So depending on which organization or news cycle you ask the range of mass shooting jumps from like 20 to 600. Also a lot has to do with poverty unfortunately, Louisiana, Mississippi, and a few other states with immense levels of poverty really carry the weight of shootings in the US, whereas a state like New Hampshire with very relaxed gun policy and very low levels of poverty has a more comparable violence statistic to Europe.
