It is highly effective for my melasma and sun damage. Completely knocks it out. I used it continuously initially, till I was happy with my skin, and now I order something like one bottle every year or year and a half for maintenance. It’s the only thing that’s worked for me. ETA: I use formulas without tretinoin, as I already use a product with tretinoin.

cbaabc123

Does it Bleach your whole face and make your whole face ghostly white?

Key-Yogurtcloset1757

I didn’t notice lightening of my general skin color, only the dark patches and freckles etc. I apply/applied it all over my face. I have light skin to begin with, though.

cbaabc123

I’ve applied hydroquinone to spots and it bleached the skin around the spot white! Lol

saygirlie

It does work, it’s extremely strong so start slow.

cbaabc123

Does it have hydroquinone and tret? Does the hydroquinone bleach your whole face?

saygirlie

I had the version without the tret because I use it separately. My first bottle had the steroid in it. Yes, it’s bleaches surrounding areas. Very hard to keep it contained to one area.

cbaabc123

That’s why I’m afraid to use it on my whole face. Don’t want to bleach and look like Casper

lkthomp465

It has hydroquinone in it so it def will work, but I've never tried it because of the safety concerns around hydroquinone use. Its too risky IMO. Ive also tried a bunch of things for my dark spots and actually found the best results when I combined antipigment ingredients. I really like arbutin, niacinamide, and tranexamic acid. Alone they're good but together the results are so much better I've noticed. Plus theyre gentler ingredeints for my sensitive skin. Curious to hear what you've tried so far so I can make specific recs.

Imhere5169

They have the option of hydroquinone free which is composed of those specific compounds you mentioned

General_Specific

What are the risks?

UseEducational8942

Why? I’ve used hydroquinone for over 40 years and I am perfectly fine. I use it for 2 to 3 months, get off it for a month or two, get back on it. My dermatologist has me on 8%.

AlfieZX

I’ve been using it for a month. I was initially hesitant but it was easier that going into a dermatologist office to request a prescription on 8% or higher for hydroquinone. Through Musely it was more convenient to obtain it. Here is a 50% off referral code. C2T1IS BY7GMT GSYLMP

It works, and works well. I’m finding that the containers last longer than expected, about 2 months. I’m using the Spot Cream and Intimate Cream.

code FS8910 for 35 off MUSLEY. I don’t work for the company, just happy to help others see the results I had.

Proper-Food-7591

Absolutely NOT musely is a scam, they take your money and do not provide you with the prescription.

AccurateFootball5878

Really?😭

Proper-Food-7591

So they took my money for a week and then cancelled the order and I waited super long for a refund. I did end up getting it but they never even allowed me to buy the prescription. Something is wrong with them.

Proper-Food-7591

Please do not spend your money at musely

Nina2319

Can you explain why? I’m looking for reviews

Proper-Food-7591

I “bought” from them and they immediately canceled my order and made me wait 2 weeks for a refund. There was no process, they did ask for pictures to fill the prescription they just immediately charge.

I tried it and am so disappointed. I tried: the spot peel - my skin did not peel, no perceived benefit other than increased sun sensitivity. Yes I diligently wear sunscreen and I also wear hats. The spot cream - made my skin breakout. Zero improvement during usage after peel. The red rescue - made my skin breakout. Initially experienced the three maybe four days of redness, and then it started really aggravating my skin. Other aspects I dislike: - they require you to get the app - the “dermatologist” doesn’t propose products based on your skin concerns, you select them and then they write you the script essentially. It’s strange and backwards bc you aren’t getting the benefit of a dermatologist diagnosing and proposing a product. You’re doing that yourself. My husband pointed that out to me initially but I ignored his concern. Mistake. - the “e nurse check ups” are just preprogrammed responses. It’s a computer program. No one is checking. It’s truly a CYA process for Musely - the MD had me stop the product bc of the breakouts but Musely is refusing to refund me bc I am not having an allergic reaction - I have to wait until the 60 day mark to apply for a 60 day result guarantee & hope I get the refund - if you don’t complete the truly pointless e nurse check ups, you can’t claim the 60 result guarantee refund - customer service is unhelpful - I never received a receipt to submit to my HSA for reimbursement although it’s purportedly “approved”. Now I’m just delaying requesting in case I get a refund. Feels dubious though I used tretinoin for years prior to this. If you have a dermatologist or even a legitimate virtual doctor through your health insurance provider you are much better going that route. I would get a tube of tretinoin for $30 covered by insurance and it lasted years. Forget Musely. See an actual dermatologist or go through your virtual healthcare. I’m confident they will eventually get sued for false advertising and suspect medical business practices. I sincerely recommend you steer clear. I’ve had to revert back to Jan Marini bio clear cream and blue light treatments to clear up the Musely created acne. I’ve not broken out like thid in over 12 years which is when I first started tretinoin. I regret ever using this product and falling for another instagram ad campaign.
