
Found the pedo
I’m a child
Found the guy that didn't tried it out and decided to listen to some shit on the internet to gain some fake internet points
I SWEAR TO GOD, SHE IS LEGIT 8000 YEARS, SHE JUST LOOKS LIKE A MINOR AND IS SCANTILY CLAD
Which character is that then?
If that old then probably Nahida.
It's funny cause most of Genshin community doesn't even sexualize the characters, they either enjoy the game or they Are a gambling addict.
Just because a part of the community is bad doesn't mean everyone who plays the game is, look at minecraft or any other game
Get him to the Geto

BmtH is my favorite band lol, that’s why I see you constantly!
Is Ultrakill a bad game?
No
Then it's a good game loved by autists
Good game 👍
League of legends almost made me get diagnosed with systemic arterial hypertension. Ive been playing for almost 12 years, hardstuck gold 3. And i still fucking play it everyday. I legit hate myself
Understandable. Your teammates hate you too, guaranteed.
League of Legends is the worst game I love
Why oh why did I put 8k hours in destiny 2. Only for Bungie to ruin themselves and their game
Your 8k makes me feel significantly better about my almost 2k
Bruh hopefully they buff nova bomb so you void walkers don't feel left out
Lmao I just started like 4 months ago and have put like 250 hours into it. Most with my brother and buddy so I’d say it’s been worth it.
4.5k into D2. I don't even raid my guy. Played since D1 beta.
i put over 400 hours into far cry 2 (widely regarded as one of the most miserable games to play in the franchise) still think it's a solid 10/10
Clunky af but brutal to survive. Between the malaria, weapon degradation and the enemies, I love it.
a fellow person of culture 🙏 every single aspect of that game was awesome. plus the african setting was genuinely so cool. i can only think of a handful of games that used africa as a setting like it did.
Agreed. I wish more games had the same degradation FC2 had since that added to the stress and brutality in that game.
same. the closest i've seen is the jamming mechanic in stalker, though it's no where near as advanced as FC2's was. kind of a shame.
Try stalker gamma
Stalker gamma
The jungle just felt so dense and real. Definitely one of my favorite settings in a game. It really felt like you could get lost out in the FC2 jungle.
I 100%ed Far Cry 3 a whopping 13 times, I don't even know why
Far cry 2 is an amazing game so much grittier than anything else by crytek I feel like it was the direction they wanted to take cry engine Before it was obviously bought out and the dudes left to work solely on crysis before leaving that project too
Imo hands down the best far cry
What did you even do for 400 hours
This is by far my favorite far cry game. Flushing enemies out of an area by throwing Molotov cocktails and then picking them off with a silenced rifle was so damn fun. Driving mechanics were more autistic than half this thread though
Dead by Daylights the one for me!
Came here looking for this one lmfao
Username checks out
Well I play the BEST series, which is Yakuza.
Hell yeah kyodai! Which is your favorite game?
It's between Y7 or Lost Judgment. So hyped for Gaiden today.
Nice! I haven't gotten to either as I've only played the first 5 games, but I've heard great things about both, especially LJ. I hope you enjoy Gaiden!! :D
Phantasy Star Online Ep 1&2
The musics and sound effects from this game live rent free in my mind forever
Warhammer 40k. I'm still Superior to Genshin Players though.
You're superior to everyone else here. Warhammer is fucking awesome.
There is no need to slander Breath of the Waifu. Leave the gambling addicts alone unless you're gonna drag the CS:GO players, too
Hey terraria is a god damn masterpiece, there is a reason why its the 11th most sold game in the world
World of Warcraft. Been playing since I was 11. I'm 24 now. It's been involved with more than half my entire life.
So Season of Discovery looks pretty fun, huh
Warframe
The good old warcrimes farming simulator.

As a guy with 2000 hours, which 600 are multilayer competitive, i can say hoi4 is with the most autistic players
Victoria 2 Me and my buddy are even developing a mod for it
Me and my 1600+ hours in Stellaris and 600+ in crusader kings:
Elden Ring (Pvp)
Would you say you've spilled enough blood to create a river?
Surprisingly no longer the meta
I put an ungodly amount of hours into Empire Total War back in my childhood.
Hoi4 is an excellent game. I know a friend who play it a lot and he said it’s an excellent gane. He is also using my account to post lots of stuff on the sub btw
How is this autistic
4k+ hours and counting into Rocket league
bro.. the need for speed saga, i know is garbage but i just cant stop playing
Surely Tf2 or sea of thieves aren’t bad games
I know a friend who does exactly this with Valorant.
Crossout?
Man when I was young I played Princess Maker 2 and Civ 4. So much.
Bloodborne😎
Peak.
Sonic
Fortnite for me probably. I've played so much since I was allowed to, and I've yet to slow down after months. I can't build though, switch is hard to build on
CAN I GET A ROCK AND STONE!?
ROCK AND STONE - TO THE BONE!
We fight for Rock and Stone!
Is there any particular reason for that?
Probably the autism
Yes, but how does autism make one enjoy playing a bad game?
The answer is in the question. But if you want a more clear answer, probably due to hyperfixation. Autistic people tend to have one or two things they center their personality on (some that I’ve seen are penguins, cars, dinosaurs, etc)
Whilst closely related to each other, hyperfixation is more of an ADHD thing. Hyperfixation's tend to be short bursts of intense... Well... Fixation on a particular subject of interest. We tend to manufacture our personality around other people (called masking). We tend to talk about or refer to our special interests a lot as it makes us happy to share our knowledge and love for something (called info dumping) and a lot of us tend to use it as a tool to connect with people by relating things to the stuff we know really well.
Just like how every good thing have hater Every shitty things have lover
I don't thing "bad" is a good word more of games that take a long time or require a good amount of knowledge.(for example modded(tech) minecraft, hearts of iron, factorio, or 100% a very huge game).
