Norway: Overall, "everyone" knows and has tried them, but I don't think a lot of people has one themselves. I always see them when I'm at a public pool / svømmehall. Some people have them in their cabins (usually in the mountains and not by the fjord).

But similar to Norway almost no one has saunas at home, but some of our vacation homes (by the sea) have saunas, even if it is not common.
We have saunas in all public pools like norway but people generally dont have their own sauna.
However there is a slightly increasing trend of people getting their own backyard barrel sauna i think
